I do believe in fate..i was wf my ex-bf for 7yrs,then broke up...7mths later met my hb..then married after 7mths of pak-tor....then conceived my boy 7mths later...n my son is borned in July(oso 7)....but don't tell me,i'm going to hv my 2nd child 7yrs later...heehee...

Ive added you to msn.. Dr Chang waiting time is very reasonable, on average I wait about 30min each time.. his package is 800 from 2nd visit onwards.. tink individually, consulation is 65 and ultrasound scan is from 30 - 65....

MC is fine, most importantly is bb is safe and fine. Is ur boss understanding? If not, quit to look after your pregnancy... 1st trimester is over liao, you are 1/3 there!

my MS is still bad loh. That why gynae extend my MC. Hope that i get better soon. Actually 1st tri is 12 wks or 14wks? Next wk i gg for DS test. Quite worry hope everything will be fine.

my immed boss understanding but the higher management i dun think so loh. Cos i am in govt sector so i will not quit lar. Will only consider changing job after i give birth. Cos govt have more MC loh.

lucky like u, my boss is quite understanding...hopefully, ur ms will get better soon! but i heard the worse the MS the stronger the pregnancy...hang in there

Hi Avocado, I also think its good that u decided to give urself some peace by not drilling anymore at least for now. U deserve some space and proper pampering of urself yah. Yeah, agree with u that to have to go thru 2x is devastating. Like u, I also think how my babies are doing and if they are well taken care of and really feel like buying toys for them to play. If I tell such thoughts to other people, they will think I am crazy but I guess the ladies here will know.

Again, I would still tell u not to worry about the outcome of the test because I think u r trying to say that as we grow older, the possibility of having chromosomal abnormal babies r higher with the pollution n preservatives we eat. That is true, actually the rate increases at 32 and not 35 like most people think. But our chromosomal (genetic blueprint) make up will never change unless we are exposed to radiation with high penetration which is unlikely for ur case. That means ur chance of having another healthy baby stays high as u have a son. So don't lose hope k. Anyway, let us know the outcome of the test and I can share with u what is the next step. For the test, if the cells have not died for a long time (say longer than a wk), should be able to culture. Yeah, I will surely broadcast any good gynae, actually I am looking for one who is very good with D&C and same thing, for any lady who knows of one, kindly broadcast it

Hi Aileen, my chinese sinseh & gynae told me to take one folic acid per day 3mths before TTC. Will help in baby growth. Do not take more than one. Also, try not to take seafood if possible.

thanks for all that info. actually, before i got preggie in feb this year, i had an x-ray done in Jan.but the x-ray was an annual one which is mandatory @ my workplace. its a chest x-ray to check the lungs.

Could the x-ray have affected my 2nd pregnancy? i really feel guilty about it. To be honest, the 2nd pregnancy wasn't planned at all, so i was not taking any folic acid or prenatal vits.

For #2, i fell sick more often and felt so weak and tired all the time, unlike my first one.

is ur boss male? my boss is male, although he didnt say anything bout the MCs i took, he didn't really help lessen my workload.

i was half dead in the office most of the time, i felt so miserable! i dont like to be pitied but @ that time, i really hoped someone would haf mercy on me and make my work life easier!

Since you only conceived (in Feb) after ur x-ray in Jan, it can't be the due to the x-ray. We only cannot take x-ray while pregnant and not prior, so don't scare yourself yah. And I don't think u hve tired urself to extend to harming bb. Super unlikely. Maybe I tell u what happened to me to put ur mind at ease. After my 1st mc, I kept recollecting what I could have done wrong to cause the mc and bingo, it dawned upon me that my mum just painted her house and on the next day, I went there for dinner. I recalled that during the dinner, I could distinctively smell the paint fumes. For the fear of harming the bb, I only stayed 30mins and quickly went home. But the possibility that the 30mins exposure to the fumes might have caused the mc tormented me for three weeks. The self-blaming was unbearable. The truth was finally revealed that my bb died due to chromosomal prob. Therefore, this has taught me that while it is true that preggie ladies must avoid all possible health hazards (eg sushi, deli, paint, xray etc) and try to rest as much, a healthy preggie is more resilient than we imagine. So don't worry and scare urself like what I did to myself.

