For the Indian food lovers....
I tried this place called Spice Junction at Racecourse Road last night:

It's in between Muthu's Curry and Apoollo's Banana Leaf. In fact, it is right next to a big restaurant called Gayatri Restaurant.
Review:
- Chicken nasi bryani is different from local Singaporean style. Chicken is cooked with rice together and they don't use turmeric, so no yellow coloring, and not as strong as local ones. Quite light... not bad.
- Fish pollichadu, which is fish marinated with spices and pan-fried, wrapped in a banana leaf, quite yummy, although I personally find it a bit salty... but remember, I don't use salt in my own cooking, maybe that's why I find it salty
- Stir-fried lady's fingers Keralan style is quite nice, not overcooked.
- Prata (or they call it parota), is very good if you like the crispy non-oily kind. $1.70 per pc, 2 persons can share if there is rice as well. Good when dipped in the dishes with curry sauce... I dipped mine in the lady's fingers gravy.
- Masala tea is not bad; I didn't drink it... hubby drank it, but I could smell the masala from my side of the table.
- Mango kulfi which is supposed to be really good and popular, was out of stock... quite a disappointment for me as I was dying to try it!
Including 2 glasses of lime juice but excluding the mango kulfi, we paid only $30 in total.
