star: alamak...i din know u were going! if not would have arranged to let the lovebirds meet...kekeke...my poor seth had to watch rae over the glass... sigh... actually i went to pass drugstore items to angel. then asked the lady if there's slot... but apparently too packed liao so we went off lo. anyway seth has been out the whole day liao so thot will let it pass lo. next round ok? seth date rae first! =D

I think it depends on babies themselves also cuz I think normally YT body temp already quite high, so 39.2 is still not very very bad for her. I mean, she is cranky but she still can eat, look around and scream at the top of her voice...

mejo: really u mean 39.2 is considered low grade for bb? i tot if bb's fever nearing 40 must bring to A&E liao. no? maybe i too gan chiong type.

Astro: must brush bb teeth clean if u give them raisins hor.. one of my fren's ger (4 yr old this yr). lots of tooth decay from eating too much raisins.

i went thru the same thing as ya ex-student...induced, pain and push in for c-section...i think blur oso the same leh...

during my stay (6days), the nurses quite ok leh...still chit chat with me..whaha...i stayed in B1..no choice de. coz I have to stayed B1 and above

just read more abt ya ex-student...i didnt cant to push..coz my cervix 'refuse' to open...but i was in great pain so no choice, push in for c-section...mum oso said that i should c-section and save me from the pain...

wow! anna got alot of toys...i think hb would probobaly do that for j if we didnt move back into my parents place..coz he told me abt his ideas before...nw due to space contraints, we cant get bulky toys for jaylen...so hb will 'remind' me that there's no room for j and his stuffs...
 
carol also similar case, induce, cervix refused to open (think dunno for like 10hrs??0 and then push in for c-sect..heheh poor carol too.

nothing to salute lah..all mummies are great! birthing process is never easy...
i merely wanted to experience the 'real' birthing process..but too bad, jaylen and my body 'didnt' allow me to experience. i was in great pain till i pleading for c-section le..
one thing i regretted alot is that i could stay consious to hear jaylen's 1st cry. i was under GA. i instructed hb to do this and that but nothing was able to be fulfilled. hb was not at my side too. haizz... sad leh
 
star: no leh..no yet sigh up... will sign when i go for a trial ba...get free trial..:p since i dun have the nlb voucher... u sign liao meh? then seth can date rae there! =D
 
mash: hmm.. ya.. i KPKB abt the epidural coz water bag break. navie. though induce cool. then fast fast chop chop. the gynae said 6 hours.. end up from 9 am to 11.52pm.. vaccuum sommore. my back almost broke into two due to the epidural.. but i think it saved me also. else i die liao.. hiaz..

we all very steady!!!.. carol.. u steady also..

hey mummies, i m very tired.. but happy today.. after the gymboree class, i stayed in Vivo for quite a while.. had dinner, went to Toysrus n Giant.. i spent so much time in Toysrus looking at toys! Ended up with a big toy for a nephew.. and 4 bottles of bubbles!! Hee, I think EJ really likes the bubbles at Gymboree so i bought.. and I also signed up for the Toysrus Star card.. siao liao.

I signed up for the Gymbo membership today.. hmm, but today's class really overcrowded and the fee really very exp leh.. think not that worth it leh.. guess i will go for more free-play gym bah. So for today's class, did u have to pay for it?

Wanted to tell u, u looked so pretty today! I wanted to go out and tell u actually, but because i was wearing socks and not so conveniet to walk in-and-out.. then after a while, i saw u left liao.. so no chance to tell u.. your curls really made u look very pretty and sweet.

Today Leia very good leh.. no crying and no stranger anxiety.. good good.. hey, we also got a bit lost in the carpark. We went there by another lobby and couldn't find our car.. end up we went back up to level 1, and then went through the same lobby we first came up by.. then we got to our car. in B1. haha.

you had to induce because your waterbag broke? then why the epidural will break your back? I don't understand leh..
 