And Aileen, I really think ur SIL is very funny ;p

Porky, I am like u, my 2nd cycle after mc is quite haywire. Used to have very regular cycles but now still no signs of ovulation. Think just be patient and don't stress becoz that will make it worse leh..

BTW, cheekz, when I say radiation penetration can alter a person's genetic blueprint, I referring to very damaging radiation like those from atomic bombs. That is why some Jap descendants in Hiroshima suffered from all kinds of cancer after WWII because their genetic made-up is altered. Those chest-x-ray we took will not harm us unless we are already pregnant at that point in time.
 
Ladies, somehow my clearblue OPK abit siao siao. ytd morning i tested was -ve, but at night was +ve so i told HB we will do it in this morning. but come this morning when i went to test, the kit was still showing me the smiley +ve from the day before.i got impatient and tested anyway and the lines on the strip clearly showed the test line being darker than the control line. so we BD.. But but now that i test again, its a -ve with the test line being quite dark also, but not as dark as the control line... sigh, im so confused and wonder if i TTC wrong time.

I encountered the same situation as u.During my 3rd preggie(2m/c),my MIL hse was under reno,with all the smell of paints...I was there for abt 20mins,hv lunch n quickly chiao.I oso wonder if this might hv caused my this m/c.Coz my HCG reading was alright initially.Besides,i oso downed from cold the 2nd wk after i conceived.I read abt viral infection oso causes m/c.

Then for my 1st m/c,i was in the mid of shifting our office to another building.I carried some of the heavy stuff(coz i didn't realise i was preggie) so I kept wondering if that might cause m/c. I oso dislike my colleague who kept pressurizing me to do the job for her b4 i quit.

Hmm..I tink u r too negative when u asked for dr who is good in DnC....Pls dont tink tat way.I'm sure ur next preggie is a healthy one.

I realise most female bosses r like tat leh...Once i worked PT at NUH,my stupid female boss asked me to come bk over wkend.I rejected her.The reason i work PT bcoz i wanna spend more time wf my family,yet,u wanna tak away my wkend.Both of them:1 single,the other married for years but no kid.So i don't blame them coz they don't understand.At the end,i quit my job after 3mth.Nvr work in hospital,very political.The HR ppl there r all jerks.

Hi Jappooh, happy for you that u have past your 1st trimester.

I'm married for 4 yrs and had 2 m/c before i have my bb last Dec. Juz want to encourage all working pregnant mommies to take leave for resting if necessary, don't push yourself too much. I have a lousy boss who graded me as below average last yr simply because I couldn't do much of the lab work and had taken 1 1/2 mth hospital leave to rest at home at very early stage( becos i had threaten-abortion).

Despite all the nasty things (e.g. no bonus, freeze my increment) which my company had done, I told myself to focus on my bb & bb only. Going thru the whole pregnancy was like riding the roller-coaster. Each toilet visit was a worry for me, because I was so scare to see any spotting.

I have been working with my company for 7 years since i graduated (my 1st job). Disappointed that they had done that to me. I even wonder my 2 m/c were due to a toxin project which i was handling when i pregnant.

But I have learnt a lesson that is be good to yourself. Have rest if necessary. If anything bad happened, other people will only said sorry to you. But you are the one who suffer. After all, it's juz a job, family is more important.

Its quite amazing that we all think the same way, I guess its because we really love our bbs and want to do everything we can to protect them. Thanks for ur encouragement, Avocado. I also really really hope my next preggie is THE one. This is becoz I am a balanced translocation carrier (found out fr chromosome testing of my blood) after 1st mc. Have a total mc rate of 66% & recognizable mc rate of 50%, so I am braced for the worst for each preggie and genetic counsellor told me to be mentally prepared. But I am still hopeful that 1 day I can be a mom.

