(2004/12) Year 2004 December Mummies

[evelyn_au]

Cody, Seagal
The sandals all look so nice and dainty! I really dont know should choice which pair??? Think I need go to one of their outlets to test my size too, dont think can make it this round leh! Anyway, cody, thanks for your info. Let me know if next time you still have any good lubang ya.

[cody]

Eve Au, Lach: no worries!

Seagal: when will you be going to the boutique?
I can still accomodate you if you're getting 2 pairs. But i need you to come back to me by monday can?
cos if you're not ordering, i'll throw it open to the forum at the BP corner.

thanks!

[frisbee]

Cody,

Am keen on getting a pair!!!

But I can only go to the boutique over the weekend, is that okay for you?

A bit blur though, can you tell me what kind of conversions and shipping costs we are looking at? When will we be able to get it?

Thanks!

[frisbee]

YYP,

It's good to see you here again! JJ's language development is amazing! Your dad has really taught her well!

Really hope to catch up with you at the Botanical Gardens, would love to type more here but unfortunately today is a busy day for me!

[frisbee]

Lach,

You able to make it for the evening slot? Took a quick look at the attendence and seems that the evening slot is much preferred over the morning one!

TBL,

You able to make it for the Sunday evening slot? I think most names are there for the Sunday evening slot except for yours leh! You must come okay! Remember you still got to conduct your newborn care lessons!

[frisbee]

Medusa,

You wanna join us?

[cody]

KC: no problem, i will reserve the slot for you.
Price is betw S$70-80 (before 10% discount).
Delivery is in Dec; most unfortunately, we cannot combine orders from the current season with the new one.

check out the designs here:
http://www.sandalsworld.com/Papillio-.htm

shipping will be free if i can gather at least 4 pairs. At the moment, i have 3 confirmed pairs.

however i am trying to keep the order below S$400 to avoid GST.

yuru:
alamak, you need more pigeon porridge? I have at least 5 boxes of the Sea bream with rice. Can pass to you first.
20% is so worth it! no wonder so fast sold out...

the birkenstock shoes are really comfy!
dun worry abt being lao tu, so am i!
i choose the more convservative designs lor...

[seagal]

Cody,
Let KC and Yuru take the Birkie slots then.

Dun think I can get my hubby down to the shops by this week. Will take my time to choose then. Thanks!

[mtmtmt]

yuru,
i help cody da-guang-gao. Birkenstocks started out as very lao-tu brand, cos catered for people with foot problems. In the beginning the guy who tried to popularise it couldn't move his sales, cos no one wanted to buy ugly shoes.

Then dunno what happened, suddenly become very fashionable. LOL! I'm on my 3rd pair of birks- first 2 pairs were leather, so shows wear-tear too easily, looks very crummy from heavy usage so junked them! So dun buy leather! I still find the sole abit hard for supposedly comfortable footwear.

And now to play devil's advocate... I prefer crocs these days. Sole softer and bouncier.

[cody]

LOL medusa!!

thank you thank you!

crocs? dunno why, hubby and i both got badly blistered by crocs! now they're just white elephants in my shoe cabinet...

actually another v comfy but ugly shoe is Kumfs from NZ. awwwwwwwwwwww, my feet were in heaven!
but the price tag quickly brought me back onto earth.

[mtmtmt]

cody,
if ur white elephants are the right sizes, they r welcome to walk over to me, heehee!

[mtmtmt]

yah heard abt kumfs... but too ex for my pocket.
I've been eyeing this birks design http://www.sandalsworld.com/birk_single_newc.php?I_ID=1001906&IC= for long time... but very ex leh.

[seagal]

medusa,
birkies no bounce ? aiyoh .... then i still prefer my timberland. hehe.... toyed with the idea of getting crocs too but think i will look stupid wearing them as they are broad contrasts to my chopsticks legs.

[seagal]

And oh yes,

Maple_Leaf will try to join us for the BG gathering if she's free!

