As for kindermusik, only 1 parent can accompany baby in but I guess other parent can peep in frm outside. They hv glass doors but the waiting area is quite narrow.

Aiyo, when compare to SG population's babies of the same age, he is below average so is considered underweight lah. Anyway it's the PD who says he is under weight but as he also said it doesn't matter as long as he is thriving (btw he was born quite a big baby (3.8kg leh)). I'm ok with his size cos I m d one who has to carry him everyday

LiL, he is slightly older than dec babies cos hes born in nov 18.
Hes taking cereals for breakfast. Porridge for lunch and dinner. 3 to 4 feeds of 180ml FM.
Will give him some snacks or fruits in between.
I never really overfed him but maybe he inherit my bigger bones and build I think.

ethan has been sleeping thru e nite for quite some time liao... if i miss his feeding time, he will wake up at 4am for feed then sleep again... cannot imagine if he sleeps alone... happens a few times liao... in e day when he having his nap, seems to know he is alone in the room... will wake up even sleeping only for 15-30mins... cfm alone liao will cry... he will even ehh ehh a few times to see if got ppl ans him b4 he goes to sleep... dats y i say he super lack of security... he still young lah... will train him to sleep alone when he is older... mb when he knows how to walk n get down e bed safely...

ethan is using the 6mth+ teat hole liao... but still have to cut the hole wider... 6mth+ still too small, milk flow too slow... now using the 4th one liao cos this chor loh mum keep forgetting to wash e teat gently resulting in hole breaking too wide... but he has been using think for abt 3 mths liao... this bb wants everything to be fast... if too slow he will make noise... haiz... wait a while oso cannot... will finish his milk in 5 mins...

lil, wow, he was big at birth! anyway, its no fun lugging a big pack of rice around town. tim should be around 10+kg now and my back is breaking every time i carry him... he has been using the 6mth+ teats since 6 mths and so far didn't enlarge. seems ok for now.

zion, what i do is to make very sure he is in deep sleep liao then i go away. so sometimes i'm with him for like 20-30minutes then leave him alone. i let him sleep on a mattress on the floor now so in case he gets up on his own, he can crawl to find me.

Ur boy is definitely eating v well. Mine is taking 2 porridge a day plus 5 feeds of 120-150ml of milk. I tot that is quite good liao but dunno why still so skinny until can c ribs lor. Maybe he is so active he burns the calories quickly.

Aiyo...that's good. My boy take 150ml will take 1bt 1hr to finish. N usually will leave abt 20-30ml unfinished. I hv tried so many times to use bigger teat hole but hor he will choke. Think he sucks v hard. mayb I shd just continue even tho he chokes so that he will learn to control the flow. Usually I c him choke n milk dribble all over I quickly change teat back.

my gal head circumference oso small...only at 10%; but her weight oso at 10% la.. so oklah, kinda proportional. else head big, body small will be kinda weird...

she's oso still on pigeon S and M size teat. she doesnt like fast flow since nb. she will totally reject drinkin if we use L size. so long as she is drinking... i dont care what sized teat

my gal oso must have ppl in the room when she zzz. sometimes wake up look around.. if got ppl she goes back to zzz, if dont haf.. then cry liao.

phew.. my gal back to normal for her afternoon nap again! can zzz about 2 hours. but for the past 3 nites, she been wanting to drink a lot at nite (12midnite - 90ml; 3am - 120ml; 5am - 120ml)

only when you registered bb before 1 mth old at the polyclinic then you need not Q for checkups and jab appointment.

polyclinic will do all the follow up appointment. else you will need to Q and wait for hours like the rest.

as long as PD/nurse at polyclinic din highlight tat Meg is underweight, i am happy liao.

Meg is drinking from NUK bottle and using 6 to 18mths teats (their biggest teats).

Meg loves it. she will push and then walk by herself a little and then push the walker again (non stop) up and down our corridor leading to the bedrooms.

how do yr bb crawl? tx crawl like a lepoard style on 2 hand and 2 legs type but my cil's bb like those swim type, body/tummy flat on the gnd then crawl. like that not so gd cos bb 's clothes will be dirt easily.

thks for the update on the MMR. a mummy told me that MMR jab contains a chemical substance that is also found in egg yolk. If baby is severely allergic to egg yolk, the doc will advise not to have the jab on the baby just as yet.

but even now, we start to feed bb egg yolk (told my mum liao to boil hard boil egg but give little portion only) does it mean if no allegy after sometimes, the bb can take the mmr jab liao??

hmm...mummy herself did not try to cut meg 's hair huh?

wow, meg develop very fast loh(even she is yougner than tx by 3 days).

yup, tx tried the hard boiled egg yolk on sat. scape out 1/4 of it and mixed it with her fish/potato porriage.

bread, wow...can give bread meh...anyway, in fact, last time, during tx's 5mth, mum gave her a bit of bread. is the bread white not wholemeal type??

yup, in fact most diapers work for tx but dryer not so suitable for her cos she will get red line over her thigh. wow Ethan so much wee wee one...wee till can leak... pet pet is having a promotion at NTUC now loh so is the polyclinic pharmcy. polyclinic cheaper than Ntuc by 10 cents but must buy 3 pcks($36.95).