I'm back. Life have not been easy for me since I lost my baby in March. I miss him so much and keep counting the date to see when I can start TTC again. Chinese physician advised to wait for at least 6 mths..huh..another 3 mths to go.

I had the chromosme test done but never know how to read the report. My gynae did explain to me but I can't quite remember what she told me as I was really down that time. Only know there is no apparent of chromosomal abnomality. Does it mean me and my hubby are ok?

After my 2 unsuccessful pregnancy, my sister keep asking if me and my hubby went for any pre-marriage kind of health check to see if our genes ngam or not. With the chromosome report, can I assume we are ok? Can anybody advice?

Hv u ever considered IVF?Coz i've read abt IVF can help to select good sperms+eggs(Preimplantation genetic diagnosis),but again,it doesn't guarantee 100% coz cells will divide once sperm+egg fuse together.It is not encouraging coz it is costly,but it might b an option.Here is some info abt PGD:

I'm sure we all heard abt miracle happens.I ever heard abt if u wanna bb,the bb can feel it n it bcome a willpower for he/she to survive.But if u reject or give up the bb,he/she will be gone.

I took my 2nd preggie for granted coz my 1st preggie was smooth-sailing.I ran after the bus,ran a lot of errands.I even let my boy sat on my tummy.I reali regret...

I ever wonder..if i preggie..shld i lay back n do nothing?will it reali help??coz i am an active gal...always on the move..so bed rest is a torture for me.

But I might just decide to settle for one child coz i notice my hb is no longer keen.He cannot tak pressure n he is not as perseverance as me.I can't everything w/o his support.

Thanks and appreciate that u share with me about IVF wif PGD. Yes, I have heard of it and know a good gynae who has the knowledge of it. But my concern is it also subjects a good embryo to the risk of IVF that is 70% mc and the selection of embryos also subjects it to possibility of damage (including good ones). Its expensive how I somehow think if I keep having D&Cs and checkups, its going to be the same. Yes, this alternative is definitely still on my mind.

Yeah, I still believe in miracles and will not give up maybe until I reach 40 and I am also a believer that the bbs inside us can feel our willpower it is quite amazing but true.

Can understand how u feel becoz I also self-blame a lot last time but a lot books written by overseas drs actually preach that during the 1st trimester, lots of activities will not cause a good healthy preg to mc but yes, lots of activities might hasten the failure of unhealthy preg. Having said that, one thing I want to highlight to gals here, avoid backward bending yoga poses during 1st tri as it might possibly dislodge the embryo that is not yet firmly attached to uterus.

For the decision of settling for one child, it’s a tough decision but as long as u stay happy as a family, that is more impt. My hb always try to console me that even if we are childless, we must be happy. Atlo I know he really wants a child, his theory is happiness in it current state is most impt loh as no one knows what tom holds.

So just enjoy ur son and current motherhood which I believe u r already..

For Beverly, yes, u r normal when they say no apparent chromosomal abnormality. That is what is said on my hubby’s chromosomal report.

that's true,no one knows tat tmr holds.I always tell my frds not to envy or jealous when others r living beta than u...u reali won't know who is the "xin fu" until the day he/she dies.

Mayb after 2 m/c,my state of mind now is very unstable.I get very sensitive or irritated easily..i wonder if anyone shares the feelings as me after m/c...Most of the times,i would wanna b alone or be wf my son.

Ur hb is rite,so long as u healthy n happy,having a child is nt crucial.Mayb we shld just tink of this way,let's try to conceive,try to maintain a healthy preggie,the rest just leave it to fate.At least we've tried,then we won't regret..not tat we're nt doing anything.

It's so nice you have passed your first trimester. Time flies. I wished i was like you, can expect a baby this december. But don't worry I am ok now.