[seagal]

tsk tsk tsk .... my mummy siao shoes now.

not a very clear pic cos I took this with my mobile.

[seagal]

Yuru,
Cindy doesn't have chopstick legs lah. She looked nice leh ... so cute!

[mtmtmt]

stocky legs . Shoes too big lah!

[tbl]

YYP,
hi hi, nice to see u here!

KC,
actually i prefer morning lah. but if majority is sunday evening then I'm ok. told my hubby yesterday, I missed the gathering #2 & 3 so no matter what we MUST join this gathering.

anyone contact leo29?? hope she can join too.

[seagal]

my mil had a pair of crocs and shermyn has seen her wore them before. we were at isetan over the weekend so i asked shermyn if she wanted to try the crocs shoes. she nodded yes and i happily sat her down to try them.

while i was putting on the left side for her, this handsome young gor gor sales assistant helped out by putting on the other side for her.

then ..... without me realising it, shermyn suddenly burst into tears and wailed very loudly!! i was shocked as she had been so quiet the whole while when we were wearing the shoes for her.

the gor gor quickly ran away after she broke into tears, haha.

i realised that she must have been taken aback to see this stranger helping her wear the shoe! Poor girl, I had to quickly take the shoes off, apologise to him and get her out of the place before she stopped wailing.

[cody]

medusa: NICEeeeeeeeeee !!! the diamante range costs an arm and a foot though ...
heeee, my white elephants come out for exercise once a week to the swimming pool....
darn waste of my moolah actually ...

seagal: agreed, crocs are kinda bulky, makes me look like i'm wearing clown shoes!

yuru: whoa 1 gift for everyone? luckily you got 60kg luggage allowance!

no worries, if you need the pigeon porridge just call me k? 9747 9289

[elmobbger]

[cody]

elmobbger: yuru can't meet you this weekend, cos she's holidaying in Beijing!!! *envy & drool*

ya, you must try to come for our gathering #4!

Mommies, refresh my poor memory ...
#3 was at daffy's place, but what was #2 ah?
Steffi's BD party is it?

By the way, anyone managed to contact Daffy?
Is she coming for gathering #4?

[seagal]

cody,
just sent an sms to daffy, waiting for her to respond.

[mtmtmt]

elmobbger,
oh u havent seen the yukata yet ah? I think size will be too big, dunno whether can fold up the waist to shorten the length, hehe.
think by mail easier, this wkend I'm going to runaway for my 1st break since... a long time ago, lol. Going... *drumroll*... KL only lah.

yuru,

[cody]

medusa: just saw pics of tena in the hanbok, aiyoh so cuteeeeeeeee! so ... so.... charbor!!!

ooooh KL is better than nothing.

Seagal,

Me too contacted Duffy since this morning but no response from her yet!

Hee! I contacted Mapleleaf too this morning!

[seagal]

yuru,
i think the baby is Xiang (Yap's boy).

[elmobbger]

medusa, ya i agree with cody, KL is better than nothing.. better than me sitting here...

cody, sure will try to meetup... esp we staying so near each other, me never meet u before.. kekeke..

yuru, I am going to ren-ren-ren.. enjoy yr trip leh!!

[lachesiz]

medusa,
athena so cute in the hanbok. like a doll.
have a good trip

cody,
likewise. the registration fees is ridiculously high for weekend prog. though the place is big and spacious, with outdoor play, i find gug has a better and more comprehensive programme.
crossing my finger that my school-hunt is nearing its end.

yuru,
get a pair! 4 pairs still not enough leh...
i think birks more suitable for you than crocs lah. really

elmobbger,
the 2 of us form support grp ok.. we REN REN REN. even after seeing cindy n athena cute pink ones. but I'm eyeing something(s) else...

seagal,
shermyn protest cos her 'yu4-tui3' cannot let other 'man' touch mah....
and how i wish i have legs like yours...

[lachesiz]

Shall i narrow and update the list since most are in favour of 4pm?
