National Day 2022: Food, Fun & Fireworks for SG57!
As the Lion City gears up to celebrate its 57th birthday, it’s time to indulge in all things local. Dress up in your red-and-white best, and gather your family and friends. 2. National Day Treats – LAVO Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar
Herald in our country’s birthday with a sky-high gourmet experience as LAVO pays homage to local fare. Relish Singapore Chilli Crab with golden fried mantou and Lobster Laksa starring fresh Maine lobster. Tender chunks of black pepper beef and pineapple slaw top Pulled Beef Pizza, another must-try. 4. National Day Dim Sum Menu – Yàn

6. National Day 2022 Afternoon Tea Pop-up – Waterfall Lounge
This August, Furama Singapore teams up with Leon Lim, MasterChef Singapore Season 2 runner-up. The Afternoon Tea Pop-up at Waterfall Lounge boasts sweets and savouries that celebrate all things local. Highlights include Black Pepper Seafood Pie Tee, Salted Egg Chicken Vol-au-vent, and Roasted Black Sesame Cheesecake. Otah Mushroom Parcel with Cauliflower Mash, one of Leon’s winning dishes in the MasterChef kitchen, will also feature. NATIONAL DAY 2022 FIREWORKS & FAMILY FUN
16. NDP @ The Float
The National Day Parade finally returns to The Float @ Marina Bay in all its full glory. As always, there are two main segments, beginning with the Total Defence Display by the SAF and Home Team. The show portion celebrates Singaporeans’ journey over the last two years, as we battled and emerged from the pandemic together. Look forward to the return of traditional favourites, such as The State Flag Flypast and the Salute-To-The Nation bomb burst. Before the main event on 9 August, there will also be two Preview Shows on 23 and 30 July.

17. NDP @ Heartlands
Singaporeans can get a head start on celebrations at five heartland carnivals the weekend before. Expect fun activities, engaging exhibitions, music and dance performances, and a static display by the SAF and Home Team. On 7 August, admire the Red Lions free-falling over the fields beside Bishan MRT and opposite Ghim Moh Market. In tandem with the actual Parade, catch the Fighter Island Flypast and Fly Our Flag by the RSAF on their routes around the island, as well as simultaneous fireworks displays at five locations in the evening.

18. National Day Fiesta – Singapore Sports Hub
Participate in fun and interactive family activities at Singapore Sports Hub’s National Day Fiesta. 23. VIVA Foundation Presents An Evening of Pop-Opera with FIVERA
Help better the lives of childhood cancer patients and survivors while celebrating SG57. Head to the Singapore Botanic Gardens for a relaxing picnic and immersive evening of pop-opera by FIVERA. The first and only Thai pop-opera group is a quintet of classically trained musicians boasting a repertoire of classic operatic arias and international pop favourites.