My 1st AF reported on 9th June. I took clomid and managed to see a positive LH surge ytd. I supposed I ovulated today. Today i experienced some cramps. I hope it's normal..

I hope I can strike this round. We bd every alternate days since CD5. ;p
 
Hi all,

My cycle used to be 28 days before and after I gave birth in 2006. It has been 28 days all this while but after I had mc and D & C, it is now 31 days for the past 2 cycles since I had d & c in April.

Does anybody have this experience? I wonder why the cycle is now longer.

Its really tough to go through 2 MCs. I am scared also of another MC. Its always at the back of my mind whenever I think of trying for another baby.

My cycle was 27days b4 DnC.After DnC last Dec,my 1st 2 cycles were oso abt 31 to 32days.Then it back to normal(27days) on the 3rd cycle.I tink it'll tak some times for our bodies to "refresh".

It hv been abt 1wk after my 2nd m/c.Thou i still feel tired,i feel relax as going bk to my normal life.I try not to tink too much abt MC...now patiently wait for my chromosome result then decide wat to do next.
 
Hi Avocado, that is exactly what I feel too. If we tried and failed, we can at least answer to ourselves with no regrets. It beats asking the "what ifs" years later. And abt the unstable state of mind, I have gone thru that period of high senstivity 2. Shunned many social events and jus wan to be alone as its very difficult to appear jovial while still grieving inside. All my frds asked me where I disappeared to. So I suppose we r normal to feel like that. Apart fr emotional trauma, its worsened by physical trauma of hormonal imbalance after mc.

Cheekz, my cycle changed fr clockwork of 27 days to longer cycles of 31 to 39 days after each mc. It will take a while to adjust back due to hormonal imbalance.

I am not sure if my cycle is longer now. My ovulation occurred later. My O used to be on CD12, now it's on CD14. So I supposed AF will be later. Maybe you ovulated later now. Have you started trying again?

I thought i am "abnormal".Coz I reali wanna so much to be alone at all times.I used to tok abt my probs wf frds,but i don't feel like talking anymore.Ppl who hasn't gone thru m/c,will nt know what we've gone thru.While ppl who gone thru m/c,i even find it hard to share wf them abt my sorrow in m/c,coz it'll bring up their past memories,not very nice...

My hb seems to be able to move on very fast,as compared to my 1st m/c...I know he has been nice to me,try to help me,but don't know i hv this frustration on him...coz he wasn't very operative fr. TTC throughout my preggie till m/c.He seem to tak things too lightly.He is the one who wanna 2nd child,but i am the one who works for it.

I wonder..r most of the men r like tat?They like to propose,initiate,but we women who is the one executing the tasks n suffer mentality n physically.

I'm ttc-ing now. Today is testing day but its negative.Used clearblue, so shd be v accurate hor? AF has not come yet.

I think I don't ovulate every mth. For first baby, we ttc for 5mths before I got preggie.

Hi, hope i could get advice from someone.

When is the best accurate time to take pregnancy test? Had my D & C done in March. Cycles is at 36-38 days. Today is my 41th day. My pregnancy test showed negative! VEry disappointed.
 
Hi Avocado, of course you are not abnormal. U r very normal. Becoz you have just encountered the most profound losses in life. To put it properly into words, we hve encountered the deaths of our children, born or unborn, there are still very profound losses to us and somehow, no other setback is as great to a woman as not being able to “protect” our own children. Its not like any other probs we encountered b4. So its very hard to talk abt it to others esp those who have never being thru it. U might want to be alone a while more, go with the flow yah. Once my husband was puzzled why I am avoiding all my frds and I told him “after all these, I am not the little gal u first knew, as there is always a scar and I need space and time”. He never asked me again. And now I am slowly seeing frds again. The pain is still there loh, its just being slowly integrated into everyday living. So be very patient loh, Avocado. I once read abt this Caucasian lady who could not get out fr her bed for 3 weeks after her mc as she felt so low. But I really think the sadness u r experiencing its very healthy and will make the recovery more complete. Of course u will never forget ur babies (what I meant by the scar) when u recover, they will become a part of u and u can be happy again with them in ur memory.

