I went in to induce at 9am, tot after induce go eat Mac...but they strap me on ctg immediately though I said im vvvv hungry! End up having to starve for few hrs before getting some food. I think i looked v greedy to the nurses... I try my luck to ask for food, I said even a small biscuit also can, each time a diff nurse came n...All rejected me. Ended up my hubby smuggle some for me while I'm on ctg... So girls eat full full before u admit urself!

I lagi worse, had nasi lemak before I went to hospital thinking i won't be delivering on that day, so just eat breakfast first. Who knows after that, I had to go into labour and nurses were laughing at me coz' my surgery had to wait till my nasi lemak get digested and ask me why of all things eat nasi lemak. Aiyoh, but glad I did anyway coz' I had to wait till late at night like 8-ish before I could have my first meal and only soft diet allowed.

Very important to bring pump coz' have you might have engorgement and baby cannot latch yet and you have colostrum/milk to express out.

Yes, the hospital sterilised my pump for me.

If it's being cooked already it should be ok. But if you wanna take DOM neat, then yes, must wait a few hours before breastfeeding.

Don't worry, ur bb will let u know if he's hungry... They just have this instinct to open their mouth n scout ard when they wanna drink milk. Just latch.. Shd have some colostrum coming in... I don't give night feed at hospital, but I hand squeeze less than 1oz i also just bring to the nurse to feed my boy

Yes, rightfully they won't and shouldn't. They would label the 'cot' with "Total Breastfeed" if you told them right from the start that you want to breastfeed your baby totally.

And they will bring baby to you when it's time to feed.

Ya I checked with the nurse too! Think he's too tired jus wanna sleep but was hoping he will latch since I have the professionals to help.. cos if go home no one to help me with bfing Le. To be honest, I have phobia of bfing

I thinl no choice but to go for formulae..
But the nurse here mention.. by day 2 they will latch on and by time it will increase the milk supply.. so no worries babe

dont b stress, will sure have enough to provide for ur baby. initially I tot this round my breast not so full compared to 1st bb, was relieved, but the engorgement has alrdy set in in less than 2 weeks.. jiayou!

Hospital will have btl.. as during my first pregnancy my girl need to stay another day in hospital so at home I pump n store in the avent container and ask hubby to send to hospital to let my girl drink..

Just finished checkup... baby is 3.1kg, engaged and I am 2 cm dilated! Put on ctg now to monitor contractions. Doc say prob within the week!!!
