i also wanna a more stable job..tats why plan to quit but dunno can be able to find job bo. But 1st have to settle my ML issue first. If nt end oct have to come back to work, and my "mao" boss take leave also very hard to approve 1.

aiya, i got confused liao. just realised the cd the seller talking about is the one for $7 de. the box set : My First Nursery Rhyme CD Box Set ( 1 ) - $21.00 is the same but cheaper.

i notice there are DVD for flash cards. I wonder if buy the DVD is better? But then i worry for his eyesight if let him watch Tv leh... *checking what others buying*

how heavy is Kyler now? read that baby can suddenly engage during labour one right? did you check with your gynae about it? i think head down is the most important, engage doesnt really mean anything de lor. Zachary been engaged since 2 weeks + ago but still nothing happen.
next week check up then you'll know the date to induce? did you check with gynae if your cervix is ripe?

my gynae din do VE for me cos he feel still early (wk 36 6day)somemore baby not engage yet.. so he say nex tues will decide..

ya baby can suddenly engage actually when he scan the head it quite low liao but maybe to his std is not engage yet cos he say his patient so far engage will deliver within a wk... Kyler ah his weight is 2.885kg i suspect becos his new machine setting not v well set yet so like not v accurate.. but doesn't matter cos est nia...

congrats to all those who have already delivered - more than 10% of the list and its not even aug yet!
just to share, i have 3 sarong slings, 1 ergo carrier + another tommy tippee carrier... so no lor, not too many - like that dirty already can wash and also can let different parts of the body rest mah!
going to see my OB later too, to do the CTG - last visit, he claims that i will prob deliver this week... dunno real or not!
fyi, with regards to flashcards, the first few weeks shd use only black/white/red flashcards for baby.

i personally feel DVDs flashcards is no good...i saw some documentary b4...saying if expose bb to tv or computer too young..then their concentration span will not b good...cos tv/computer flickers alot

Good afternoon ladies,
I've delivered this morning, 28 Jul, to bb gal Edeline, 3.2kg, natural with epi, at 38 weeks.
Last night, 8:30pm admit to Mount A due to show and contractions every 10 minutes.
Went straight to delivery ward, put on ctg, cleared bowels, put on glucose drip, nurse checked I'm 4 cm dilated with soft cervix.
Around 9:45pm, aneasthesist came, poke me twice on my back for epi !! So pain i teared
He said "the more you move, the more injections you'll get".
Around 12am, another nurse came to clear my urine, checked that I'm 7 cm dilated.
Around 130am, another staff nurse came, found that my water bag has burst, fully dilated, can deliver anytime. I requested to off epi. They reduce from 8ml to 1ml drip. Nurse called for my gynae.
Meanwhile, practised pushing with the midwife. I requested for a mirror to see, can see bb's head. Gynae reached my ward pretty fast, surprised. Legs were numbed but within few pushes, bb came out and immediately put on me. She's very warm.
Ok, gotta go. Take care gals.

you try to walk more...more than usual I mean hopefully next week your cervix is ripe. This word "ripe" so funny like forbidden fruit ripe

walkin depend 1.. i been walkin alot too.. like my friend walk so much but her cervix also dun open.. some dun walk but open so fast... now v worried if cervix not ripe nex wk how? my Hb will miss the delivery

i remember i was induced for #1, that time think the cervix also not ripe also successful, so dun worry lah just induce next week irregardless since your hb is back, very impt!

Sharon, the last round I also moved abit during epi coz contraction comes very strong then I kena scolding too. Think must ask for epi earlier if not too pain cannot stay still.
Piggy, boh bian lor... Try walking more and see if it helps for your case.

wah u gave me confident manz... i feel much better now... cos my gynae was like try not to induce me when my cervix not ripe wor... somemore i got no prob with water level etc...

Hi ladies,
Seeing all the mummies here waiting for d big day to come makes me miss that anxiety before i delivered.
Now that everything is over, its really what people always say:"Delivering a baby is just liddat only loh". SO, do not worry ladies, your time will come and in no time, you would be hugging that little sweetie in your arms soon ;p Actually, i do very much miss that particular moment when my boy pops out n i held him in my arms for the very first time.. How i wish i could have that moment all over again...

my hubby jus fixed up the cot earlier on.. lookin at the cot made me anticipation higher..

Piggy, the Epi injection is painful. Its not the same like the usual injection. But the contraction pain is so painful till you will think the epi injection is nothing.
Sharon, I think cannot move when the needle is in your body leh. If you move abit when the aneasthesist is aiming or haven't poke in still not so bad...just kana scolding only.

but still there is a risk involve maybe tt wat my gynae concern.. so much to worry abt also scare pelvic bone narrow.. if i insist on induce n my gynae warn me abt the failure i really dunno if i have the guts to proceed anot

cos someof my friend had epi be4 contraction kick in n they say not v pain wor cos they got numb the surface first... n so far pp i known told me epi is not v painful so i got the perception it not tt painful lor... but i tink dpend on the skill n individual pain threshold also bah..

in the prenatal class, we learn swaddling..like v easy...but when i see tis video...its becomes so difficult when bb is moving...oh no...its scary
