even tho its a blighted ovum ie. no foetus, still feel sad hor? Alot of ple told me, i shouldn't feel too sad cos its not a baby anyway... but to me, I felt its my baby... Mine was worse, not even a yolk. Only an empty gestational sac at 8 weeks.
Same as you, this is my 2nd "preg". My first pregnancy went well, no problems, no morning sickness. My girl is now almost 2YO. So I was totally thrown offguard when my 2nd preg is a blighted ovum. Never expected it. Gynae told me this happens to 20% of pregnancies. That's quite a high percentage... that's why its scary to try again. The cramps after a d&c was killer for me.

no explanations as to what caused blighted ovum. Just didn't work out - the chromosomes or genes. My gynae advised me to religiously take folic acid regularly next time when I'm TTC again.
