(2009/03) March 2009 MTBs

Only I went to hospital. But home now and feeling much better. Just weak and hungry!!

Was going to take the vaccine this week but looks like no need for that now since we would have built up our own immunity after this.

Hi mummies,

Hi Taztaz..

I am still considering on the venue.. Forum Shopping mall is much more accessible given the unpredictable weather condition.. come end of the year.. it will be rainy season..

P.seed,

Oh gosh! Thank god it din end up too badly for bb A! Rest well and drink more fluids. U definitely need to re-hydrate yourself!!

Pumpkin and baby, get well soon! rest well and drink more water.

Taz and Lenny.. I'm keen on JG's playnest but agree with Lenny that Forum is a better location due to weather. If anyone is organising JG playnest at Forum, count me in ya. my email is donroxx@ gmail.com

P.seed, hope Baby A and you get well soon!
*Lots of hugz..*

Good Morning Kome! Hope everything goes smoothly for you. And most importantly good health for your kids!

hi mummies.

going to "Fa Lau Sao" here
Haiz.. having a few bad nights.. A few of my units here are bought by China Chinese families.. apparently their kids like to scream and shout when they play even after past 10.oopm at night.. last night.. their kids schout at each of other from their windows across units after 10.30pm.

i don't know why their parents didn't stop them *faint*

sometimes.. i do hear his mum.. canning him a few consecutive nights.. ya.. after 10.00pm as well.. some times as late as 11.00pm.. her high pitched and loud voice with her son wailing in the background.. the whole block can hear her and her son.. i can even repeat what she said when she canned her boy.. its the same thing.. every night.. Sian manz..

yep.. kids need to disciplined.. i wonder if she can tone down while doing it? we are in SG... staying in apartment... not any mountain or hill in china... where no one can hear them.. muahahaha..

don;t know how long i keep quiet before i go down to make a visit. Muahahah..

Hi Kome,

i understand what u are going through.. don't worry.. things wil be better when u are more settled.. hey, think positive.. count your blessings that your hubby is around to help
happy.gif

Lenny
I think mainland chinese share the same traits. A china chinese family stays in a unit below my in-laws, and very often when we go back for dinner, we can hear the mother screaming at her kids, really loud.

Lenny,

aiyoo .. hope this does not affect Bree's sleeping.
My upstair, love to 'drill' (so much thing to drill meh?) 9-11pm. Luckily is not everyday(maybe once every 10days) but once they did this, my baby will cry from her sleep(usually she sleeps 7-8pm everyday.
I went up to knocked their door but they wouldn't open the door. Last week, i called 999 and they stopped drilling ... not sure if they open the door when police came .. i wonder what can the police do if they just don't want to open the door. See if they drill again next week .. then i am going to launch the complain to the HDB/i will be knocking their door every day .. or wet their clothes when they hang their clothes outside (so evil!!!) .. muahahaha ..

Hi,

just to check if any mummy has done the foot and handprint for your baby?

I like those "foot and handprint" from Best Imprezzione at KK Hospital. Does anyone know where to get those similar ones or DIY foot and handprint (not the stamping type)at a cheaper price?

Lenny & Sinmey
Poor thing.....you must be feeling fustrated right? Last week when over to my new house, top level already got people staying and they blast their speakers so loudly think the whole block can heard them lor. Luckily only a few people move in if not i think police will knock their door also.

kome
when u moving in?? reno mostly done up?

sinmey
my upstair unit love to move furniture or make noise during late night... so frustrated w them... wondering wat r they doing late at night... buay ta han... @#$%^&*
how u wet their clothes huh?? they are staying above u right? kekeke

lenny
hope bree still can sleep soundly... some neighbour very inconsiderate one... *sigh*

Hi mummies,

Re: Julia gabriel class..

I just called to enquire and was told that this term.. its full for the english session except for Forum Shopping mall. Tuesday and Thursday 1.00pm class is still available. Term already started.. if dun wanna join now, will need to wait till Jan next yr.

i was told that the diff between the 2 venues, evans road and forum is the availability of the outdoor area.... Evans road has sand play and water play.. which is outdoor.. whereas, forum's "outdoor". is still indoor.

anyway.. i have just requested for information from the school.. pending for review.. heheh..

Minnie, donroxx..

I called Julia gabriel .. they used to prganised trials but not anymore.. so..

i guess if we are keen.. will need to do a direct sign up..
sad.gif

let me know if you gals need the info.. i can just forward the mail from them to you.

I just bought a real drum for my LO to play as I thought she enjoyed it during those playgym. After playing at home yesterday, I wonder my neighbour would complaint as I think although the drum might not sound loud but the sound seem to travel far. Hee... :p

Beside a floor drum, also bought a pair of sound shaker and a bell rattle. HaHa... trying to cultivate music appreciation to my LO.

hello mummies, came in to share some pooey information ;P

anyone who wants their bb's constipation to get better, try ripe honeydew or plum. i guarantee u will not be disappointed... *cringe*

and i have discovered and established a new fact recently - some bananas leave black wriggly fibres in bb poo that look like worms. for anyone who has discovered this, check whether bb had banana in one of the last meals.

ok. back to lurking...

Hi Lenny, thanks for finding out. Could you send me the info via email? Thanks!

am wondering if i should send the little boy to JG or GUG. it seems at this age he would benefit more from JG as they are more "play based" =D

strawberry,
Ha, ya lor, he is like a bull. When we carry him in standing position on our thighs, he likes to jump jump jump, effects of the the jumperoo i guess
happy.gif
My boy these few days BM intake also drop alot, hope will get back to normal. He was also like that for a few days several wks ago.

P seed,
Hope u & BB getting much better. Our BM is really quite a miracle isn't it?
happy.gif
Speaking of which, govt announced today can use BB bonus for pneumococal jabs, great!

jassy,

i wanted to do the hand and foot print initially... but really very ex so didn't do it..
feeling a little regret. i can't help smiling when i see newborns, missing Bree when she is at that stage..
sad.gif

Hi, lenny

The one at KK is quite x. The cheapest quote I got the other day is $168. u know if there is other place that we can get it done or those DIY also can?

Im thinking of getting one for bb when she turns 8mths..

teddybaby,

wah. i thought my boy is boisterous enough. he also likes to jump and climb everywhere without ever being on a jumperoo/attended any playgroups, but at least he hasn't reached the stage where he has destroyed toys. thank goodness still hasn't mastered crawling otherwise i think my house will be like a warzone.. now teething behaviour even worse than usual *____________*

Lenny, pm-ed. GUG, growing up gifted, has a branch at united sq and recently at suntec. their programs r abt the same price as JG iirc

Teddy
I think all babies at this stage like to jump, my boy likes to jump too when holding him upright. He has a walker though, no jumperoo
