Moo mum: MMR. Wanted to take chicken pox jab. But they said that mummy pregnant better not let baby take jab lest baby fall sick and affect preggy mummy.

Suraya: My daughter's fever was very slight. I think about 37.5 to 38 only. Have you tried using the fever patch? I pasted that on her forehead whenever she had fever. It helps to disperse the heat.

My condo has got a baby pool and a mini jacuzzi which the kids use as a pool, they are next to the function room. There are shower facilities too but I think only got cold water.. The function room is not as big as pinkypink.. half the size of her function room (but free booking)
The big pool is around 1.2m deep.. so if you bring some floats, the babies can float around in the big pool with mummy and daddy.
So let me know which dates to book soon.. 2-5pm is good time for me. Cos I can ask for the room to be open early for those mummies who are able to come and help out or want to swim with the kiddies

Starflower, i just went for the staccato trial on thursday. There was only me and my friend in the class. Most weekday classes only have 2 people, i feel this results in low energy in the class.
Anyways, fwew minutes were spent singing songs, playing ball (bounce it to a rhythm), recognising notes, playing the keyboard, etc
But i feel (and my friend agrees) that insufficient time is allocated to each activity, like only less than 5 mins sometimes n the teacher keeps trying to hold the kids' hands n make them do things like play piano but most kids dun like to be held! So lots of screaming and the teacher cannot control the kids or engage them...

powerball: sunay went on total food strike for ab 10 days few weeks ago... suddenly one day he decided to stop and start eating again... lol

Powerball: Have you tried other foods besides porridge with Dexter?
In Val's case, she wasn't very well received with porridge. But when we brought her out to share our food.. Or when we fed her soupy or noodle food, she was pretty receptive and eager to eat lei..
So I tend not to cook her meals at times since its going down the drain eventually.. But feed her adult food.. Cos at least she is eating...

When sunay was on his food strike he even refused crackers, fruits, adult food, etc.
Very heart pain to waste food but I continued offering meals as per routine n one day abt 10 days into the strike he started eating again. I realise he eats more if I let him walk ard... But I hate that method, I prefer hi chair feeding.
So once he ate a bit I allowed him 2 days of running ard while eating then bk to hi chair, it's been ok til now
