I understand how u feel..last wed i brought Ivan see the new PD recommend by Vanessa.He assured me ivan is growing well ,he is now 7.75kg( still cant cross 8kg) he said if he is under 7kg then is underweight.n if he is not eating well n not active then there is something to worry.I have ald accepted the fact lor.wat to do!

oh yes, many bb turning 10 mths today. got mine, and rainv, bobianah, afcai, linette, zion and fizz.... happy 10 mths! hope i got all the names right.

choo, huh? uht? its those normal fresh milk lor. full cream meaning it contains more fat, not like skim milk. usually in asia its not popular to introduce fresh milk at this age. there are other milk powder avail. hmmm.....

The thing is, JT is still not eating well. There's improvement from previous times, but she still needs to play and play then she'll open her mouth to eat. It still takes 1 hr and an incredible amt of mess before she'll eat. I think I should bring her to see the PD to see what is wrong with her..... haiz.... and she is allergic to cow's milk, so no pediasure for her.

UHT stands for ultra-heat treated. It's the time of milk in the tetra pak (paper cartons) that doesn't need to be refrigerated and has a long shelf life. As it was treated under high heat, the protein level in the milk is kind of affected. THe other type if pasteurised milk. This is the type that needs refrigerated with a very short shelf life. As this was only treated at around 70+deg, the protein level is not really affected, so closer to fresh milk. But not sure if all the bacteria are killed in this case, so maybe that's why your PD suggested UHT milk. There are full cream milk for both types.

Gymboree not too bad. I only dun like it that class size is so big. 12 bbs a class!!!
But activity quite fun cos hannah like these move around, climb around things, then some sing song time, bubbles time, puppet time.

wow piang...over the weekend, i tried to reduce to 3 times per day (6am, 1pm & 11+pm(delay suppose to pump at 10pm)) but felt a big lump over my left breast. piang....a bit pain pain...today, only managed to clear the lump by continuing massaging every hr...now, dunno happy or sad, ss drop....the least is 80ml i can get.

ask u, do yr 'gd frenz' come regularly? since aug, the arrival of my 'gd frenz' after that sept my 'gd frenz' gone missing liao. siao liao...

hai...if u are free over weekend, can ask tx to go over yr hse or ph to come over my hse to play toys or interact....see ph will behave guai guai in front of my little missy or not. haa..

are u mentioning abt safra member? if so, go roadshow to sign and promotion more attractive with free gifts and discounted membership if one take up 3 yr or 5 yr membership.

as a safra member, there are quite a numberous of plc with discount. eg when produce yr safra card at golden village over weekend, it cost $8 only. so 'wu hua" (in hokkien). hubby also won movie passes almost every mth when he joined the contest online.

hubby took care of tx every fri when he ord that time during her 5-6 mth.but bath her when I came bck only. that's time tx is quite cranky but still ok. 2 mth ago, when I went for d n d, hubby took care of her during the evening - night time. tx cried for 2 hrs before she doze off man...

is it ok to give uht milk? cos my col who has a 2.5mth old toddler. she stopped before on his 21 mth bec her kid auto-wean off. hence, whenever fm she gave to this boy, he dun wan. then she bought the uht fr ntuc(forgot which brand) and gave him, he loves it. now, his caregiver will warm up the milk fr the fridge loh.

this kind uht ex wor...but isn't it less nutrient when compare to fm??

But i realise, once they set their mind to do something, no point forcing them not to, cos they will just turn back to it to satisfy curiosity. Loooooooong time no post liao!!!! How's everyone?
I will be teaching chocolate cookies at a ART studio for kids. Anyone with kids of age 4 and abv can join the class.

The class will start from 10am - 4pm, from 10am - 12 noon, I will be teaching the cookies and after lunch, the kids will get to paint the containers for putting the cookies in. Either glass container or basket. It will be a very interesting course, mostly all hands-on, the kids will get to fold in the flour and do their own baking n after that will be hands-on painting. Anyone interested? It will be on 19th Oct (PSLE Marking Day). This is a 1 day course, so it will be a good chance for you to see if you child loves art. It's $120 inclusive of all ingredients, materials and lunch. Let me know if any of u interested.

just share with u something which I read today - Straits times - mind yr body. there 's this article page 8 abt cracking bb speak code.

it mentioned abt how an australian woman decoded meanings behind the sounds that bb make. she has developed the Dunstan bb language system, a set of sounds bb produce by reflex when asking for specific needs to be met. they are used by bb aged zero to 3 mth to 'communicate' the 5 basic needs of hunger, fatigue, need to burp, pain fr wind in the gut and gerenal discomfort. she use audio equipment to record the cries of her child.

she discovered that when bb said 'eh' they weren't hungry but only needed to be burp. so when u burp them, they werer happy again. if bb said 'neh' mean they are hungry.

this woman backgnd is a trained violinist and opera singer that allowed her to differentiate the diff sound a bb made.it took 8 yrs to rearch to uncover the sound system - a language shared by all bb.she is hoping to bring DvDs to sg thru retailer such as mothers work and mothercare.

the sound s that a bb mkes are universal. bb don't have ctrl over what they are saying.it's the body talking or the body making sounds. eg.

Neh: I'm hungry.
sound produced when there is a sucking motion.

Owh:I'm sleepy/tired.
sound of a yawn reflex.

Eh: I need to burp.
sound produced when the muscle in the chest is lightened.

Eairh: I have lower wind pain.
sound is produced when the muscles in the lower abdomen are constricted.

Heh: i am uncomfortable/need to be changed.
sound made when the chest muscle is contracted and breath is pulled into the diaphragm.
