wah, lily, u tried so many brands of diaper!
porky, sealer also hv this prob -- the poo will leak out and stain clothes/bedsheets
will stick to nepia/huggies/pampers in future.

Thanks adv_sports. Btw I find Huggies and Pampers tighter fitting than Mamy Poko... and thicker too. So far they both gave me no prob except a bit thick so was afraid will be too hot for baby. Mamy Poko is thinner, cooler but once baby moves about, I find the diapers tend to shift and at times, that's how my baby's poo was smeared on one side.

Hi mummies, for those who are expressing, how long do you express each time?
Is it true that for the first 15 mins, we'll only get foremilk which is thinner and the hindmilk, which really fills up the baby, only comes in the later 15 mins?

Glenlyn,
With #1, we tend to do more things for them.. I did the GD mathes flash cards, but actually I flash to her until no. 20 only.. For #2, did not even take out the flash cards to show him.
Now with #3, since I got more Mat Leave, I think I better make full use of it!

I felt like a dying woman last nite when fever strike me at 40.1 degrees. Worst, my #1 was pressing against the engorged side which made me feel even more painful. Basically, i could only lie on the bed and rely on my helper to bring baby to me for latching. Couldn't even find the strength to burp her. Popped 6 panadol cold tablets in all yesterday. Luckily, fever subsided to 38+ by 11+ at nite and i could carry my gal properly and latch her. My gal insist on being latched on at nite before she will sleep. But luckily, she is not the latched to sleep type. Latch, burp, rock then sleep. Fever has finally subsided this morning.

I be starting work next monday...so sad and "sian" to return. I may be clearing another 2 weeks end July to early Aug of my maternity leave. If you mummies are planning to come JP in end July, will join you all k.
Had tried the following diaper brands.

re jp gathering - count me in! i'm only returning to work on 5 oct coz taking a mth of no pay lve.
tinklesmum - you can differentiate the foremilk and hindmilk fr the colour. foremilk is like barley water, hindmilk is white. i take at least 30mins to clear my breasts, sometimes up to 45mins coz long intervals betw pumps. i only pump 4x daily, it's 5-6hr intervals.

feb_mum - our express schedue same - I am doing 30 mins now also, just so I can clear the breasts. I took 4-5 hrs interval also to have more milk, but that means not enough to supplement my baby's 2 hrly feeding lor... sigh

I also worry for Chelsea at IFC. Her first day on 15th July. Sekali 20/7 me still stuck with her at the IFC..wahahhaa
I think the parents seem to have more seperation anxiety than the baby! haha

tinklesmum - initially, i oso had to supplement with fm. but with regular pumping, my milk ss is now enuff for my bb. currently i hv surplus to store too. hv you tried taking motherlove more milk plus capsules? i found this better than taking fenugreek in terms of boosting milk supply. you might want to give it a try.

Let down = lots of milk spraying out.. u will feel tingling sensation when the let down comes..
first let down usually start when u start pumping... second let down (my case)happens after 10 mins of pumping or sometimes 15 mins of pumping. lots of milk will be spraying out again, and after which I can feel my breasts are emptied
