Lac....training starts young but nowadays very very young!!!! Wow liao...u kau chang lei...me pretty satisifed wif her height oredi...don't 4get, mrt entrance measure by height not by age probably I will hv to start paying earlier OR bring her birth cert. along....

I use the most primitive 'Paint' programe :p

1)Open paint programe
2)Open file to resize
3)click on 'image'
4)click on 'stretch n skew'
5)under 'stretch', change the percentage of 'Horizontal' and 'vertical' (normally, i change both to about 20-30percent)
6)save file

IF
the file size still too big to post on forum, after downsizing, I will 'cut' the entire photo and open a New empty file, 'paste' it and save under another name. works all the time.


I know my method is tedious and resolution is bad but thats the cheapest n easiest method i know :p

I would also like to learn alternative methods (but must be easy cos i not IT savvy) anyone can share?
 
really admire the mummies who lug the entire house overseas and still have a great time!
I dont think i have the ability, courage and ka-ching to bring potato overseas till shes start school!

do you have Microsoft Office Picture Manager?
after you open the pic, click on Picture.
At the drop-down list, click on Compress Picture.
You will be prompted to compress for webpage / documents / email messages.

I usually choose email messages or webpage.
As long as the file size is less than 50kb, can post here already!!

btw for program may I suggest "newborn care" program. All ladies can be re-trained on feeding, changing and entertaining new born. I can give you my nathan for this program.

5)save file as xxxxx (normally I dont save the original file, will save as.)

elmobbger: yes, child fare entitles you to a seat. its below 2 years when they pay only the airport tax that they don't have a seat...

if you want the more spacious seats ie the bulkhead seat, you need to check in as early as possible!
if you're flying SQ, can select your seats online too!
the extra space is wonderful for kids, no harm trying!

When i brought Declan there, i just relax, and he go and run around. this time round, i will bring a ball so he can play. the last time i got a stylophone aeroplane.

Cody/Yuru...izit the first row of seat where they locate the bb bassinet? I like the row 'cos itz not disturbing to any front seat passenger. The ones next to the window is PERFECT with broader leg room.

elmobbger: yeah me too, feel so excited for yuru & cindy! actually its MOST tiring for parents on the day before the trip and the day after you come back. so much packing / unpacking to do!

yuru: yeah, its 10% of the fair. except for shuttle flights to malaysia, then its airport tax only.

i just learnt recently that there is a v nice open-air cafe opposite botanic garden, on dempsey road.

its supposedly v child friendly where the parents can sit, yak & eat while the kids play nearby. sounds great hor?

plus its has shelter, so come rain or shine we can still go.
lemme check it out in oct first before we decide to have our next gathering #5 there!

cheyyy its by the Project Shop, food is so-so.
but more importantly, budget is $50 for a 3 course meal. SIAO!
