mbb, i know..but yoplait was the only bb yogurt i could find that day..thats why now thinking of making my own so that its FULL CREAM FATTY MILK

No need to adopt the entire approach, it's the concept that babies will automatically reject foods that they cannot swallow, and gagging is part of the learning process. To start, keep to soft foods like very ripe pear or watermelon.

Just try for a couple of meals a week, that should be enough. It's more of giving baby the exposure and opportunity to try self-feeding and handling foods.

No lah, not brave at all. Only tried the easy to clean foods.... haven't gone down the path of the pasta, noodles, pancakes, meats and combo meals yet.... hah hah hah.

think I'll try to give her things like banana 1st. Yesterday lunch was very good, she ate her spinach/carrot and rice cereal in 20min... but dinner was disastrous... simply refused to open her mouth, think she didn't like the avocado banana combi...This girl is sooooo picky abt food. haiz... I was telling hubby I hate kids who dun eat their food, and somehow my girl is one of them... haiz...

yah lor, they will lose bb fats once they are active. Hubby's cousin brought the bumbo chair cos her boy still can't sit mah, so I borrowed it to feed JT. Then MIL saw and said how come last time JT's thighs will get stuck in the bumbo very badly, but now won't get stuck liao... hinting that JT lost wt... even hubby's cousin also said it's because she has started to crawl so will lose a bit of fats on the thighs mah... and besides JT is very active, always wanting to jump or stand or crawl, sure can't put on wt lor... MIL keep saying she is so active because I rented the jumperoo, so now she is so used to jumping, keep wanting to jump. I told her it's the other way round, it's because JT keep wanting to jump tat's why I rented it mah.... and I dun understand wat's wrong with being active??! It indicates that bb is healthy mah! I think she thinks fat= healthy, gosh the thought of having to face her again tonite makes me so sian....

Day time he is crawling all over the house, touching anything and everything and pulling himself up on all sorts of things. Then after stand liao, wanna let go hands like as if he can stand so well. Haiyo...day time so tired chasing him ard then night time he keep waking up. Then often wake up at 2+am and dun wanna go back to sleep...Me super zombie liao. Anyway, why want a fat baby...so heavy and next time also more likely to be obese. Just ignore your ignorant MIL lah.

dora, relax a bit. dun think abt it. actually my boi also lost weight when he was sick a month ago and now tho can see he put on some but not like last time cos now he super active. yup, can't sit anymore. will crawl and try to stand up holding on to anything. its ok la. there'll be time where they will not seem to put on any weight. its ok as long as they're eating. actually too heavy will hurt our back! haha!

if we let him sit on the floor, he will crawl here n there. Reach out for his walker and stand up wif the support. or else he will crawl to his high chair n try to stand up using the support. even try to climb the high chair. *faint*
My MIL ever told mi if jav might turn out to be hyperactive kid. like the show "wo bu shi bu ting hua" I told her tat bbs this age, shld b all veri curious and active. we cannot jubge a hyperactive kid so young coz he still dun understand wat we say mah.. alamak.. y all MILs like to make remarks n compare.

Mummies, Evee is ok. Just some soup on her hair and she didn't cry so i assume she is not frightened by what happen at the restaurant. Looks like i missed the gift for Made. Bad mood today, just this morning, received news that i am by passed for a promotion and someone whom i felt is undeserving is promoted instead
really felt more and more sian working here. I am so underpaid if not for the regular working hours would have left and recently situation is getting worse. Yes, thankfully, the choking and vomitting dun bother them as much as it bothers us...haha... when she gags, i pat her back and she'll cough out watever the offending piece is. but yesterday is the 1st time she choke and vomit. Believe it or not, I put my palm under her chin and she threw up all over it!! luckily it was a small amount and it was warm and a bit "jelly" like...haha! so strange. Then she was ok. But my hb and MIL stress man...
It's quite funny, the other day, she choked, tears welled up in her eyes, she spit up a small bit of apple. When we know she's ok, we laughed at her, cos so cute mah. Then I think she got upset with us and screwed up her face in protest, but didn't cry. Of cos, we laughed even harder la!
So bad rite? but i quickly picked her up to sayang her. heehee!

Continue to expose her to many things...and in the meantime, be thankful you have a guai guai bb!

sometimes, hannah sit in carseat oso scream her head off! think she feels bored n dun like being strapped in...but, bo bian! we use toys, mobile phone ring tones, etc to distract her. sometimes, just let her scream...bo bian!

But stroller he is still ok as long as stroller is moving all the time. Whenever stop for a while he will make noise asking to be carried liao.

BTW abt the TRANS FAT in Nestle, yes, trans fat = trans fatty acid. Think I mentioned here in the forum b4 but no mummy reply so I thot nobody feeding Nestle cereal. Our bodies need absolutely NIL trans fat and it is worse than saturated fats cos it not only increased bad cholestrol in the body, it also decreases good cholestrol. I was quite shocked to c it in Nestle food products but I think other brands also contains trans fat except that they chose not to disclose this nia. The fats in bb products are mainly from Veg sources n trans fat is produced in the process of altering Veg oils so that they can remain solid at room temp so I m guessing most bb foods contains it. Nestle is participating in the HPB campaign for ppl to make healthier choices mah so they disclose. In fact FM also contains it leh. I called Mead Johnson to ask re Enfalac. Know what they told me... they say it contains so little (i.e. less than 0.1%) that they can legally say it is trans fat free. Walau...got means got lah.
BTW abt the TRANS FAT in Nestle, yes, trans fat = trans fatty acid. Think I mentioned here in the forum b4 but no mummy reply so I thot nobody feeding Nestle cereal. Our bodies need absolutely NIL trans fat and it is worse than saturated fats cos it not only increased bad cholestrol in the body, it also decreases good cholestrol. I was quite shocked to c it in Nestle food products but I think other brands also contains trans fat except that they chose not to disclose this nia. The fats in bb products are mainly from Veg sources n trans fat is produced in the process of altering Veg oils so that they can remain solid at room temp so I m guessing most bb foods contains it. Nestle is participating in the HPB campaign for ppl to make healthier choices mah so they disclose. In fact FM also contains it leh. I called Mead Johnson to ask re Enfalac. Know what they told me... they say it contains so little (i.e. less than 0.1%) that they can legally say it is trans fat free. Walau...got means got lah.

E so sam seng also nebermind...but why he suddenly wake up 0.5 or 1 hr at nite???? Anybody else whose bb is on FM also like that. B4 he was waking up twice nitely for milk altho I m pretty sure it wasn't bcos he was hungry, seems more like a habit. Past 3 weeks bcome worse, wake up in btwn drinking hrs also. Is it bcos he is using pacifier n at nite wake up to look for pacifier har?
