We’re glad to share that there will be six official long weekends to look forward to in 2022. Furthermore, by strategically taking leave days (or turning the H in #WFH from Home to Hotel), parents can muster at least another five to coincide with our kids’ scheduled school holidays. As we count down to the end of a torrid 2021, let’s begin making plans for a Happy New Year. If that sounds good to you, read on for our pick of family-friendly staycations to fill school holidays and public holidays 2022.
New Year’s Day + Day after New Year’s Day | 1-3 January (Sat – Mon)
While working parents officially start work on Monday, 3 January, the school term doesn’t begin till Tuesday, 4 January. If the kids are all prepped and ready for the new term, why not end 2021 with a NYE staycation and kickstart 2022 in relax mode? There may not be any fireworks downtown this year, but you get a bird’s eye view of the Shine a Light display and light installations around Marina Bay.
