medusa, hahaha... got copyright issue so cannot say out loud mah... hehehe...

yuru, u heard?!? u not around last year meh?!? anyway, it's the trouble AFTER that i was pissed with...

elmobbger, hmm... the poster's design recognition should be given to another mummy, not me hor... i lazy, just print nia...

LL, MMR jab, *might* have fever 5-7 days after jab... but most kids I know dun have fever... it's the booster @ 18mths that cause fever a day after the jab... MMR jab on left arm... booster jab on right thigh... (or is it the other way around?)

Jen...MMR on the right thigh, had her hep jab on the same thigh @d the same time. Last jab for the yr will be the booster in 6 weeks time....So, itz jus fever after MMR & usually for how long?

Jen: definitely sticking to that theme, design wise its either *that* one or another design that a local bakery does.

Medusa: no matter what, your castle cake wins hands down!! baked with love!!
mine is paid with plastic... credit card. alamak.

elmobbger: you're attending zoophonics at jurong?
how do you find it?
i tried to go for a trial once, but whoever who took my call was absolutely rude!
pissed me off, so i'm steering clear of the jurong outlet now.
how much per term?

ya.. MMR no fever for ger..

yuru, lucky no new stks for bb
happy.gif
is a great news to me.. hehehe..

cody, ya jurong that one lor.. ger, my mum and myself like it.. ger esp.. can see she enjoy it a lot.. but depends on individual lar.. some parents i got negative feedback on zoophonics leh.. but considering the distance quite near us, so ok lor..
happy.gif
per month is abt $150.. twice a wk.

Thanks mommies for all the MMR info....pray hard Stef will not get fever...very shiong lei....lately had been sick, bad throat for more than a week, seen doc twice...so worry will pass over to my precious...

Talking abt speech, Stef still on single word, no phrase....guess she has a looonng way to go...

wow ... so many pictures!

TBL,
Natalie's such a pretty gal and I really feel like pinching Nathan's cheeks !!

You really know how to doll up Natalie's hair. I have lots to learn from u!

I was tempted to buy the toy shelf too but resisted cos they don't come with covers and are too small for Shermyn's books.

LL,
I love the 2nd pic of Steffi and Toby with the same expressions. LOL !!! Very very candid!! Can send for photo contest !

TBL,
This is the best I could do so far tying shermyn's hair. she doesn't like having clips on her hair and will yank them off after a while.

499828.jpg

This pic was taken at Botanic Gardens yesterday. It was the first time we picnic-ed there and the weather was really humid and hot!

Shermyn really had a good time there though ... watching the kids play, pointing at the big and small dogs and listening to SSO. Her fav was running down the grass slope which she did it more than 20 times!

some more pics of her mischevious acts at home ...

499829.jpg

she likes wearing her barney sunglasses the other way up. funny ....

SO HAPPY.
early monday morning so many tod+bb pics to see!

Yuru,
AIYO...that pic of cindy is so "quick hug me cos i am sad"
with a cute bambi face like that.. how to say NO to her??
and the 'poke dimple' pic is so cute.

Jen,
master designer, cant wait to see your 2006 design. rem your 2005 was so good that......

Yu,
you need girdle meh?? then i need to be locked up.

TBL,
nat outing pics so nice... shes really a doll.you2 had a great time right?
I love her new hairstyle..so nice, can put so many clips on her hair..
her toy box very very very nice.

Nathan SO CHUBBY... i want to hug him ..

LL,
young towkay in the making? or you child abuse? ask steffi to balance your account??? :p
the last pic with toby is nice. i think she measure 86cm when she bend like tat :p

Seagal,
the first pic so cute...... shermyn shd tie her hair more often.hehe
why i never have a chance to meet cheeky shermyn, with her endless cute antics?

Rae n i were at BG on sat..at 845 in the morning, so the weather was quite nice. we2 went for a guided tour of the evolution garden. quite fun. very informative.

PS:
ALL of you purposely tie your pretty daughters' hair in pretty clips n styles to make me green?

yuru,
my colleague bought the pink top for her niece so i recognised it instantly. =)

I didn't get much tops for shermyn (she has too many already!). Bought the 5-piece homewear for her too and she loves it. I bought size 100 and she's wearing them like short dresses. Very cute!

