wah... alot to catch up aft 1 day not reading the forum..

heee~ not fast lah... now time pass so fast for me.. so i better plan earlier.. mine is a small party too.. booked SIL's function room bcoz dun want to clean up the house aft the party.. hehehehe..
PH wearing L size not bcoz he's fat.. but hor.. he got red mark on his tight if i tighten the waist area.. but if i loosen the waist area, he got no hips to support the diaper n his diaper will drop.. so got to upsize to L so tt can fasten the waist area n tight won't be red red..
JT looks so guai during her haircut.. so cute..

i juz started a mini proj.. there's empty wall in my house.. bought ikea cheap cheap photo frame n frame up PH's photo.. will be sticking them onto the wall.. den i thinking of learning photoshop so tt i can do some nice collage of PH's photos...
so nice, can go cruise.. we wanted to go cruise in jan initially.. but hubby sch reopen liao.. so we settle with hotel stay instead..

me pumping 3 times now.. usually it's 6am, 1pm and 9-10pm.. each time pump 1/2 hour.. else i won't hav enough milk for the day.. i still can't bear to pump less leh.. already heartpain when my ss drop fr plentiful to so little.. hai~~ hubby oso very supportive of me continue pumping.. so i guess i will continue until i really no ss lor...

i let jav sleep on those normal single-size mattress. i also place a piece of "ciao xi" below the mattress so tat to avoid the dampness on the floor to get into jav's body.
jav also dun sleep well in his playpen n woke up often. therefore i decided to let him sleep on the mattress on the floor.

my hub also not veri useful in taking care of jav. but he help mi wif the hse work, like vacuum, mop the floor, wash javier clothes, milk bottle. Mayb u can get ur hub to help wif the these chores also.

letting bb sleep on the matress, won't Jav flip and move out of the mattress. I have ever tried to placed 2 single mattress join together at pil's hse and then co-sleep with tx.while this sleeping mummy doze off, when I woke up after hearing a eh eh eh sound, tx is at the entrance of the door.

thks. do yr hubby help in hsehold too? every night, hubby will sterlise the milk storage bottle and pump for me.heng man or else I dun have time to do that. sometimes, i do take a short 1 hr nap before I woke up and wipe dry the bottles and then proceed to my pump.

me too, I also won't do photbook for tx. cos like my wedding photo album, already 'dump' inside my storage rm to 'rot' or collect dust. like what sh mentioned, we also frame up the photo and then stick onto the wall(use bluetact). in my mbr, our rom and wedding photo are pasted onto the wall liao.

oic, thks for sharing the pumping time. currently, I pumped at 6am, in betw 1230-1250 (after my lunch), 7pm and then 12 midnight.last time, i pumped for half an hr but now only pump for 15-20 mins, only pump out all the milk I have and then stop liAO and dun wait for second let down which can be done in another 10 mins. my hubby now not supportive liao, ask me to stop loh.
ask u with regard to the ice brick, I have tried the ice brick liao and carry the ebm for abt 3hr+. the ebm is still cooling after that. wondering can the ebm be taken out for long if ice brick is included into the cooler bag? previously, what I know is ebm must not be taken out for more than 6hrs if not, it will spoilt so wondering if got the ice brick, can it take out more than 6hrs?? any idea??
also if the ice brick has been used for that current day and it has not mel and u dun intend to use the next day, will you place it back to freezer or let it melt outside? any advice? thks.

zion, keep cool! my sis was still saying that day (cos i was talking abt bringing kate to taka mooncake fair using carrier) that women everything (obstacle) also can, while men, everything also canot! ethan really sleep alot during daytime! is he very cranky when he sleep around midnight? if yes, then maybe he is sleepy but too playful to wana sleep. did u grind the 5 grain before cooking it or just dump the whole thing inside? does it take a longer time to cook than normal porridge? i got one pack but have not started yet me have recovered liao... and hb help out these 2 days for one of the midnight feeds. u check with my pt cleaner re ur location, cos my pl also abt 1 hr from her home she is also ok with it...

