wau, the Giraffe so exp one ah.. i very giam gu.. won't buy la.. my toys hor, so far mostly all people give or second-hand from a friend! haha.. my cheapskate lor.. Hey, you can actually PM Pink.. she will get your queries..

Anyway, u asking abt shipping rite.. usually u just need to add abt S$3.50 to each piece you order from JE. Pink has ordered many many times liao.. and so far it always works out to be roughly that amount.. so for each dress or top, just add S$3.50 for each pc and that will give you your estimated cost for that pc.

I fed Kaiser wif plum yday he loves it! I bought those from Korea ones, oh so sweet! Last wk, i got those frm Italy which are more sour. U gals can try cos Kaiser poopoo soon after tat :p

i think you can buy the orchard from gerber... cos it's a combi of prunes and berries, quite nice and helps to poo leh... me now going to blend my pear and peach for ah boy liao... last week Giant got discount on baby food leh, dun know if this week still hv anot....

re: mee suah
this is wat u can do.. cook the mee suah in boiling water, till soft.. drain the mee suah thru a sieve.. WASH the mee suah with tap water 2x.. put the mee suah into hot water and drain. add to soup stock and cook per normal... u can do a taste test. before u wash in tap water and after.. the washing makes a big big diff...

I went gymboree at the marine parade centre just now. Had wanted to go harbour front initially but found out the playgym was only from 1-2pm today.. No chance to go toysrus to get the jumping balls liao..

The weather is quite crab hor??

ya, got few types. Usually I'll get those in transparent package instead of those in boxes. Cos I tried the boxes ones before & they are really salty & doesn't taste nice. If worried about too salty can use pax's method to boil, drain & wash the meesua. It won't be that salty after that.

The original price of the giraffe was $99.90 so at $79.90's cheaper. hahaha. I also find that it's a waste to get too many toys for them now cos they outgrow it fast but just cannot stop myself. Easily tempted ... hehehe.

Rainy day..i stayed home all day to do chores with hubby.. bb Chloe super naughty i scream at her! dun wanna zz only zz 30 mins max! for 2x a day only! Grrr...
 
I'm back,, Shagged!! LONG DAY

went KKH to visit my ex STUDENT (yes.. student, 18 yrs old) who just gave birth.. wah she looked so shacked.. and pale.. coz long hours of induction and still C section.. wah. i salute any mothers here who went through the same trial to to deliver ur bbs.. no joke.. mine only indcution under epidural. felt shitty liao.. dun say 'waste' of energy dealing with pain and another round of pain for C section recovery.. haiz.. poor girl.. i hope she recovers fast..
hmmm KKH.. nursing standards.. much to improve.. ok.. maybe B2 ward.. how is it possible for her to go home tomorrow (third day tomorrow) when she is so weak and in so much pain?? .. she was also told must walk by 2 pm alone.. huh.. what is this crap man?.. ... and so stuffy the ward.. all the mothers look so gloomy.. hmm.. maybe my perception..

teng poor thing.. coz i definitely had to rush for 12 - 2pm slot else can't visit my student liao.. interrupted nap.. cranky and crying coz keep waking and not sleeping properly for his lunch nap.. then concussed till all the way to marine parade gymboree.. then wake up at 4pm.. hmmm..

bbgirl: what time were u there? was there from 4pm to 5pm. teng not as possessed. but was tired.. so half the time playing.. half the time shouting.. haiz..

then i am VERY impressed with teng today.. decided to test water and drop his 230pm milk feed.. (was on 4 milk feeds) and just give him water .then he was actually ok.. and dong all the way till 5pm for solids. then 630 whallop a bottle of 240ml of milk ah!! plus all the warm water we added to keep the milk warm on the way home.. bet he took almost 300ml of liquid!! (dun forget his solids was at 5 lei) wah...