Guys are pretty much like that, they want something but sometimes they think that something can fall fr the sky. So I believe ur hubby is very concern but he is just like the “men are fr mars”. Actually its also normal that the father gets back to life faster because they did not go thru what we went thru such as monitoring of the level of morning sickness as we worry if our babies still alive or not, special food cravings and a growing tummy that suddenly disappeared. All these form the memories of our bbs that consistent remind us of them. But I think they also have a special place in their hearts for the bbs becoz sometimes my hubby also got tis very sad look suddenly. Am sure ur hubby too but he wants to be the str one for u.

Hey avocado, take ur time to grieve. Even up to today (my mc in Apr), I still feel very sad all of a sudden sometimes but I have accepted the “feel very sad suddenly syndrome” And just say out ur thots here whenever u feel like it k…for all u know, I am also feeling the same!

And cheekz and kymta, I find that the clearblue kit (with preg or not preg words) can only detect preg by week 5.5 or even later. A more sensitive test is the guardian inhouse brand (25mIU/ml). What u can do is to buy two and test two days apart. If u c a faint test line for the 1st test, test again after 2 days and if line gets darker, there is a high chance u have struck! Good luck!

I think it is very difficult for guys to talk about MCs. My hubby doesn't really talk to me and it is usually me who bring up the subject. However, surprisingly, quite a few of my hubby's male friends/colleagues (those who have wives who experienced mc) went up to him to offer a listening ear and to share their own sad experience. Some even cried while telling my hubby about their experience.

I am so surprised when my hubby told me. I didn't expect them to be so sensitive, since for some of them, it happened to them quite a long time ago.

I think men have their own way of expressing and perhaps, they don't want to let us see them cry.

After my mc, my mil cooked confinement food for me. I asked my hubby why must take confinement food, etc. I told him I was fine. He said I lost alot blood which I didn't believe becoz my pad wasn't that soaked. He looked really sad and told me that he had sneaked into Dr Chan's surgery room after my DnC to say goodbye to our baby while the nurse was settling admin stuff. He said he saw 2 large glass cannisters filled with blood and the remains of our foetus in lab container.

It was only then i realised that he had developed very strong feelings towards our #2, and was trying hard to let go as well.

hopefully what u say is true. i read in clearblue website it can detect up to 4 days before period is due. if not positive then my period is really haywire for the first time in my life!
 
Hi, was reading the messages. New here. I had my 3rd attempt at IVF last month. The BhCG blood test finally confirmed positive. A day later, I started to bleed/spot. It started with brown spotting, then one fine day became heavier.

Doc did another blood test. It went down to 300+. That was 11 Jun 08. I'm only starting to experience heaving bleeding yesterday and the cramps are killing me.

Also seeing Dr Loh from KKH.He's pretty good (at least that's what i think since its the 1st time i see him, and be successful) but just have too many patients. sigh..

How long will be bleeding last? Must eat confinement food? supposed to start on new job next week somemore!!!!!!!!
 
Hi Avocado, I can understand how you feel. Like what u hve mentioned, those whom have never m/c will never knw how we felt. I hve been telling my hubby even though I may be pregnant for not more than a mth. But i can feel that my baby is inside my body. Till now, I still feel very upset when i m alone. I even cry before i go to bed. Hubby try very hard to comfort me whenever he see me upset. He encourage me by saying we try again. This really make me feel very comfort.

Do go out & meet up your friend. After all, you need some fresh air. A healthy body will help in next conceive.

Btw, I m/c 2 wks ago but lately i felt my breast engorgement. Is this usual after m/c ?

Emily - sorry to hear about your loss..the bleeding stopped after 3 days for me and turned into spotting for another 1 week plus. everything should stop after 2 weeks. try to do mini confinement and do not take cold stuff for the time being. take care..

