Cal, my gynae was also dr adrian, he's the chop chop kind when seeing patients but good enough and to the point, no nonsense, but he will see u and ans calls fast if there's any falls, bleeding etc. (I had lots of those) Initially he told me i had to do c-sect cos baby in breach position, but towards the late stages he told me baby's head has turned, thus do natural, so i guess he pretty pro-natural, cos i was a bit hesitant as he had prepared me for c-sect earlier - He told me can do natural why not, haha, so i delivered naturally lor, but with the help of vacummn.

cal, i see him at both CCK and SK cos i am staying central:p if weekdays i'll see him at SK, else if its on weekends, CCK.

therefore also thinking if i shld see him again if i am expecting again cos so far!!

So in early stage of ur preg, u kan always try a new Dr then if dun click, go follow-up w anothr. I've had frenz who did so coz they juz dint like some of e Drs they 1st saw -- even w some female Drs!

I highly recommend mine -- he's veri easy-going. Bt e waiting kan kill. Min 1hr. Somemore he's veri fair, u r given ur Q# according 2 ur appt timing. His clinic in TPY Central so every x I go get Q# then go jln. In rare cases when he finish ahead of schedule, e nurse wl call &amp; prompt us 2 go back 2 e clinic soon. Bt datz rare cases. I kena few x he rush out e deliver bb somemore so e nurses wl ask e waiting rm: who wanna cont'd waiting or who wanna reschedule?

TMC 3D2N Natural w/o epi w vacuum, 4 bedder (upgrade to 2 bedder for free), total bill about $3k+, paid cash $5.6 when I was discharged :p

I really liked him and will go back to him if I'm preg again.

Odyssey: went to fourth avenue campus yesterday, not too far from main road if u wanna walk n relatively close to my house. Sorry kidz, was a last minute plan so couldnt tell u!

Anyway, as I reached I thought i'm stepping into bintan angsana resort or smthing! It's gorgeous! The kids eat at a sheltered outdoor terrace n lots of independence is encouraged, ie kids get to self feed but teachers watch to see where food is gg- tummy or floor. Kid- tchr ratio is 1:4 n class size is max 16.

It's terribly costly but I love the plc! Plus it's a brand new n thus well kept n clean campus. The kids looked happy n the one who was crying was being comforted by a teacher.

I got good vibes n think I will start sunay ard December once JG term 4 ends. Which means we won't do playclub next yr after all cuz I doubt I can handle it when I'm alr in 3rd
trimester. Lazy mummy hor.

Hope this helps those who wanted info on odyssey, let mr know if I didn't add anything.

Ps: they have trained music, art, kids cooking teachers for those segments of the curriculum, the school takes a project based approach to learning vs. Music which is the medium of learning in places like pat's sch hse.

21st aug they r having some open house like thing, if anyone is interested I can find out more... I'm probably going.
 
Btw, the mummy who sold the cartoon watches is selling colour pencils, oil pastels, etc now. $2 a set if buying 10 sets. Anyone else interested??

When he was abt 3m away, he saw B1 &amp; juz kept staring @ her. I actuali stared @ him bt he dint even notice me! Then he walked past us &amp; I stopped 2 look @ his "disappearing back". He actuali stopped a short distance away &amp; turned back 2 stare @ B1 agn -- then he looked up &amp; our eyes met, he realised I was staring @ him &amp; he hastily walked off w a guilty look. S/how as I saw him, I juz dint hv gd vibes &amp; now I highly suspect he's some pervert coz he stared @ her til like dat... I dint go aft him bt I pointed @ him &amp; talked 2 B1 loudly -- for ppl around us 2 hear -- "Something wrong with dat man to stare @ you until like &amp; look back to stare @ you again"

Any mommies here interested to sign their child for the weekend class with Julia Gabriel? Would love to join u all for the weekday classes but I'm a FTWM so gotta opt for the weekends!

Also, is there any babies here not walking yet?? My little Jovan is still crawling around and could only do 2-3 steps unassisted! I am waiting for the day he could walk so I can bring him to the zoo!!

Kidz, didn;t know IMM has a water play area!! Will check it out when I am free!!

Hi baby mummy, I've tried the snack mug, but sunay is at the stage where he tries to open it n succeeds!!! So lots of wastage.

My friend's baby only started walking at almost 19 mths, but now that she's started she's quite steady. So I guess it's ok

different speed fr diff babies! Like sunay doesn't talk alot, so I just figure he's kind of a non talkative kid... He only days the words he likes, when he wants to ... Cannot force him to say. Lol

Baby_mummy: My elder son also refuses to talk or walk even when he's approaching 18months...had a very hard time and was worried that he might been....u know...but he picked up all these skills pretty fast after we enrolled him into his 2nd childcare center...so we realised that he just needs some "peer pressure"

Found out when I called them 2 enquire abt e toddler class. Their CC wl b located @ 131 Dover Road, juz nxt 2 United World College (SEA). Bt start date delayed fr diz yr to early 2011. I emailed them 4 whatever info they kan give me 1st coz diz sounds veri promising 2 -- esp in terms of location -- walking (or jogging) distance 4 me &amp; literally a stone's throw fr my hb's wkplc. Y'day it suddenly dawn on me dat I veri likley nd 2 put Bastion in full (for a season) or half-day CC while I go vltr @ whc PS we trying 2 get B1 in2. As if searching 4 e rite sch 4 Bastion isn't stressful enuf!!!!

thanks catherine! Hee I think Jovan needs to be more daring leh.. (he is quite a timid boy!) i think he is quite traumatised after his fall when he first started his baby steps. Fell onto his learning table and earned a big red bruise on his left eye!

Kris.. hee very likely they might try to screw it in to realise why is it so hollow? I think its kinda cute leh... haha gonna get it for my table!

Anyways I didnt manage to negotiate for a better price just foc delivery.

Joie, I'm pretty decided on odyssey Liao. Filled in forms n will drop them off on 21st. What do u need to know? I love the environment n the student teacher ratio, plus the new premises n outdoor n ecological sustenance aspect of it.

And like I said, the kids looked happy.

Pinkypink.. can you take some pics of the classroom? How's the quality of the teachers when you speak to them - is their English really good?

How do they interact with the kids? Do they show 'love' for the kids in the way they treat/discipline the kids?

What types of food do they serve the kiddes and how much time do they give for self feeding?
