well...if u have those calendar(those with horse pic one on sat or sun...)
those horse pic below indicate penang, KL or singapore means the respective place got race...

the road to gurney lead to the horse racing course too...

penang fruit farm...never go b4, for me no need to visit one cos my uncle's backyard got a few different fruit trees...
khoo kong si...yah visited liao and gotten the postcards...nearly all the tourist spots visit the last round i went back...

my fav r penang laksa, fried kway teow, deep fried chicken skin(crispy and yummy) and some local delights

oh did u drive up to the dam? along the way there are some mini waterfalls... very nice...

my dad also bot the pandan flavour tau sar pia before...ok only...

oh yah...
another good product is the nutmeg oil...and the nutmeg flesh in packs...yummy...

Jus came back from airport to collect infant tix & ICA collect ethan's passport. onli spend less than 10mins there! so surprise!

ya, i staying in sunroute plaze shinjuku. i booked the twin room cos bigger than double bed room. ya, i read tat the double bed is smaller than our queen so i din book tat. if can, help me check which exit pls? i know there's 1 exit that's v near to the station. thanks!

anyway Denson haven gone to HK b4, n my hubby has been ranting abt not going to ocean park.. so can fulfill his wish at the same time..

i am still hoping to go japan b4 Denson turns 2.. haha

we dun mind to go penang 2nd time. we did not get a chance to go for night market at Batu Ferringi. yes we did drive up the Dam, we see the mini waterfall, we miss the entrance to the kek lok si temple drove all the way up lor and see the dam, then we ask 2 young chaps where the kek lok si, then realize we miss it hahaha

so 2 young chaps told us this dam is a nice place since we up here juz walk around see see look look lah, juz nice take the chance to change Edric diaper.

yah...when i younger, gurney area nothing much except the food stalls...
no big shopping malls there so everytime only go to komtar to shop...

nowadays tourist do not really go to town to shop at komtar and nearby shopping malls liao...
 
april, I second the tau sar pia at balestier. There r two similar shops but I prefer the one at the extreme right first store. Long Queue and they close shop very early.

there is one at basement 4 Ion Orchard shud be quite nice. Why I said that because my fussy daddy like it so much ask me to buy again. I am not a tau sa pia lover myself :p

Ya, delta dun issue infant tix online so must go down airport to collect. so since must go to east side to collect passport then do it together. i book direct not thru zuji cos tat time zuji gv me lots of problems. book direct even cheaper & better customer svc.

i ask them abt bassinet. they say ethan too heavy to sit inside. but they say max is 10kg. i was puzzled why they say tat cos ethan shd be less than 10kg or does he look heavier than 10kg? anyway, they say it's based on 1st come 1st serve on tat day & there're many families travelling tat particular day. will see how on the actual day. cos they say may give us an empty seat instead which to me is even better. i rather hv an extra seat than the bassinet. haha!
 
zen, mean delta not confirming bassinet for u..for SQ & other airline usually u need to called & confirmed the bassinet seat. the bassinet is limited cos oli on the row of seat that facing the wall so tat the bassinet can attached to the wall...i dunno how they gng to manage for 1st cum 1 serve.

SQ said up to 14kgs dunno how true hahaha..SQ sure full de dun thk i can ask for extra seat for her. moreover we alr confirmed the seats wif bassinet.

actually i've already selected the seats i wanted online which is the 2nd row after the bassinet row. my hb not keen on the bassinet row also. i was thinking in case we want the bassinet, it's easier to change with the front passengers. high chance we dun need the bassinet cos ethan doesn't even wan to sit in his car seat & stroller. let alone the bassinet. not sure if our flight is going to be a full-flight cos i remember those who are going to US will be taking the SIN-Tokyo-LA flight & do a transit at tokyo. jus crossing my fingers tat they'll really give us the empty seat next to us.
 
Zen, ic usually they will allocate the seats for parent by following the bassinet. Of cos cant keep them bassinet mainly for them to sleep there. Else u hv to carry him for the 7hrs of flight?
 
For our flight to tokyo, we were lucky to have empty seats cos i played cheat lah, when selecting the seats, i left an empty seat in between hubby and me. Haha .. i guess everyone knows that my seat is with bassinet, so they siam our row. Turn out there are 2 seats empty at my row, just nice for us.

But going back was a siong cos we can't do internet check in ourselves as we did not hv internet access. We were all allocated different seats. So my sis request to have us all seated together since the flight is not full. So we were all seated together in the same row. But there were so many empty seats behind .. had to entertain ovann thruout the flight and it's not easy. Then when he finally slept, kept on having turbulance and had to take him out from the bassinet. Tough!

yup, they'll usually allocate those who wanted bassinet to sit at bassinet row. but when i chose seats online, those seats are all taken up already. not sure if it's becos they wanted to put bassinet or they jus anyhow choose. anyway, it doesn't really matter to us cos my hb will usually go to the galley to tok to the crew. ex-crew habit lah. think this time wif ethan, he'll bring him around to chit-chat also.

I thinking if got empty seat can ask my hubby to sit there..if not still got bassinet...hopefully SQ bassinet really can take up to 14kgs cos jovia is >10kgs lolz

april, thanks for helping to upload the photos of the bash! Is Gurney anywhere near Ferringhi? I'm off to Ferringhi next week, looking forward to Penang laksa. Is it easy to drive around Penang, is it in rental car?

piggy, i jz wondering cos it's up to dunno 13-15kgs for my carseat thinking if we really need to chg when reach the limit. cos my carseat quite ex has been using since my gal was 2mths old till now.

i tink weight is 1 thing u mus also see ur gal size wor.. cos if she tall cant even fit in no choice gotta change mah.. nvm la tell urself #2 will still get to use so no waste:p

ya, quickly have #2 then won't waste. :p.

It's better to change when they are taller since yours sounds like a baby car seat. It's also more comfy for them.

how long can we keep the milk making making huh? sometimes my boy dont want to drink and I'm thinking if I can keep in the fridge and warm up the next time or not...
so wasted leh, everything pour away...