Autum: i did not pay today. I used my membership voucher for the class. Hey u paid ah? i tot u signed up, cannot use the voucher to offset meh?
 
autum: yes.. coz water bag broke before all the contractions came.. in fact. if not for the leaking water bag.. i wun have notice i was in labour. coz i had no pain for the first 3 hours at all.. just slight cramps..

gynae suggested that i take the epidural. and from what i read up. induce will be more painful.. so very silly. think induce induce lor. coz leaking waters damm irritating. so take epidural lah. chop chop 6 hours done..then want to make it for 1st jan bb mah.. chose epidural lioao lor. dunno what i was thinking lah..

end up no. stretch all the way to 11.52 pm.. epidural dose quite strong.. no feelings at all wasist down. all numb. and lie there. can't even move. back all sng liao. can't twist or turn. pure angony.. then need push. can't .. how to? they say imagine u pooing.. i want to ask. " who poos lying down?".. then so end up all contorted up. miser push my neck, legs raised up in the stirups.. bend and push. almost dieded. not from pain. but from numbness..
 
autum: if waterbag breaks.. bb at risk of infection. if not birthed within 24 hours.. so normally they would suggest u induce if waterbag burst..
 
autumn: ouch! hit my head on the ceiling! hee..thanks! :D i was too busy lookin at my dil so neva had eyes for everyone..:p saw ej grabbing some other bb's ball thou...hee... had to leave quick before seth clean the whole glass for gymbo! me too had trouble finding gymbo the first time... i was so upset when the info counter says there's no gymbo... n the security guard at the 3rd level oso says he dunno of one... kaoz..end up realised it's under harbourfront..but very disgusted at the poor 'knowledge' of the staff... gymbo was right across the sky garden from the stupid guard! lucky astro's miser remembered planet fitness... (he must have been eyeing the giant fish tank! or the ppl inside!)

i oso induced..one week before due date..coz jaylen big mah..scare he will b too big for natural birth...since cervix open abit, gynae said ok to induce so went ahead...by the 3rd day, cervic still not open big enuff..infact, opened slightly when i first admitted. so no choice, gynae broke my waterbag at 8am and put on drip..wa kraos! so pain when my water bag broke...immediately called for epi!! but by 5pm plus (i think), things went haywire..i was in pain liao..they pumped in quite alot of epi...there's a adaptor..so they shut off the machine and manually pump in..still no use...
actually, i very scare when they ask me down to insert the pill to quicken the opening for my cervic..coz the lubricant they using, though water based (i think), i am allergy to that leh...very itchy...nurse has to sponge me to wash since i cant get off the bed for 2hrs!
 
stupid tituteo.. i told him one. to tell u. remember? .. and he not eyeing them. i was.. boo...so much so for the reply huh. thought how stylo u can be ..haha..

I didn't pay for the class.. can straight away offset from the membership fee of $50.. I was just thinking if the class is $34, then not worth leh.

mine was also induced and i also took epi.. and my epi dose was also very high.. and my blood level drop dramatically becos of the epi.. so much that all the alarms went off.. n the nurses all buzzing around me trying to lower my blood pressure.. anyway, I didn't experience all those pain that u mentioned leh.. as in, my back wasn't sng.. I suspect it's due to the position of the baby.. then the pushing part, ya, the nurses all tell us the same thing one.. try to imagine pushing out the hardest pc of shit in your life.. hahahah.. i remember i found it funny and smiled when the nurse told me that.. and surprisingly, altho i can't really feel it, I tried to gek.. and after 3 pushes, EJ comes out liao.. even my gynae was surprised it was so easy.. hee.. maybe it's good to have constipation then we will know how to gek!
 
going to bed now. Nite all, dun stay up too late.. aiyo just realised those of us left here now are the SAHM..hehe no wonder can chat so late.

u mean u went to the hospi to induce, and only on the 3rd day, then the gynae broke your waterbag?? then u stayed in hospi for 2 days for nothing?? hmm, mine wasn't like that leh.. I went in the night before, put a pill inside.. then nothing happened for the night (i slept in the delivery room), then next morning at 8am, my doc came to prick the waterbag. Before he prick, he checked n told me my cervix a bit dilated (3 cm).. then after he prick, he told me should be within the day (few hours).. I deliverd at 1+pm.. so he quite zun lor.
