even at last sunday's LNT trial, my hb was also amazed by the number of flashcards the kiddos had to go thru during that 1hr time frame. he said he also see till 'hin hin' himself! ahahaa...

I have problems with bb Arielle digging nose as well! she'll dig her nose when she has nothing to do in her car seat.. sometimes fingernails abit long, was scratch herself also.. ai yo
I blame it on my hubby always trying to get her mucas out with his fingers. lol

chloe also woke up coughing just now at about 10.30pm. let her have milk (she only manage to drink 60ml!) n back to bed

haha... i thk at this stage, it's norm for them to explore their body parts! C also start stuffing her index finger into her nostril for no apparent reason!!
weird part is that she likes to 'poke' my eye or pinch my lips but not her own - just dig her own nostril! hahaha...

Kitty, no wake up for milk... Claire usually will drink her milk before sleeping... but it has been a nightmare for me to put her to sleep these days...
Simply refused to sleep.. She will sing, roll around, scratches herself... Or climb over me! Best part just now is she stand and point to the flats outside the window & talk... As if like describing to me what's outside... I find the situation funny & frustrating...

Kicia has no double eyelid. Kiros has double eyelid. Me wondering why kicia has none when both my hubby and I have double eyelid. She is always being mistaken as boy, and kiros as girl. till today, people strangers still see kiros as a gal.. really faint.

Poissons/MM: Matt imitates very fast. So now hv to be very careful abt teaching him stuff. Like we showed him how to stick out our tongues once. Then shit, now he keep sticking out his tongue and playing with it. No matter what we do now, this bad habit just doesnt go away. Cham...
Catherine: Good for Jovan! =) Its actually an advanced milestone cos toddlers typically can point correctly to the body part and name it around 20-24 months. Ethan's daddy loves to teach him the weirdest body parts. Apart from the usual - head, hair, eye, eyebrow, nose, nostril, ear, cheek, mouth, tongue, teeth, chin, neck, belly button, finger, fingernail, hand, toe, toenail and foot. He can also identify things like mole and armpit! haha...but for now he can only name the single syllable ones. =P

Some of the slidedecks come with sounds too so its good for tods to hear what the word sounds like. Now E bugs me to show him the flashcards on the computer and I'm trying to teach him to recognize letters and read by switching off the volume. haha. So evil right this mummy?

Weishy, i tell u hor... When Claire sees me naked, she will attempt to touch my pubic hair or my breasts... She even does that to my Mum too!

hahhaa seems like almost EVERYONE is more excited than me! Asked hb to buy the test kit back later liao...let me hv a nice nice lunch first before i see the results la. I dunno but i hv this very strong feeling its a false alarm la. Cos both my preg i felt like Sh*t during the first few weeks. I will feel so bloated n all, nauseous etc...but now i feel ok le. so the chance of it is very very low...

Weishy: All the slide decks are free for download at the website. Just go to downloads and choose which deck you want to download. I like the animal sets cos some of them include animal sounds as well! haha.
Poissons: I try to cut down now cos E likes the fast pace of the computer. Think when I use my ladybird flashcards, I don't flash fast enough. haha. But too much computer is not good for the eyes leh plus I don't want him to be a computer addict like his daddy. =P

E also has very short attention span. So i dun usually flash card for him. Prefer to let him see and feel the physical things. E knows his Eyes, nose, mouth, ear, hand, leg, stomach, neck, armpit, teeth, penis.
Ha, yesterday my MIL was asking my HB if he wants to wait for me to come home for dinner or go ahead for dinner first. E ran out from his room and said "No, mummy, wait."

Poissons: Dun worry. I can tell G is very observant and he can speak quite well (from what I heard at PDS) =) Our tods are now in a phase where they have a very short attention span so that's why they can't sit still for long.
But I read somewhere that for those tods that are allowed to watch too much of these shows, they may get less interactive in future as everything happens so fast on TV but not as fast in real life. Hence, they tend to prefer the TV/computer than form meaningful relationships (that's how those loner mentality develops). Becos of that, we limit Ethan's exposure to the TV and computer. Good also la cos if he inherits my TV addict genes, we'll die in future to pry him away from the TV...hahaha.
As for flashcards, I don't really use them so much though I have 1-2 sets. But I believe that if the baby sees it often enough, you increase the exposure of the child. But there many ways to do (eg: going for walks and discussing what you see etc.) Bottom line is you have to invest the time and the child has to have FUN in order for what you teach to be absorbed - how you spend it (eg: talking, playing, flashcards)depends on what the child likes to do best. For Ethan, it is reading story books. He can even complete the sentences for me in books now! =)

i think kiros is not jealous of kicia too. could be cos there are many of us at home. and he is being taken care of by all of us. we take turns to carry and play with him. So when one has to walk away to attend to kicia, he is perfectly fine. Plus he was barely 1 when kicia arrived so probably still 'gong gong'.