maybe more impressed with GF.. was told to drop this afternoon feed.. around this time.. and indeed teng no appetite for 630 feed these few days.. drank only 120 ml very unwillingly.. now dropped the afternnon feed.. much much better the drinking.. not so frustrating liao. he chop chop finished everything ..drop to the last drop.. wah. so hungry.. wah.. ok.. better do something to the 1030 feed of 60ml.. JUST drop it.. hmmm.. and then he only on 2 milk feeds a day liao.. ok..

wah.. shacked.. stoned..
 
btw.. the KKH nurses kept telling my student.. she can deliver ("push") when her cervix is dilated till 3 cm?!!!.. what nonsese is this??.. then when till 3cm.. tell her 5 cm can push liao.. then when 5 cm.. (already dunno how many hours passed liao)..say taking too long. must C section... poor girl went through the whole pain ordeal from 2pm (was told to induce when bb is just ONE day late from EDD.. what;s the rush here huh??? ).. and 'misled' to 4 40am , C section..

alamak.. no wonder she looks so so tired.. haiz.. if like that. why not C section first??.. and is there a need to induce when both bb and mum fine ?? only one day late leh... i just feel that KKH dunno rushing for what like that.. haiz..

then all the relativeas all there talking.. and relatives of other mummies also talking.. poor bb fussing.. her mum and relatives passing the bb from one person to another.. all forgotten how to take care of bb liao.. unwrap and swaddle back.. so many times.. carry and put down.. wah.. think her bb is going to cry a lot liao.. unless they put a system to taking care in place.. was trying very hard to ZIP my mouth.. and not impose my interpreation on why bb crying.. tried VERY hard. believe me.. :p

Pax: yalor..unmoved.. so pls believe that i am not exxagerating the situation.. he really butt stuck to floor one hor...i think he is more of scared leh.. now he better in holding on to the cot and crusing. but still very hesitant to start his first step.. then afterthat.. on liao. always looks as if hanging onto dear life kind.. haiz.. then ya.. not pulling to stand. though he now moving round and round on his butt lah.. turn 360 degreses.. and shouting also lah. but ya.. no miracle happeningn as yet.. he is interested in trying to pull the things off the shelves/coffe table. but def not pulling to stand with them.. in fact when i place him standing, hanging onto the edges of these surfaces.. he also scared scared kind.. haiz..

PAx: btw, i was thiking this morning.. is it possible for teng to 'bypass' the stage of pulling onto something to stand.. and jump to what Leia is trying to do now.. - trying to stand without any support.. u get my drift? as in.. pushing palms onto the floor.. and just lift his butt off and then straighten his legs.. and stand??... hmmm.. u heard of any bbs standing this way, skipping the stage of pulling to stand altogether?

super duper tired after today's session.
bad day..hubby went hair cut couldnt come back in time, so i drove alone. everything was fine when we drove there.
oh Leia enjoyed the session very much, for the first time, she's not afraid of strangers. played with other babies and lean onto starfruit.
tho' i find that there are too many babies in the 1 session and not many activities, may as well join playgym.
anyway big problem came when i couldnt locate my car! i remember the zone and level, but didnt know the lobby number! alamak in the end asked this carpark uncle to find my car...while searching, leia was super cranky, kept wanting me to carry...gave her milk etc..in the car, kept crying, and the queue out was super slow and long, wow super stressful, all i wanted to do was to reach home soon..so just chiong!

by the way, how come sometimes after leia lie in the car seat, her head will be slanted to 1 side and she has difficulty getting back in straight position? did i miss out anything?
 
Astro: We were there at 2pm. Had wanted to go harbour front as i thot the playgym was from 1-3pm. Discovered they have lessons at 2pm on Sundays, so called up and found out Marine Parade has playgym all the way til abt 5:30pm.

This time round, Anna surprised me by climbing up the slide with "holes" for grabbing onto. She actually knew how to grab onto them on her way up.. Impressed.. And she's much more comfortable with the equipment now, can go through the tunnel on her own and emerge the other side. Our task is to teach her how to turn her body and use her legs first when she wants to descend from a high place.. Not easy...

