Hi ladies... went for my check up today too and did urine test. All clear and baby is now 12xxg at 27 weeks. I put on 10.8kg
Gynae says all is normal and well. But my baby turned a bit to my right so now my uterus is pressing against some nerves which is causing my right butt to feel some pain sometimes when I walk or sit in a certain way on the floor. Went for my antenatal exercise class and the therapist recommended a stretching exercise. Hope that helps cos yesterday while I was walking, I felt so much pain that I lost some control of my right leg and limped
It comes and goes...
Fleurfleur, try not to think too many negative thoughts about the office restructuring. Stay positive or else your negative emotions may affect the baby. Sometimes things aren't as bad as we imagine it to be.
Re kidnapping news, I don't know if this is a "cover up" to prevent the public from mass panic, but I think common sense tells us that we should always keep an eye on our kids no matter how safe a place may seem. Just because S'pore is known for being generally safe doesn't mean we should let our guard down. Meanwhile the public should also let the police do their job instead of spreading rumours about foreign workers and all that.
