You will first need to find a Fertility specialist. Depending on you want govt or private. Govt has more subsidies but am unsure on the waiting time. I am currently with VFC. You can check the forum on recommended doc. You will need to go thru blood test, scan and followed with medication and injects prescribed by the doc. the doc will monitor you closely on the follicles size before the iui. On the day of the procedure, they will insert ur hubb sperm into ur cervix. the procedure is very fast around 5mins and after that you can go back to your normal activity.

Prescription isn’t needed, at NUH they sell it at cashier, I almost bought it, but decided don’t buy now.
Virtus fertility centre.. is ard 900plus for the IUI procedure and is before all the meds test etc.. the cost depends on each individual as there are different med prescribed for each individual..u needa speak to the doctor first.. are you seeing any docs now?VFC for IUI or IVF? How much is it?

Upset ...... AF just reported... at first tried to be hopeful thinking is implanation bleed.. but getting heavier.. weird thing.. I'm on progestrone gel and only 12dpiui... Just dont understand why the sperm cant meet the eggs .. Dr still worried i have too many follicles but i went ahead with it.. now disappointed...
Got to call dr make appointment and start all over again... T_T

The entire procedure cost me approximately $850 (jab and medicine included).
Mine too.. The sperm cant penetrate the eggs. Probably due to the poor morphology.

I experience stomach cramping or discomfort since 2 days ago. Is it cos of the side effects of dydrogesterone? My side effects seems alot, even my breast also very pain and my skin also pop a few small small bumps like clogged pores, weight also increase a few kg and bloated. =....((
Anyone experience stomach cramping also during the tsw?

Hi, I facing the same issue as well for my third cycle of iui... Diarrhea for one week plus,stomach cramping, vomiting after dinner....Think hormone changed cause it...

Wow ur side effects more worse den mine. I also experience dirrhoea but it’s after taking the azithromycin. I got abit of phobia eating the antibiotic cos before the dirrhoea, I always experience sharp stomach pain which can be quite unbearable, this time round, I pain until I nausea and feel like vomiting also.

Thanks ! I just got the empty bottle from Thomson Medical Centre for my hubby's sperm collection. Since my hubby is still on his job probation, we are giving SO-IUI a try for the first time after his probation. So I still have some time to do more research as to which place is recommended for the SO-IUI procedure that does not cost so much. Is Thomson Medical Centre recommended ? Is the procedure expensive ?

I think my AF is reporting... Some blood can be found on the panty liner and today is only 12dpiui. I don't have any symptoms and was hoping that my TCM med can support the fertilization and implantation. oh well... got to wait for Doc appointment in Oct for IVF option. sianz.
Sorry to hear that.. but if 12dpo gt spotting and AF never report it could be implantation bleeding?.. Btw.. if going thru fertility treatment can see TCM? any conflict? if not i also wanna try tcm sigh.. is like giving everything a shot... T_T
This month i cant start on my #2 iui.. just U/S monitor and time intercourse coz i have a cyst.. sigh... and not advisable to go for any injectable treatment except on clomid for ovulation and trigger shot.. not too promising as my hub is not in town and he will only be back on the day of my trigger.. going crazy soon haha..

Its AF reporting. Super heavy due to the jabs. My physician from EYS sees it as complementary. In the morning i will take western pills and 2 hrs later take TCM. ya i am giving everything a shot. i even asked my hub if we should try geomancy. he said i crazy.
im just worried that the jabs and tcm med might clash. lol
but if you believe then maybe can try geomancy.. feel so tired maybe i should take a break

i went for a vacation to Australia before the cycle. i thought it will work because i cam back feeling refresh and relax. oh well... i will plan for a short break bef ivf.
think i will go c tcm.. i got a gut feeling this month TI also fail.... cz hub unwell .. i can feel you.. jus take break first bah.. jiayou!

I also dont know leh, I read so many forums, asked so many friends:
1) vitamins -- my husband swallows a dozen of these and sad to say none of these works (it works for others tho')
2) exercise -- my husband also exercised but apparently nothing changes
3) TCM -- lagi worse, spent hundreds of dollars to find out the TCM physician knows nothing about varicocele.
4) Did varocelectomy to correct the varicocele -- spent 15K to find out at the end of the day his other surrounding veins are affected as well.
I think none of these works on DH because he has a varicocele, not because of his bad diet/exercise diet to begin with (he dont even eat junk food and we ate basmati/organic brown rice at home). Hence I think no amount of vitamins/exercise/tcm will work (unless got miracle).
DH analysis is low morphology (2%), the other parameters within normal range.
Anyway, the waiting time in NUH is superb. I waited less than 10 mins (if you are on the dot for your appt) for consultation and 20 mins for payment during peak hour. During non-peak, the duration is definitely shorter. So far I've quite a pleasant experience in NUH clinics. Efficient and the nurses are friendly.

are you on progestrone pills? sometimes it might mimics pregnancy symptom.. 9piui could also be implantation cramp.. as long af doesnt show, you are not out.. dont symptom spot .. good luck! i have given up on this cycle.. only manage to bd once cz hub travel and unwell wasted my trigger....

So u just did the procedure, then not on any med before and after right? Did u have the trigger shot?

Yes I have med for 5 days and trigger as well.. But after procedure no medicine. This coming Sat will be 2 weeks. Cramp gone but having sore breast. No sure if it is a fail cycle

Post iui day 14 with trigger .. Still negative .. No sign of af except little sore breast and on and off cramp.. Did any one get positive after day 14? Feeling down when seeing the negative result..
I read some forum but not sg forum some only gets positive after 17DPO..
Any good news?
