i know how it feels like to go away on hols w/out your ds. the guilt, etc. but trust me, it WILL be good for you, so just go for it. you will get to see your ds in 4 days' time.
i was like that too when i left for my 1st hols aft dd was born. some more dd was only 2.5mths old and i went to NY w/ hubby for 10 days leh! i felt bad abt going and really missed her, but i kept telling myself i REALLY needed the break and it would do me a lot of good.
anyway, she was in really good hands being taken care of by my parents so i didn't have to worry at all.
aft that it got a little easier leaving her for short spells of time. hubby and i have gone for 2 more hols w/out dd (one of them was to BKK this yr), and she's been fine. in fact i think she hardly missed us leh! everytime we call her she will tell us abt the fun she's having w/ grandparents, then can say 'Bye-bye, sarah wanna go play already!!" hee....

This ROM dress is I design one leh. I like it simple lor. Then the Bridal shop did say tat I'm quite voluptuos so can try something low cut. Then tat time, i bought lots of bridal magazines, then flip here & there, then design this dress out. Then my package includes MTM this dress lor. Most of my relatives & friends said the dress is sexy, simple & elegant lor. I'm quite happy wif myself for designing this. But 1 of my uncle said y u wana go bare back then at the back got 1 strip like bra strap like tat. keke.... I tink at tat time the trend like got something like tat, so I added in lor plus I loved buttons so added in 3 clothed buttons at the back.
I got boobs but then my boobs not nice one leh. I mean it's not perky kind. Sorry ya to discuss this here. haha.... If not support dont look nice lor.

I dont mind to wear a little bit more sexy coz I feel it's once in a lifetime. haha, as long as it looks nice & suits me, I tink I'll go for it lor.

It's better to have a simple and yet elegant gown like what you mentioned. Short-list the hotels and remember to get a few auspicious dates...as next year is 2008. As long as dates which don't fall into Chinese 3rd and 7th month will be 'hot' like 20.8.08 or 8.8.08.

I spent quite a bit for this ROM coz everything NEEDS $$$$$$$. If including my 1 week trip to Tailand after our ROM, tink we spent close to 8K. Sounds incredible right? I was shocked myself after we came back from our trip & did the sums. keke...
Carlton hotel's food was not badz lah, juz they have the ROM's package. U can use the waterfront area if u book their ballroom lor. Then it's very convenient coz the waterfront area is juz outside the ballroom. The hotel itself is abt 3K coz we have abt 8 tables then. U go into their website check.
Then flower arrangements, I purposely got some floral company to do for me one coz if not, will look very plain lor. Floral arrangements itself is abt $600.
Hotel - $3000
Flower - $600
Photography - $350
Videography - $400
Bridal Package - $1000 (coz wana get a free MTM dress lor )
Trip - $1500 (coz we spent quite a lot then, somemore dont like the stupid hotel so we change hotel midway)
The rest are those small small things lor, everything oso need $$$. Ang Bao's, door gifts, instant camera, films, guest book ( wa, my guest book very expensive abt $30+ coz bought from the PRINTs, I oso cant remember much liao.