JT just broke her own record yesterday. I think for the entire day, her milk intake was only abt 200ml!!! those are the ones I managed to mix into her cereals. She totally reject drinking milk, latch or EBM. She loves drinking water using her sippy cup, but when she taste that it's EBM or isomil, she'll pui pui everything out. I'm so angry and exhausted..... i mean since she can drink water thro the cup, means that her gums are not that painful rt?? Wat's up with this milk rejection thing?!?!?! Yesterday, the whole day was spent trying to coax her to drink milk in all ways and means, then after tat is major clean up.... it was repeated like 6 times yesterday... so it was basically hell for both JT and me.... she was basically crying and crying the whole day, and I was just going beserk.... Discussed with hubby liao, if she really dun wan milk, then we just have to make her isomil more concentrated and mix into the cereal... anyway, she's willing to drink lots of water.... Think I'll stop forcing her to drink.. aiyo....

Maybe they hv a soy version(???). My PD asked us to give E tat when he was on hunger strike. We also had to up his solid food intake to 3 times a day.

argh!!! help... ethan is super cranky last nite... slept only at 1am!!! rock him oso cannot, off the lights oso cannot... in e end let him crawl ard e bed ehh ehh-ing then doze off by himself at 1am... omg... was so tired was drowsy till ethan dozed off... cant even remember wat he did... luckily hb was so guai he help me look after... he oso help to prepare milk, refill milk powder container n wash bottle last nite... b4 he sleep dat is... tot he really wanna help me this time... but in the end, when ethan slept n i dozed off beside him, hb went out... said to find more money earning lobang... dunno real anot... not the first time liao... told him b4 if he go out must remember to wake me up went he comes back... but then last nite he din wake me up!!! not the first time oso... then in the end ethan missed his feed... when i finally wake up at 5.30am n try to feed him, he rejected!!! omg!!! he hasnt have any milk since 10+pm... really scared he will have a lot of wind in his stomach... haiz... think its teething... when his teeth coming out??? then when i bring him to mil place at abt 7.15am told mil he hasnt had milk yet... i prepare milk liao mil feed him he actually finished e milk in 5 mins, sleeping... then mil say he will be sleeping v well with stomach full now...

ILs decided to wean him off the walker liao... haiz... must wait until really got accident then decided its dangerous... but thank goodness his eyes r not hurt...

u r lucky... a pc of paper oso can get tx attention... it can get ethan's attention e most 5 secs... recently found something dat really can catch ethan's attention... a musical lantern... catch his attention for 30 secs... sometimes diaper change plus clothing change...

lucky u... ur hb still help doing housework... mine only knows how to sit on e sofa n shake legs... getting more n more like my dad whom i dun like... cos he made my mum looks like huang lian po... we have already came to an agreement b4 we get married dat we will share e housework... i even wanted to draw a timetable... but he say no need lah... we juz remember when to do wat lor... but in e end i was e one doing everything till now... even when i was preggie i still have to do... he only help to wash clothes once in a while... i still have to wash e toilet with my big tummy... after i give birth he a bit more hardworking will mop e floor once every week... now i have to do everything by myself... i can only do at night when everyone goes to sleep so i m now super sleep deprived...

ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!! u just reminded me o my 'dark times' when mandy 1st started teething! hhehehe... but seriously, i noe how extremely tough it is. erm, my advise is 2 let her haf her way. now tt she's bigger liao, milk intake is not tt impt. so dun force it. i noe it's easier said than done cos SO MUCH is at stake. it may end up ruining ur entire day or nite. it took me a tremendous amt o courage 2 let go oso. but i cldn't take it liao anyway. if u see tt she's already developed a dislike or phobia 4 feeding time, then hafta let go liao. must win bk her trust 1st. let her tink tt feeding time is nt a torture or a battle. or else nothing wld work liao. good luck!

whenever anyone say bye bye to her, her head will turn to the door. yup, scare me man when I suddenly found she is not beside me. she even smile at me. ai-yo, I scared she just no licence one, flip or sit then just turn over and then knock her head onto the floor (few times liao), stare at me and then burst into tear.
same same, need help also while pumping. usually, when hubby not ard on sat morning - noon then I will make tx slp first. if she dun slp then I will just carry her and then sit on the high chair. now, scared liao cos leave her on my bed, she digged out of the pillow and then squeeze thru it and dropped with a thud sound on the floor. it happened twice even when she slp and then sudden wake up while I was pumping.

her legs still wobbly, walk a bit with support then sit down (like her backside very heavy) and then crawl liao.

tx also faced this problem too. her intake of milk on weekend is only 300+ so I needed to let her excersie more (let her flip, crawl etc) so tha she will be hungry to consume milk.

dun say u useless mummy, every mummy also learn how to take care of bb mah,...we are not born super, man and woman are equal now (but man dun think that), taking care of kids and hsehold etc shd be shared unless the man has the traditional thinking that woman must be the one who can stand in the kitchen and also out of workplace type. dun stress yrself for the sake of Ethan, cheers....

