Hi babykk,
I'm using clearblue fertility monitor. It's very much like opk. You start testing from approm cd 9. The monitor will remember your cycle pattern.. When it's near the O date, it will shows high, roughly 2 days, then during O will show peak for about 2 days. Then back to high for a day and low again. For the past few cycles when I'm using it, I will double check with normal opk, somehow the reading will tallies with opk and bbt.
One thing about it is, you have to remember to test everyday, when it prompts you too, if you miss 1 day and continue, it might mistaken and shows you a peak. And the rest of the cycle is abit messed up. Other than that, it's rather expensive, the sticks cost about $80 for 20 sticks, if your cycle is regular and about 28-30 days, you will only need 10 sticks per month, if you're like me, irregular, you may need up to 20 sticks. The monitor will get you to test in 10s. Meaning if you start on cd 9 and ovulate on cd 14, it will continue to ask for sticks till cd 19 and stop, then prompt you when your menses day is coming.
If you start on cd 9 and only ovulate on cd 25. Then it will ask for sticks till cd 29. Causing you to use 20 sticks. Cost Is one of the factor when using this monitor, other than that, it's quite good at pinpointing the fertile days.
Queenie, hahaha I've heard about tribestan. Ya it's abit like tongkat Ali. It's good that your dh is putting in effort. I'm sure both your effort will pay off soon.
Ladies, if my dh is taking the Blackmore men's performance vitamin alr, is it too much if I get him to take the vitamin c with zinc? I am afraid that I will load him too much vitamins. Los!
