as the day gets nearer and nearer i get very scared!!! dono what to expect on that day man..
my colleagues advise me to stop going for manicure.. but that's my hobby leh!! really shouldnt?? any advise??
anyway is it the weather or is it me that's getting warmer and warmer these days?? super warm man! i don't even need blanket at night under the aircon blast! but my hubby is those kind who dont like aircon.. so he keep complaining he's not feeling well coz of the aircon... but what to do! i very hot leh!

i'm glad he's very generous. if he has more he will share. if he don't have enough, he will consider. haha. i guess it's typical since he's only 4. sometimes we pretend to be poor thing then he'll allow us to bite 1 tiny mouth of his existing food.

Petrina, I don't believe it lor.. Another old wives' tale. How can the dye affect the baby's hair colour? I'd believe you more if you say the ammonia can affect the baby's development instead, but ammonia has no colour and is not a bleach 
As for manicure, I thought it's safe since it's applied only to our nails which is not so porous? My nails are looking disgusting... really need a good trimming and polishing.

i also tot is a bit funny as the lesson 5 is before lesson 4. my hubby oso said that. their logistics not so good. the 1st sms that i received is the class changed to 11 march leh..i spotted that and tried calling them yesterday but the line was fully engaged. then think someone mus have called them so they resend another sms lor..

cindy, we can still do mani/pedi la. just find a salon with good ventilation. some i know got very strong chemical smell..long exposure not that good for any normal human, much less pregnant woman.
hair color, i dun dare to do that..cos chemical will direct contact with skin..unless u tell the stylist not to touch your scalp. bought the liese diy hair dye before i know i am preggie..now the box still unopened..hope it can last till i give birth.

all asian parents. then we compare with those friends incl myself who didn't dye. our kiddo's hair really very black.
so i dunno lah. some of my friends who want their kids to have brownish hair will dye their hair towards 9mths. so far they like the outcome.
manicure cause the edge of our nails is our skin. usually preg i do cure. no mani.

There was once that he almost carried him to bring him home, lucky i saw it or else i cant imagine both of them falling onto the floor together. similar to drinking soya bean to have fairer skin.
my #1 had lots "taimao". after shaving @ manyue, he was botak for 4mths.. no hair grew at all.
anyway we won't shave for #2 since she's a girl. just snip off some to make the brush.

ssmilezz, I also on the fan in the room with a/c on to circulate the air and also cos I don't let the a/c run throughout the night. it will be switched off after an hr or so when the room is cooled down.
Petrina, eating heshouwu can make your hair blacker, but not sure if that's advisable to eat now since it's a TCM herb. But my hubby and I take a lot of soy milk/curd. Hopefully that makes baby's skin better. My hubby is also fair and has smooth skin..better than mine cos I'm a bit more tan.. hahaha..

They DO dry up even if they're unused. You can use them for wiping dirty desk tops, etc. though I'd rather throw them away as it leaves a thin film behind and I can't stand the fragrance of some of the brands.</font>

Prettibride, I know you wanna to be a prettimum after being a prettibride...lol...but won't it abit too troublesome or you might be too tired to remove make-up after dunno hw many hrs of delivery?
I still wonder will I have the time or bother to put on make-up after delivery....when visitors come over. I might be too tired or in pain to do anything, other than to try to bf my darling.
Nattan, it's great that your hubby is allow to go with you. At least he can help to carry things for you and assist you in all matters.

Anna, yeah... happy.. but now have to settle doctor's letter and passport before I can officially go. As for hubby, it's up to him, but I'd be happy if he agrees to go with me. Only thing is our cats will be home alone for 2 nights
Asrias, although not using makeup, I think it's important to pile on more moisturiser cos we're going to spend lots of time in the hospital and the a/c air is drying for the skin. Dry skin got no glow

hahaa..not me la..for those mummies that still insist on looking good. for me, i think i'll be in too much pain to care less about anything else. anyway i'll ban visitors except immed family...whoever wans to see baby can post photo on FB etc.
