Go for the land tour briefing... quite useful.. Initially, We didn't know that we can go on land tours on our own(just take cab fr the jetty) on our cruise to penang/phuket...

the sand on the laguna beach is super fine but my feet had a few cuts ... cos there are lot of broken corals around... in the end snorkel with my crocs on..keke

I dont know wat is your star cruise land tour iternary but if you dont go to the marine park... can just stay at the laguna beach... can snorkel there too but it was very very crowded w THE STAR CRUISE guests...

This H1N1 is real bad, worse that my hb is involve in the AYG, scare he got it and poor brig will be ... sign..

Brig is well, still down with flu/cough one in every 1 or 2 mths .. the pd mentioned that he is just sensitive. Worse now his CC has a confirmed case of HFMD.

He so talkative nowaday.

Everytime when he is in the car.. he will repeat these :' i take out my socks', ' i take out my shoes', ' i want cheerio?', 'i want biscuits?' when he reaches home ; ' where is my le le?', ' i want vitamin' etc etc.. all the i want i want ... sign..

At night when im patting him to zz. he will request for songs. ' i want ni wa wa?... i want this... his favourite now is ; dun off the light!"

now is really horrible two!!

aiyoh. dun make me paranoid leh.. last sat, we just brought aria for her virgin enrichment class! luckily only 5 children including ehr and less than 10 parents. very small class.. and we brought her to botanical garden and then marina barrage also. then sunday brought her swimming..

ariajo, my hubby lor. he's very paranoid. i just listen lah. cos i don't want to do things that make him feel uneasy. then he cannot work in peace. and i'm not that ambitious in my craft projects lah. i prefer things that i can do quickly. cos i can't wait to see the finished product. that's why so far, only ventured to do hair clips. i wanna make a bow board next, to store all the hair clips. but don't have the material now, so gotta wait.

abt ur church friend, really very sad lah..22 mths is consider stable but i know sometimes baby passed awa in 5th month.. and in this case, usually it's because of chromosom defect like turner syndrome, down, etc.. ur church friend went for her detailed scan already?

oh yeah, one of the activity in the class is paint dot dot using the fingers. when i guide aria and dipped her thumb into the paint, her immediate reaction is yeee.. and she keep asking me to clean her finger! haha.. how to do art and craft like that..

ariajo, clippies are addictive to make! esp the felt clippies (the ones on the bottom left). can really let your imagination go wild. so fun! but because i make them very small, i have difficulties cutting the felt. my scissors not small enuf. you can get plain alligator clips at people's park center. but not very cheap leh. i just ordered some online. since cannot go out, i let my fingers do the shopping. wahahaha!

ariajo, hannah didn't like paint on her hand in the beginning either. i think the sensation is quite strange. just expose aria a bit more, she will get used to it after a while.

for colouring, usually i just let hannah doodle over the paper (for cards and posters). but for craft work, i will hold her hand and help her colour.

i try and have more "sticking" activities, cos she likes that. either using glue or double-sided tape. like the ears, eyes, nose and tail of the bunny are all stuck on.

jas, actually i'm quite hopeless at drawing too. but i like making craft stuff. thankfully, my craft skills are better than my drawing skills!

but even if you can't draw, there's lots of stuff you can do with dayan. that's why i love "sticking" activities. doesn't require much skill. a lot of our "projects", i adapt from what i see the kids doing at JG, or from internet.

chintz, fortunately people have stopped saying hannah looks like a boy. think having longer hair helps.

aria, i got some paint pads a while back, made specifically for finger painting. can't remember brand, but it was being promoted at popular. they don't leave a sticky feeling, unlike paint. and very easy to clean off too. hannah loves them. maybe you can try those? a good intro to finger painting.

today my boy also cried when my hubby deposited him at the childcare. the teacher swiftly carried him in and told my hubby to go out, coz the longer the transition, the harder the child will cry. but a gd sign i feel is when a child is eating and playing well at childcare. nowadays when pick him up, he doesn't cry at all, can bid the teachers gd bye quite happily so i think he's quite well looked after that.

think for ur boy may take some time to adapt coz its not everyday affair but once he gets used, i'm sure he'll be fine. does he go for half day or full day?

glass bottles really not that sturdy? oh dear... was contemplating on using that for no.2 n thought that it won't break easily since its for babies esp. since there's no BPA content. but having the glass bottles breaking also don't make them v.safe...

i thought i must be the only one entertaining my boy in the middle of the nite, so ur boy also? sigh.. my boy will wake up a few times at nite, start to feel around for people then i need to sit beside him to pat/stroke before he goes back to sleep. how did u cope the other time when your tummy was larger? i still can entertain him now at the expense of sleep n dozing off at work but i wonder is there any way to stop this waking habit coz i don't think i can sustain in the coming months...

dreamz, you're teaching too right? must really take care of yourself, cos you're in such close contact with your students. my immunity when preggie is really low, very prone to catching bugs from others. in fact, during my last pregnancy, i also had to work from home for about a month, cos i just kept falling sick and my blood count was very low. that's why my family is not comfortable with me returning to school since my school is a H1N1 cluster.

i'm really fortunate that i'm a part-timer though, and able to get other part-timers to cover for me. and the other part-timers also don't mind, cos it's extra income for them. so it's a win-win situation for everyone.

800+ in bt timah is v v cheap lor, even if its 99LH. Mine also ard 800+. But I got mine v v cheap, coz I got str8 from developer. No way can get my price now. I heard the prices went up tp 720-800 PSF? Im not really sure oso. Heard only.
