poohy, hoho,
Berries next year N1 class will accept those born in 2005. Your kids born in 2005 right ? Now very fast to next year Jan already lah. For N1 class they teach the kids to recognize 2 characters every week, and a lot of emphasis on Chinese conversation.
hoho,
Hehehe I heard it from another mommy(in this forum) who heard about it. Her own girl is 5 years old, doing P2 maths ! More shivering hehehe
Actually different kids got different standards, the most important thing is for our child to enjoy learning at this age.
poohy,
I think every school is one size fits all, they need to cater to all the students. There are many kids who are only capable to learn alphabets and numbers at 3 or 4 years old. That's why the syllabus is structured that way. So if a child is faster in development, then we need to look for enrichment classes to supplement. I am not sure about Kumon classes in our area.
