Sharon, its not difficult to swaddle the baby. You can watch how the nurse do it and you will find that its easy. The nurse don't care baby moving or pain or what and they just wrap confidently.

yen,
i dunno abt drip induction...mine was just one pill. I checked in the hospital midnite then the nurse insert the pill into my vaginal, I can walk around as per normal...also slept as per normal. Then next morning ard 7~8am the nurse said I was 2cm dilated go to delivery ward. There they burst my water bag b4 i got my epi (me damn buay song! ) continued waiting even fall asleep after got the epi.

By 11am, the nurse woke both me and my hb up, told us I am about 6cm dilated asked my hb want to go eat lunch or not...my hb said too excited to eat. Then in less than 1 hour 12plus I was fully dilated ready to give birth lor.

Piggy, oh...got numb the spine 1st ah? I didn't know that. I can feel the thick needle poking into my spine lor thats why I say its painful.

Sharon, I also scared I will move ah. Maybe try to grab onto the bedrail lor. And get the nurse to help hold you down.

i cannot remember the epi being so painful wor...but the feeling of ppl going to poke yr back make your spine shivers lah.

yah there is always the risk of fail to induce then got to seek alternative for the cervix to open...

Celine, after reading your birth story for no.1, I am very sure I am those who dilate super slow one. I was already 2.5cm dilated when I admit hosp at 7plus and it was till morning 7am then I was fully dilated! So hor...I think I can wait till next week then deliver liao!

then maybe the aneasthesist skill no gd cos my sis n friend say when the needle poke it u will feel suan suan more like shiver den pain.. accordin to them will numb the skin surface of the area they pokin first not the spine... so i not v sure wor.. but so far none told me it super painful wor..

yes you are right, my buddy and cousin both failed to induce in the end go to emergency c-sect. Hence both of them said it was not a good experience....as they saw the heart beat of bb dropping then doc panic faster push them to c-sect delivery ward...

Celine, I admit hosp at 7plus 2.5cm dilated since 2 days ago gynae's checkup.
Then shaved and given enema then move to delivery ward.Gynae came at 8plus and break my waterbag and give me drip.
Given epi at 11plus when I cannot tahan the pain.
Only fully dilated at 7am.

Super long rite???? Plus the push for 1 hr!!!!!!!! Where got people push 1 hr one??? Everyone says a few pushes except me!!!!

Celine, I think the nurse call my gynae at 7am and she ask the nurse to get me to practise 1st. Who knows my son still quite high so I need to push and push.
My gynae only arrived at 8am when I nearly blackout. She tells me to do it one last time and heng heng I managed to push out as she is about to get the vacuum already.

Sharon, its because my son is still high up and I think maybe I am really very small built too.That's why this round I refused to go hosp too early.
