IVF in 2021?

I've been seeing dr Phoon. So far I found she's very good. A motherly type of gynea, her tone of voice is very calming that suits my liking as im those scared of seeing gynea and all the procedures and etc. And yes, sometimes the waiting time could be longer despite having appt time. But I think it's understandable since she went off to help urgent matters like delivery or so.

As per today, the earliest slot you could get for IVF will be July. This is what dr Phoon told me and she also directly registered for me as it's alr till July.
Hihi. Does private patient has a faster slot?

Hi. Im new here. I just started seeing the specialist at kkh and planning to let her know in the upcoming appointment that I wish to go through ivf. Usually how long after we agree then we will start the ivf treatment? Isit a long queue? Thank you!

Hello! sending best wishes for you
Latest i went to see Dr Phoon on 11/2 and at that point of time, the earliest IVF slot will be on July. Not sure if it's for whole hospital or just those under Dr Phoon.

Don't mind me asking. July slot... As in start of July? Or end of July Hahaha Im so anxious to faster move to that stage . I'm considering if I should go for private clinics out of kkh to have a faster process but it's so exp!

Hello!! It's okay. Haha for the date I'm unsure though lol She didn't inform us I think (or might be simply forgotten).
As for me, I'll be going for my 3rd IUI before going for IVF. So she told me she'll just register for IVF first as July is the earliest available date which still a few months later. if the IUI succeed or when we tried naturally before the IVF schedule, she'll cancel it.
I think should be early July ba and I'm private patient at KKH cos I stick with one gynea.

hi! I’ve just started seeing Dr Jessie first consultation with her last week! She’s motherly like what you said. Kinda nervous for my next appt with her thou - she’s talked about going for SOIUI for my next step n not ivf yet. Thou I’m more keen to go straight for IVF and not waste time. Is she open to suggestions?

Is there a telegram or WhatsApp group for folks under Dr Jessie or in KKH?

Just created a telegram group chat for ladies who've been TTC. But not specifically for dr Jessie.

Group name : TTC ✨ 2022

I just left NUH after a failed IVF and will be starting IVF at Sincere this week. Prof Ng is very nice and detailed. Takes his time to answer all your question without rushing etc, and is very gentle and detailed with scans. we Have a WhatsApp info group about him with ppl who have joined and who are considering joining, let me know if u wanna join. ;)

Hi all,

wondering if the WA group for Prof Ng is still active? Can I join? I am planning to go back to him sometime soon!

hi, did you all tell ur boss/colleagues you doing ivf? I was wondering what excuse to give for the 2 week mc?
nope, unless super close friends and family members, why would you your colleagues to know you are doing IVF? If it's a success or failure, there will be bound to have negative comments which might not be pleasing to your ears. at workplace, keep it professional.

for the excuse, you can say that you are undergoing a minor op to remove fibroids etc - the common women's problem
