Shannonbaby,
Same. I started to let my boy self-feed about that age also. Same as when we are at a restaurant. Ask for a bowl and spoon/fprk, and left with him to play/eat while we eat. Work well for us too

I never mind the mess cos I don't have to face him 365/24/7 mah, only at nights and weekends, easy bissy
Tongtong,
I only ask for his "permission" for the last milk feed at night, cos it's bedtime right after that. The rest of the meal/milk time, don't ask him, just give him and he will take.
JanBB,
Ya, Dewi is pregnant also, about the same time as me. That's why we "clicked"

BTW, I got to know her through your blog list, thanks! Aiyoh, you look forever pretty, always a hot-mama. Sure you look fabulous with your tum-tum!
Kistune,
Telok Blangah good for me leh. I rather go TB than go to the city

Not because of the location that's why it's cheap, but because there is no print out at all.
RE: HIGH CHAIR
Since the 1st time we intro solid when my boy was ~6 months, he ALWAYS eats when sitting in his high chair. Without fail, be it at home or outside. Now when he sees me bring the food out from the kitchen, he automactially walks to the high chair and ask us to put him on. Don't have to strap him, never strapped him in fact, but just have to keep him busy all the while.
The only "problem" we have now is this high chair is supposed to be able to convert to a study table and chair, but don't seem we can do it now cos he still needs the high chair. So probably will need to get a new study table for him cos he loves to sit on the study chair/table while at my brother's place a couple of week before. But we haven't figured out where to put the table/chair.