As for her mouthing.. I think it's also that she's quite tiam jiak..

ya.. and teng also enjoyed going down the slide on the sheepskin.. heehee.. but unlike anna lah. we need to 'move' him round.. coz no crawl mah.. workout for us also.. a few times. just sat him down and play with balls. heehee. he was still happy.. haha.. his butt really cannot move one leh.. hmmm
and the moment i see tunnel in the obstacle. dun have to try liao. straight away lift him up, bypass that tunnel.. and then continue on the other side.. ha.. haiz..

teng also big eater lah. but no mouthing mah.. no correlation here lah..
 
Pink: You can buy those u-shaped head suppoer to keep Leia's head in place in the carseat. But I will also add that at this age, they don't need that anymore. We've kept away the one for Anna..
The baby's body is very flexible, they don't feel the strain even though it may appear to us they're twisted up in a weird and uncomfortable position. Don't have to worry..

We got lost in the carpark at vivo before as well. In the end I waited at the aircon lobby and my hubby went to look for the car first to pick me up.. Buay tahan.. That carpark is too big and unfamiliar..
 
Astro: Yah, the slides are so fun.. We made her crawl up on one side and slide down the other. Then crawl up on the same side and slide down the other.. This way not so siong for us..

She likes the balls too.. I kept kicking the ball forward and she kept chasing it.. And you know why? Cos she wants to have a taste of it! Sighz..
 
btw, me also got the hungry caterpillar by Eric Carle.. coz saw it at popular that day.. 20% discount.. since like strongly recommended so just anyhow buy one.. comes with the caterpillar soft toy.. and heehee. very cute leh. the book.. got holes in the food that the caterpillar ate one.. teng so engrossed at poking the holes.. haha.. fun.. any other books of such kind, mejo/bbgirl?.. got things to poke at one.. haha. i thin khe will like the cheerios bk also..

Hey, I think we're referring to different tunnels leh.. Talking abt one that palced on the mat itself. It's at the bottom and across the 2-sided slide set-up we were talking abt.. The rainbow coloured one.. There is also another tunnel there - a shorter one; and an older child can go inside the tunnel and the parent can roll the tunnel on the floor with the child in the tunnel.. Anna climbs to and fro that tunnel as well..

Astro: See why I was complaining that Anna mouths everything! I tried very hard to tell her not to.. She listens but is quite absent-minded, thinks she forgets what I say on purpose..

And at the same time saying "no" to her, I'm very conscious that this will be one of the first words she'll pick up.. Next time, whenever she answers me, she'll go "no" first before the actual answer. I've witnessed this in one of the kids in my church..

That's why I always tell my hubby that we she not keep saying no to her.. sighs...

My playyard? I have 8 panels.. We bot 2 sets.. I think I bot at $115 or something like this lah.. But I bot a lot of other things from Winnie to get this price..

When Anna was smaller (literally), we set up only 6 panels. When she's able to crawl at abt 4-5mths, I added 2 more panels.. I set it up 3 x 1 with the 2 gates at the 2 opp ends..

Astro: Ok.. Will remember that when I receive the books.. But I think the most famous book of his is the caterpillar book.. I think the others won't have as much interaction as what you expect - such as poking and playing with the soft toy..

But I know what QQ will do/say. Prepare your own softtoy lor.. Like if the book is abt a bear, then you go get your own bear and let Teng muddle with it while you read to him lor etc...

Astro: For 1 set, only 1 adult can be inside the playyard with the baby. It will be squeezy but manageable. Get the idea??
Yes, each box comes with 4 panels - 2 plain blue, 1 activity in blue and 1 red gate. The first pic I took, you can see the 2 activity panels on the extreme ends.. I took out and banished the 2 phone receivers frm the panels..

Astro: Can't see the horizontal bar from my pics above. Refer to the pic in the link. I was referring to the one horizontal bar at the bottom of the panel - this one anna will climb onto sometimes..