ai-yo, similar to tx, tx was on yao lan since 4mth when I return to work. mum cannot ta han and said she can't cope without yao lan. she will mwntion that yao lan is gd etc, bb very fast slp, last time, I also slp yao lan etc. y'day, I just told her that tx is gg to be 1 in the coming few mth, dunno the portable yao lan 9is yr portable type) can withstand its weight. she said other auntie grandson also slp till 3 yr old man...and even said can ask ppls to come and punch hole onto the ceiling and use those tradition type of yao lan.

tx's depend on her mood, if she is very tired then she can fall alsp on her own after flip her and there. if not, she needs to rock to slp.

haa..talking abt diapers, recently, bought 4 packets of L size huggies cos it is on promotion mah. I have let tx tried huggies free sample b4 so then since it is on promotion so buy it. now my mum 's plc has 3 packets of L size diaper and 1 L drypants ( 1 NTUC, 1 huggies dry & 1 pureen) and my hse got 5 pck of L size diapers(3 huggies,1 NTUC and 1 pureen) .all kept in the storerm. no worries, have called up the number found at the packet and the person told me that diaper no expiry date, as long as bb can wear it is ok. but of cos, must check if there is an yellow dots before use loh.I am thinking of buying the nepia dryoant liao after thur cos after counting the amt, it is cheaper than drypants by 2 cents. since it is on promotion now, so might buy it for tx to use ( tx never use nepia pants b4). me more kiasu....

yup, with regard to the appt for mmr jab, yr mil is correct.tx also has fixed a appt with polyclinic for her mr jab in mar 08 too. which polyclinic u go?

the nurse supposed to do all action as stated in the healthbook but bec tx is crying loudly so she skip those and ask the qns instead. but she do test the hearing test and observe tx whether she know how to grab the small cube fr one hand to another. anyway, I took chilk sick leave one (got to refer to doc then can take).

have u use the photobook service before? it's a oversea service leh. wondering how many photos can it take? I have over 200 photos man...so far, i only print 120+ photos (tx's 0 - 4 mth) and gg to reprint the rest of it and was thinking of doing the photo album from my preggie (photo taken during preggie fr 5 mth onwards and also include the ultrasound scan 'photo') to her first yr using the normal photo album bought fr big/popular bookshop.

sorry, i must have missed out the part that it's the PD that concluded E is underweight

maybe coz E is a big bb at birth compared to Meg who is juz of average size.
tats why tho E's weight is not considered small yet looking at the chart, he is....

regarding diaper size, Meg is still on M but Pet Pet cutting is not very big. once i finito my M, i am gonna let her wear L.

Nepia is still ok. tink she can still wear for a few mths.

juz sharing, if E is drinking his milk within 30mins time, tink you can still continue to use teats under 6 mths.
as long as E dun suck n suck till tired yet cant drink much.

Hi hi everyone!
Been really busy these few days. Hb came back after 1.5 weeks away, but had a severe case of food poisoning. Fortunately he made it back to Singapore... Then FIL had a scheduled minor surgery yesterday, while R also came down with blocked nose. And now I am having a bad throat... aiyoh.

That must have been a growth spurt week for Regina. Now that she's having a blocked nose, the milk intake went down a bit. She is getting much better with her solids, though she still hates fruits. When she was drowning 40 plus oz of milk a day, she was also stuffing herself full with porridge, rice cereal and finger snacks. But her poo is very dry coz she doesn't like water or fruits. As for the rash, might be from the tiny weeny bit of egg yolk I gave her earlier.

haiz... yest ethan slept at 12 midnite wor... now this mummy got dark rings liao... haiz... mb he sleep too much in e daytime liao... morning wake up at 7 when i bring him to mil place, sleep at 8am n wakes up at 10am when fil comes back... bathe, eat play with fil a while then sleep at 12nn... wakes up at abt 1.30pm when fil goes out... eat n play a while and sleep at 3pm... then wakes up at only 6.30pm... eat n bathe then wait for me to come back... after dat he super active ar... made me chase him all rd e bed (scared he fall off e bed mah)... then bil comes back says hb went back hm to bathe first then come over (bil in hb work same place)... ethan was so cranky, keep ehh ehh-ing, making mil v frustrated... then she turn ard n nag at me... aiyoh... y he has to go back bathe first??? can come mil place eat liao then faster bring ethan hm liao lor... then see hb liao quarrel.... go back hm quarrel again... ask him can look after ethan last nite say no again... say he still need to work wan lor... wah biang... liddat win liao lor... then i no need work lah... then he say not happy resign lah... argh... so angry... ask me resign then where got enuff money to survive???? then he say if dun wanna take care of ethan at nite then each fork out $100 more ask mil take care... see... he like not ethan's daddy lor... dun even wanna take care of son... know how to play only... change diaper oso can find excuses... say angle not right lah... v difficult to change lah... wah... liddat i super mum liao lor... any angle oso can... useless daddy... now my eyes really cannot open liao... argh!!!

Actually for us, I dun wanna celebrate BB's birthday, we will just go out with my parents for a dinner meal.
Of coz my grandma would want a celebration, but my parents and us doesn't like to 'trouble' my relatives.

Will just go for Starcruise in Jan after the peak school holidays period. Can relax and no one to disturb coz no phone calls (good if you keep getting phonecalls from work). Got pool, easier, cleaner and food provided ;p

these few days training ethan to sleep on his own without rocking... so next time when he older n heavier dun have to rock him to sleep... if not my arms will break ar... (cos my hse no yaolan)