I bought the xiao man tou from Fairprice (Junction 8). It comes with a set of 10 small packets (if my memory did not fail me).

Lach,
The morning air at BG is really refreshing. we plan to go there more often...hopefully.

haha ... shermyn's funny antics are for mummy and daddy's eyes only. u should know how well she "freezes" in front of strangers.

OMG... every girl is clipping their hair nice nice... how i wish i can do that to ger... my saliva drooling liao.. looking at all those pics with clips..
happy.gif

Yuru, the shots are really well taken.. hmmm.. the pigeon instant porridge u and cody talking abt, is it those in departmental stores? ger loves that!!
happy.gif

TBL, nice seeing natalie in the hat.. i bought hat too.. but all end up in store.. ger simply wont allow anything on her head lar.. be it clip and hat.. all NO NO.. aiyo.. i love that 4-clip hair style... hey, yr toy rack hor, the labels on the bin comes with it or u make it yrself?

seagal, shermyn's pic at BG is so cute.. wow.. go BG never chio.. i planning to go this sun.. kekeke.. the last time i went was 2nd day of CNY.. kekeke...

lach, go BG bo chio....

yuru,
when r u flying off to BJ ?

elmobbger,
my hubby will probably *faint* if I tell him we want to go BG again for a picnic! we parked at the new carpark and it was super FAR from the symphony stage. no joke walking there and back all the way. we were totally drenched!

better idea to just go there walk walk in the mornings and park at their old visitor centre which is nearer to the halia garden, le amis cafe, etc if possible.

what were u doing there on the 2nd day of CNY ... good time to go though ... not much pple.

mummies,
thks for yr compliments! tie natalie's hair must depends on her mood. most of the time she will let me do it for her but sometime she will ran away when she sees me holding her "accessories box"! :p

LL,
"me & tobby" pic very nice! noticed steffi has very nice eyebrow!! so good, next time no need to trim.

lach,
yes, had a great time shopping with nat. she is very obedient when daddy is not around. kekeke...

seagal,
shermyn's first pic very nice.
happy.gif

the toy shelf is good for small toys like cars, puzzles, finger puppets etc. last time she had hard time finding those small items as all are dumped into a big box. now she can chose and pick those toys she wants.
happy.gif

elmobbger,
the labels come with the shelf.

TBL/Elmobbger/Lach,
haha ... dunno why shermyn furrowed her eyebrows in the first pic. she must probably be wondering what's so nice to take when her mouth is full of food.

i can foresee the open toy shelves gathering dust at home as we will probably have no time to maintain them. haha.

oh yes, I like Natalie's top with the crinkled collar. Lovely!!

seagal, the shelf nice leh.. go join the BP too leh.. kekeke.. cos i am in it too! hahaha...
happy.gif
hmmm... go BG cos too bored at home leh.. no know what to do... lucky we went actually.. cos ger's first 10 steps was there!! cant believe it.. she was so excited that she started to walk on her own.. 1st 10 steps.. we tried for so long get her to walk her 1st steps at home but she failed, but yet at BG, bu zhi bu jue she walking on her own.. and fm then onwards, she start to walk liao..
see her 1st 10 steps pic.. kekeke..

WOW so many pretty girls to make me giddy!

Yuru:
Texture: depends on which one you buy, they have rice version and porridge version. The porridge version is very watery, the rice is better. The rice is very soft almost like porridge, so eating shouldn't be a problem.