wow, Hayley 's intake of food is gd man....tx dun seem to able to take so much ebm in one shot (200-240) except first feed (but recently, need to coax her as she took long time to finish unlike last time, with this 240ml, she can finish within 5 mins).
wow, her every intake of food include fruit and veg leh....tx only eat banana during dinner time. on sun, I gave her apple. like what kimi has said, she also eat tripple qty tx eat. at my mum 's plc, she has 5 milk feed (4 feed of 125ml and 1 feed of 150ml) + 3 solid meal (include 2 teaspoon of apple/museli cereal for morning, eu ren sang brown rice for lunch, biscuit for tea time and 1 big bowl of porriage for dinner).
ask u what is the feeding interval time u give to hayley between dinner feed and last feed?

went to toysrus sales at safra today.. so disappointing.. no toys suitable for PH's age.. more for older kids.. hai~ chanced upon FOX sales at safra too.. ended up buying clothes for PH again..

yesterday nite, mi went to my colleague's wedding diner. Entrusted jav to my hub care. Before i left for the wedding diner, hub fed jav his diner. i also instructed him to last milk- feed him around 9pm to let jav sleep. I smsed hub around 8plus to see how he coping wif jav. hub told mi jav was playing happily wif him toys Then smsed hub again at 9.30pm to check if jav zzz already. Hub smsed mi @ 10pm tat jav cheated him for milk n refused to zzz. hub no choice continued play wif him. Told hub to lay side by side wif jav n pat him to sleep. After the diner ended around 11pm, hub smsed mi tat jav finally fell asleep on his own as he was too tired. SIGH...hub too dependent on mi to take care of jav. i am the one who tuck jav to sleep by 9 every nite. my hub was telling mi he dun hav the patience to pat jav to sleep.

I found that u have done a good job.. ethan seems to have a very well balance diet, veg/fruit/fish for nearly each meal. My mum do not have time to prepare porridge during weekday, so she got to make do with whatever frozn puree I gave her for Hayley's meal. Last 2 wk, I started to cook fish porridge at home during wkend for Hayley and so glad she like it too and finish all

Hayley is fully exhausted today. Coz after the class, we rushed to another friend's place to visit her newborn bb boi. She is so tired since missed her afternoon nap and finally dozed off at 8pm i/o 9pm.

Hmmm, i've decided not to sign hannah up for kindermusik...i think it's erm...not interesting enough for her at this stage. I guess she's used to variety at BJG and this is 45 mins of what BJG has about 15mins of (plus other things). Of cos, it's a good program too, but probably some other time. There's not enough physical movement/exploration for her. I'm going to try a trial at Gymboree next week.
The Julia Gabriel class was quite fun too (thanks OCH for arranging for that!
) as it as a variety of activities to keep bbs engaged. My hb and i were so impressed by the teachers...all very animated! haha! But, too bad, all classes are weekdays and me no SAHM... maybe when hannah's older...

I am totally exhausted, mentally and physically. JT is refusing milk AND solids.... she is only willing to drink plain water and eat biscuits. And she really won't feel hungry the whole day... ... and she keeps feeling sleepy cos not enuf energy mah.... and she can sleep thro the nite.... really dun understand, she really doesn't feel hungry??!
she lost so much weight these few days....I see liao also heartache... yesterday started giving her ridwind cos her stomach feels bloated even though she din eat much. and also bought infant multivitamin drops for her.... will observe if there are improvements today... if not, i'll bring her to PD tomorrow.... haiz...

ethan has been refusing nite feeds for 2 nites liao... last feed abt 8+pm to 10+pm then sleep till morning 7+am then drink milk... so worrying... is it ok? he has been refusing his porridge oso... but eats other food like bread n biscuit... mb his porridge no varieties... haiz... but there is still no sight of his teeth... really getting anxious liao... hope he start eating when i change his menu...

what type of carrier and sling can both support the weight of bb until to??
thks. dunno why preloved lucky bb carrier (those $29.90 type) is wobble when carry tx. think it is too big for me.

ergo can carry bb up to 40lbs, approx about 18kg. i personally don't like these front facing carriers because they hang the babies by the groin and the weight is on the spine. ergo makes babies sit down instead of hanging them by the groin.
i think there is one gymboree at tanglin mall, saw it yesterday when i went for the kindermusik trial. not sure if they have other outlets!
