edj, i just called GUG, they allow trial class for 3 bbies max, need to give them 1 wk notice. Available timings are Mon, Wed, Fri at 1pm..

Kp, want to go for trial first? The timings are what you intend to sign up for rite. BTW you r rite, JG is $200 more ex than GUG.

But then, trial at GUG so expensive ah!! $50 nett leh, while 1 actual session is $30, they put such a high premium on trial, guess they don't want you to go for trial lah

I find my Mandarin a bit rusty now. All my chinese return to lao shi already! Oh, you shifted to Tanah Merah already ah, hee still thought you are at depot or somewhere quite far!

mommies, i think you should go for trial first, notwithstanding the ex trial price. Always try before you buy! Oh, I didn't know that Suntec is for weekend only. Hmm, that means they leave the premise empty during the weekday?!

you should practice driving with E, then it makes going out so much more convenient. Also, don't have to rely on unfriendly taxi driver to store your buggy!

Pei, I'm still deciding what classes to send him.. that's why want to go for trials 1st, no hurry lah, still so small. Actually am leaning towards JG's mandarin play, but for playnest must go 3 X a wk, think too much, so might wait till he's 18mth then join the playclub twice a wk. Do you know of other centers that has mandarin classes like JG's?
 
My bb still napping! Definitely cannot make it for lunch liao.. If I manage to get there early, will look for you guys at delifrance 1st

Have not actively look out for playgroups conducted in Mandarin, yet. Think for now, I just want to socialise bb! She ek ek ek when other bbs touch her. But is OK with adults. Don't know why. Tsk tsk tsk!!!

Hehe yea i was the earliest, or shld i say, my bb is the earliest today. Usu i go read paper n eat breakie after waking but today the weather is juz too nice! Went back to slp after tat n juz woke up when bb woke again at ard 11am juz now.. Woke up to find so many posts here! ha..
My hb oso did the same! Asked me to slp more n he'll handle bb if he wakes up in the middle of nite.. very nice of him! hehe

actually i nvr watch TV while nursing b4 this. (sorta forgot abt its existence in the rm :p) Only tried once n my bb got sooooo distracted. will nvr switch it on again during nursing! ha.. was watching American Idol the other nite ma, Simon's last season :p

The swimming pool at Suntec is real cold especially so early in the morning as it is outdoor. Are your babies wearing thermal swimwear? My boy only have a normal swimwear, so wondering whether need to get him a thermal swimwear.

Itz either he's stronger or me bfdg him while I was sick helped pass him antibodies coz when he caught B1's 1st viral infection, his fever also juz lasted 1D. Bt diz viral infections r reali severe &amp; I hope no 1's bb has 2 go thru it. I tink I'm wacked e most coz 2 tired liao dat fever is now back aft it went on 1D holiday...

hi mummies... been a loong while since I last came in here. Want to seek some advice. I'm just starting to replace one milk feed in the morning with cereals. I'm giving my gal Bellamy + BM + fruit puree. How much cereals are most of your babies taking now huh? And how much milk (esp if BM) are you all mixing them with?
 
hi mummies who have brought bb on travelling trip already. any tips to share? esp on the food?
i'm bring bb to Genting and KL next week. hope it will be breeze..
besides the basic things like diapers, milk, cereals, warm clothings, hot water, any impt stuff to bring along?
 
hi cocobunz... for me, I just ran through what I needed from the time she wakes up till bedtime at night, and won't miss anything. But most importantly is to pack a fever cool pack and some paracetamol prescribed from her ped/GP... very important... cos my gal had fever on the way back, and the fever pack and medi worked wonders to keep her temperature in control.

you are totally replacing milk feed in the morning with cereals? for me, bb's normal milk feed is 6-7 ounce, so i cut down to 4-5 ounce. then i give her 3-4 tbs of cereals with fruit puree. btw, it is ok to totally replace milk feed? cos i tot they need milk when they are less than 1 yr old

so far here's my feeding schedule for my baby boy, 9 months

6am - milk feed @ 200ml

9am - breakfast of rice, milk and fruit puree

12noon - lunch of rice, milk fish, vegetable and fruit puree

3pm - milk feed @ 200ml

6pm - dinner of rice, milk,fish, vegetable fruit puree

9pm - milk feed @ 200ml..

the amount of rice per meal is at 4 milk scoops and milk is at 3 milk scoops.

I just bought huggies red packaging for bb to use cos MP and pampers getting too ex with the big sizes!! Not bad leh, cheaper and good also, giant having offer now - Powerball, since its ur fav shopping place can go buy:p

Audrey, i just opened the huggies packet! Good thing i bought XL, its just nice for him!! Is there XXL??

KP: is huggies cheaper? pull pants which is e cheapest.. i using Only MP now for both pull up n diapers..each pc is more than 30cents...
 
owmum, its 0.29cents each for XL size, huggies red packaging. I never use pull up pants leh, not too keen either cos its ex!! no prob for me to wear for bb cos got maid to help hold him down mah,haha. MP and pampers L size ald almost 40cents per piece cant imagine when the size gets bigger gonna be more ex!!

Other cheap-cheap brand is MP Value Pantz whc I tried 4 my gal bt e quality is veri inconsistent coz some x one e pantz in one pk is veri tight til leaves red marks on my gal. Dan another pk ok. I think aft 4-5pks I stopped buying. If u do wanna try diz brand, do note dat e smaller pks r actuali cheaper per pc dan e bigger pks - strange bt true. For B2 I've onli bought Drypantz whc I find is softer dan Huggies Pull Ups. Bt my fave is Nepia -- however I think cutting a bit big for now so I won't get 4 B2 yet. Btw, hv u tt 2 me yet 4 ON spree? Rmbr 2 update me so I kan cfm receipt. Tx!