Each box comes with only 2 trays, i think our todds can easily eat 2-3 trays per meal.

easy to prepare: very easy! if you have a microwave, just heat it up. if you're in a hotel, close up the sink's drainage hole and pour hot boiling water. Submerge the trays for about 10mins and its ready to eat.
if you're outside, ask the restaurant for hot water. but you need to bring your own container to submerge the porridge tray.

where can i get it? taka, isetan, seiyu has the best selection.

which flavour is better? i found alot of them to be very salty, becos there is soya sauce and some of them contain seaweed as well. usually i give dean 2 trays of the pigeon porridge + some plain porridge to dilute the saltiness.

dean only likes one flavour: Sea Bream with rice.

any website to see? no website unfortunately.
those porridge i am referring to comes in a square box, ard $7.95 each.
They also have porridge that comes in foil packing, different price.

yuru, yuppe.. ger loves them... ask for it everytime she open the cabinet and see it.. me lazy to cook wkend, so at my own place, she will have that.. sometimes at night too late never cook my mum also give her that.. u can use a cup or a bowl and put boiling water, and then submerge the tray inside will do.. (eh., cody, i help u answer.. kekeke... too full after lunch, surf some net..
happy.gif
) yaya.. she is only abt 10kg, unless the weighing machine that the doc has is spoilt lar... kekeke...

yuru:
yeah just bring a container.
hot water - ask from aeroplane, restuarants wherever they have a food outlet, since the water water is merely to warm up the food.

suggest you let cindy try some in singapore first, just in case ....

best place to buy is taka, the range there is the largest!
happy.gif

actually if cindy doesn't like the pigeon food, maybe can give her table food?
Dean doesn't like rice, he still likes to eat porridge. So when i travel nowadays, i will make plain porridge with vegetables, then order fish / tofu at the restaurant and mash it up to mix into his porridge.

Alot easier this way!
(I'm very paranoid about constipation lah, so i will always add more veg. eg those pigeon porridge - not much veg...)

yuru:
ah, then no problem lah!
its a great idea, just compensate by giving cindy more fruits!

the bottled fruits are super convenient on holidays, but so heavy to carry around....
don't buy the heinz bottled pureed apricot though, its very sour!
the pear, banana etc are all ok.

yuru: be sure to give cindy your own home-boiled water for her milk ok? i gave dean aeroplane hot water and he got diarrhoea from it.

same when you arrive in china - think its safer for cindy to drink bottle water (the distilled type; spring water tastes slightly different).

as a precaution, bring diahorrea medication!
an experience mom taught me, that in the absence of medication and a doctor, give 100plus or any isotonic drinks to help the child replace some lost salts from the diahorrea.

Happy Holidays!!!
happy.gif

Hi all,

Dun mind to teach this mummy here who's poor in picture resizing. I've tried to go to PAINT but wat're the exact steps. I've tried the "attributes" function but picture gets cut off not resize.

Thanks.

yuru:
bottled prunes? hmm can't help you there cos i've never seen it. keep me in the loop when you find out!
happy.gif

I very kiasu - i travel with medication for Dean just in case ... i bring medicine for diahorrea, runny nose / cough and fever.

Diahorrea: Smecta or Lactoguard from guardian pharmacy.
Runny nose / cough: need to get fr GP.
Blocked nose: Vicks (travel size abt 50-cent coin size)
Fever: liquid panadol
Gas / colic: yu yee oil

Bring along a syringe for measuring also...

I don't mean to be a nag, bring moisturiser & lip balm for Cindy too! The air in the aeroplane cabin & in china is dry ... our kids get affected easily.

cody
think i m like u. super KS. i brought thermometer, syrinch, fever pads, handiplast... bla bla .... everything man! ma cham like "Ban Jia". on the plane, i also got moisturizer and lip balm

hello yuru,
no problem!

lip balm - i bought QV lip balm. quite hard to find, but NTUC Unity pharmacy has it for ard $4 per tube. It's very easy to apply - its a creamy lip balm in a tube form. Apply with fingers.

i kiasu, i apply slightly beyond the lips as well, just in case the tips or corners of the lips crack. those areas v painful.

i dunno if beijing is cold now ... if it is, pls bring a pair of gloves & beanie for her hand and head/ears. the dry skin there will also cause cracks, very painful.

there ARE special lip balm for babies, eg Kiel's but they are very expensive!
I find QV good enough cos its fragrance free and pH friendly for sensitive skin.
happy.gif

Mngo: same lah! me too, each time go holiday macam ban jia. don't say go holiday, each time i go out kai kai already one BIG BAG!
happy.gif
