Ovann also enjoyed his gymboree class ystday and like edric, he also fell asleep during the car ride home
For My Gym at tampines, i'm also quite interested but i think the youngest they take in is 10mths old leh. So i think gotta wait for a mth

yes. can feed bb huai shan. huai shan is very mild, and are roots vegetable. I boil huai san soup with carrot n chicken during preggie times too.

during the class, there's some singing and dancing (more like parents hold baby and shake), then encourage baby to explore the baby gym area. it's fun if baby is more mobile, else I felt quite waste $$

I'm half hearted whether wanna sign up cos it's far. But it gives Ovann the space and has all those equipment for him to climb around. It's not so tiring for me cos if at home, i hv to keep bending down, carry him over to the mat, place him there, only to have him crawl around the house again. Back-breaking siah. At least this one we dun hv to keep on carrying bbs. I find that kindermusik is more tiring than gymboree cos have to keep carrying bb & move along with the songs.

i always get the menu with their signature mee siam or laksa...EVERY of my guests compliment on the laksa and each have more than 1 helping...hahahahahhaa...thats when i ordered during my wedding....
The next two times i ordered after that, a few of their dishes was not as good anymore....

but i can only take pizza hut cos that is the only place that provide vege. if the final place is not there its ok, i can just go down and meet you all after i meet my friends.

oh dear, i'm soooo tired n grumpy n frustrated these days
sam is so active n is crawling n climbing ard all day. i'm zombified from chasing him n carrying him away from danger zones n picking him up after the umpteenth fall/knock! anyone else having this problem?
yesterday was the pits! mil n sil both started in on me.. saying sam's flesh is too soft, not enough nutrients, he's skinny, asking me to feed sam sishen powder. when i asked them what was in it, they cudn't tell me. i said i dun feel comf with feeding sam herbs n they hastily assured me that it's meant for babies, it's safe, it's great, it's for improving appetite blah blah.. but they dinno what it was exactly. maybe i'm anal, but i aws wanna know why, what, how etc instead of just accepting. i told hubs n he was against feeding sam sishen too, so i guess at least we're on a united front on this.
then sil remarked on y sam doesn't have any teeth. n how the old folks say 7-sit, 8-crawl, n 9-teeth. but this is from the old days, n bbs now shd be faster. her own kids started sprouting teeth earlier too... started speculating that sam doesn't have enough calcium, so not teething. then mil started on her sam shd eat cheese theory (i'm not against this, but i have to go out n buy the cheese n i'm not sure what kinda cheese he can eat yet). THEN sil started saying maybe shd feed sam fm. i din reply coz i was pretty sian by then, n i was busy in the kitchen washing rice n stuff to cook sam's porridge n i cudn't really hear. so she added that just to sub 1 milk feed a day with fm.. blah blah..
talk abt aerial bombardment!
is it true that 9 mths is way too late for teething? i need to google n read up.. n on the cheese thing.. zzzzz

We drove to Malacca with baby in April too.
Are you driving there too? remember to pack some titbits for baby and also at least 1 serving of cereal (can easily make in the car) or have those canned baby food on hand.
We went in during public holidays and due to Jam, took us 6 hrs to reach Malacca! Luckily I managed to feed him in his car seat.