Ur hb is reali nice...I've been telling my hb many times but he seems to be not reali bothered n find me sad for nothing.
my hb is the other way round.He is now not keen to try.He is those who gives up easily.If the prob lie on him,then there is no chance to try coz my hb is very lazy type.He won't b bothered to tak any medication.
I tink it'll tak a while ur preggie symptoms to subside.My breast engorgement started to subside 4wks into my preggie.Tat was a very obvious symptoms tat I was going to m/c.

Ur hb muz b enduring his tears while saying good bye to the bb.I even oredi felt like crying when u mentioned ur hb said good bye to ur bb.

take some tang shen water with red dates good for you too and help to bu qi. Treat it as a daily fluid instead of taking plain water. Also, always try to take warm water. And if can take Ba zhen continous for 4 days then stop.

Here is some info:
Most women can expect their levels to return to a non-pregnant range about 4 - 6 weeks after a pregnancy loss has occurred. This can differentiate by how the loss occurred (spontaneous miscarriage, D&C procedure, abortion, natural delivery), and how high the levels were at the time of the loss.
Health care providers usually will continue to test HCG levels after a pregnancy loss to ensure they return back to 5.0.

hi ladies, can i check with you all, do you all feel more crampy throughout the cycle after the miscarriage? im having more cramp, more suan feeling.. i call up the clinic and the nurse said go if i cant tolerate... but i scare if its the cause that i did not do D&C for my miscarriage and just let it flow out, and if because infected or what

have tested the Guardian brand preg kit, still negative! Today is 43rd day, guess no chance liao. Do u think i should see a gynae for a scan and see what's wrong? Or should i wait for menses to come naturally? Isit normal for menses cycle to be haywire after MC (D & C) in March?

Sorry to hear bout ur loss too. My spotting stopped after 2 weeks.Do take care. I drank DOM which I didn't for my first confinement due to b-feeding. I think DOM is good to take before sleep. Helped me sleep better.

I actually have a friend who got preggie same time as me for 1st and 2nd baby. She's now in her 21 week. I'm supposed to be also. When I read in her blog bout her buying things, etc, I feel so sad. I feel happy for her, jus sad for myself.

I wonder how I will feel in Nov since that was supposed to be my EDD (5 Nov).

I haven't tested using the Guardian test. The last test was on Monday using clearblue and it was a BIG FAT NEGATIVE.

My boobs are swollen (like pre-preg or pre-period) for one over week. There were 3 occasions that I puked after dinner since last week. But I don't know if its anything to do with pregnancy though I have only puked when preggie.

I sense there is some hormonal imbalance. You see, after my MC, I had a massive back acne outbreak, but somehow if all cleared up this week.Usually, when I am preggie, my skin will be acne free!

But one thing for sure is, there is no implantation bleeding. So I guess pregnancy is out! For my previous pregnancies, I had implantation bleeding and tested positive thereafter.

Really sorry for long winded reply. I am v confused with my weird body symptoms. Actually, I don't have the "pregnant" feeling. So thats why I am not so hopeful. I'm just irritated that my AF has not come! I want to plan for next cycle. I bought Ovulation sticks this time

I am not sure if I shd go back to my gynae. Scared he scold me for asking stupid questions. He quite impatient one.

K, this is what happened for me. For my 1st preg, I tested with clearblue on the day my menses was due and it was a Negative word. So I tested with guardian kit and saw a very faint test line. 2 days later, I tested with clearblue and guardian test again, clearblue is still negative but guardian test line darkened to almost same as control line. And I confirmed preg at GP. Did u see any faint test line on guardian kit (that is 25mIU/ml)? K, as for menses after D&C, its very common to be haywire. My 1st cycle after D&C was 39 days & only got back to normal when I started TCM. So don't worry, if u r not preg, maybe u ovulated late. It took me about 3 cycles to get back my normal cycle length after D&C. If u don't get ur AF in about another week & test still negative, u might want to go for a v-scan to check on lining and ovaries for signs of ovulation. Really hope u strike but don't stress, can always ttc again next cycle.

Hi Cheekz, hope u strike also. For me, heavy breasts and no menstrual flow is the 1st sign of preg for both times.
 
For the ladies that have cycles that went haywire after d&c, maybe u can consider buying the Omron basal body thermometer from Guardian (at the counter where pharmacist works)to track ur bbt. That will give u a good idea of when u ovulated and also if u r pregnant. Get the bbt tutorial fr here:

I have a question for all, has anyone taken drugs to induce a miscarriage (drug name is Misoprostol) rather than go thru D&C? I read that many doctors overseas prescribe this drug to induce contraction of the uterus to pass out the foetus and placenta after a missed miscarriage rather than D&C. Has anyone done that procedure before? Thanks.

thanks for the info. i have some symptoms of pregnancy but the tests showed otherwise.
my last period was on 24th may (d&C on 24 April), so i'm about 1-2 days late only. i guess my cycle is really haywire now. hoping so hard that i will get good news, but logic tells me it can't be coz we didnt exactly have intercourse everyday.only during my forecast fertile period 6-12 June.Even if we strike on 12 June, i shd haf implantation bleeding now, right?

i'll check out the omron thermometer. Was thinking of getting clearplan, but its so expensive!

U most welcome cheekz. Actually I only got implantation bleeding once and not all the time. So perhaps not having that is inconclusive. Anyway, I hope u successful this time (u can test with the more senstive guardian kit) but if not, dont feel down becoz there is always next mth yah. Try to tell urself its a win win since if u get, its great news but if not, ur womb will hve more time to regenerate. Take the half cup full mentality & u be happier loh..

Di omron thermometer is abt $20, affordable and can double up as family thermometer. But just tell u it can't predict ovulation for the next cycle. The main use is to check that u ovulate each cycle and pinpoint when u ovulated for last cycle to give u a gauge of how ur ave cycle looks like. It can also tell if one has luteal phase defect. Clearplan price is crazy. Plus the refillables are also exp. Hey actually, I find the best way is cervical mucus. Quite accurate leh..

Ooo...but if we were to have intercourse during fertile period, its quite difficult to differentiate the discharge from semen, right?

Also, some pple ovulate but not much cervical mucous! I think I am one of them!

I read about anovulatory cycles, ie period but no ovulation.

My mense was haywire also after teh miscarriage. But i O late and manage to strike.

when for NT scan today. Baby is currently 7.6cm and in wk 13. Pass the NT scan. So now waiting for detail scan when i am in wk 20. Wish me luck.

my MS is still with me. Hope it goes off soon. As i have to go back to work on Mon. After a long 6wks MC.
 
Hello Cheerz, if u use cervical mucus method, u need to be very conscientious in checking say starting from day 8 after menses to see the change. Once u see a bit of stretchy transparent muscus, start bd that day and every other day & u won't go too wrong. If u hve very little muscus (important element to guide sperm to cervix and beyond), try to drink more green tea. I heard it helps but of course dont drink > 3 cups a day or near time u want to sleep.

yeah, I agree buying clearplan beats going to gynae every mth to check for ovulation which some people do.

hi cheekz, my 3rd cycle also went haywire. i am supposed 28days cycle before preg. after D&C, 1st cycle was 6 weeks. 2nd cycle very accurate on 28days. then 3rd cycle was 40days...late for so many says loh..i also test -ve for 3 test strips and realise that is my menses went haywire. actually wanted to see my gynae for scan, but i still waited until menses really reported. in fact, i only feel some cramps only. and no other preggy symthoms...and my 3rd cycle, still having very heavy flow and cramps. finally is completed and now i can start ttc again...is a tough cycle...

hi jappooh, wow ur bb is 7.6cm already so big le. congrats to u that u have pass the NT scan. very soon u will be able to see ur bb gender. ur wish to give ur child a sibling have finally came true.

i hope all of us here will have good news soon.
