915 & Shers - mine confirmed is daddy's gal... cos her bed is adjoined to ours n hubby sleeps between us.
when i put her to bed (hubby taking a shower) so i will 'lay' beside her, she can tells me dat's her daddy's spot, n when i said then where u want me to lay down (she points to e other end of e bed) n scared then i angry, she can tells me to 'hold hands', i so 'piss off' (not sure to laugh or cry) i told her, how u want to hold hands when u told me to lay over here, my hands not long lah... she can turn to her side n fall asleep

depend on hospital when baby can go home if born early. for KK, baby must be wk35 above before can go home. for thomson, my dr say dun matter as long as baby is 2kg above

915 - initially i tot is a fluke on e milk thingy but once hubby went outstation n she told me 'daddy makes milk', i told her daddy 'outstation, won't be home till XX date, so mummy makes can?'..
she said 'no, daddy makes nicer' n lay down to sleep... i tot to myself 'Wa!!! my 'milk making' so 'bad' till she can go 'hungry'" *sad leh*

yep we share the same edd!

I still hope to only deliver towards end of Apr partly because my confinement nanny wouldnt be available too if early. And I'm really scared this time round cos no induction needed like my first..waiting for signs...wat if I'm not in time for epi...i'm super lousy when comes to pain threshold.

Re milk,
Often my hub will also make milk for # 1 too. Recently, he happened to passed the bottle of milk to me for my boy alrdy lying on the bed. Usually din really take note but that day I thgt to myself the milk really looks delicious!! haha..like cafe's milk latte or teh tarik. Very thick, n milky...prolly that also means lots of air in there but so far my boy is ok...haha..

My ger would prefer me to do everything, bathe, make milk etc. I would force my hb to do the milk making for her at night. Hahaha...

Jen, I am opp urs cos my ger wont allow hb to sleep on my spot. She is a very straight ger actually.

audrey, shers - thanks for the encouragement. i'm prepared for c-section.
i've been joking that c-section is more my style - just go to sleep, wake up and the baby is next to me.

re: hubby
my housework duty is limited to washing clothes in the machine and hanging them too.

i was very spoilt when we first got married. told him that if need to do housework, then we move back to my mum's place. i already engaged a maid for my mum.
i'm very lucky that he does the housework. although my house is very messy, but "ppl who don't do work, cannot make too much noise". so i better keep quiet.
but i agree with rc_cola, must give specific instructions if i want him to get it right.

chocolat, actually i didnt resist myself to alot of 'restricted' food unless specified by gynae..

throughout both of pregnancies, i ate sashimi lor.. esp salmon but eat with lots of wasabi (my mum says at least can kill bacteria?) whahhaa..

cockles, i didnt eat because i dont really like the taste..

whether can eat ornot, its up to individual.. i just eat.. whahah.. somemore my hb and me dine out freq coz both of us working and no cooking at home.. and we tend to eat jap food every week..

anyway , for my 1st, I was dilated 1-1.5cm at ard 32 weeks think due to the impact of a traffic accident and I had contractions n placenta detachment. Luckily bb din come out then gynae then induced me at 38 weeks cos of the detachment. Was on total bed rest then. So I think being dilated still can tahan for some weeks juz that gynae mentioned 2nd one will be faster that's wat makes me panic..hahaa

shers, my hubby is almost like yours...when i ask him to do something for me...after he done, i must praise him..then he will be happy liao and more willing to do for me another thing...haha...they are like kids sometimes...for the first time he make milk drink for me, then i say the milk taste very nice...from that day onwards he very auto, everyday will make the milk for me...

chocolat: i ate cockles in laksa. *guilty* made sure it was stuffed way down into the hot hot soup before eating tho.. sashimi i also ate, in fact i jus eat watever i wanted.. =p beef also i had medium rare.. shiokness.. n it's hb who order for me one!! he say once in awhile medium rare is ok.. =D i guess all foods are ok bt in moderation la.. tio bo shers?? =)

shers, if you are 36 weeks 3 days today, and ur edd is 9 may..

that means i am 37 weeks 2 days because my edd is 3 may so i am 6 days ahead..

how come my gynae says i'm 36 weeks only?

Please watch what you eat for the remaining few weeks..The food poisoning rojak case at Geylang Serai just claimed 2 lives ...1 57 yr od lady and another 2 month old fetus of a 38 yr od lady

how many of you started your ml already?

also, if u standby ur hospital bag, are u going to keep it in the car + the car seat?

for my #1, my waterbag burst in the middle of the night @ home so we just took the bag and car seat and left for the hospital.

but i'm wondering if its possible to go into labour while u're out of the house, wouldn't it be trouble some to come all the way home and then all the way to the hospital?

also, did any of you drink essence of chicken before u went into the labour ward to boost ur energy? after my water bag burst, by the time i was 10 cm dilated, it was past 24hrs since i slept...i was totally exhausted and cannot push the baby out. had to use forceps.

someone suggested to me to drink essence of chicken before i go to labour ward so i will haf strength to push. anyone had this advice before?

i been drinking essence of chkn long ago...cuz even before having baby i will low blood after menses...thus my mum ask me drink...then i drink every morning loh...

now i drink bird nest...so i dont really drink essence of chkn le...but still i try to drink 2 times in a week...

my mum says its too heaty to drink everyday..
i think don't drink yet.. the advice i was given was to drink before going into labour ward.. and maybe during (if got time to drink)..

so don't hurry yet..

i think deep down i'm scared la but i tell myself no need to be scared.. just look fwd to carrying baby and everything will be ok!

i didn't do anything to bring it down.. it swelled up badly, went down slightly, swelled up badly again, den went down abit.. den finally now its totally gone.. about 2-3 times..

u noe old pple believe that if its 2-3 times means labour is approaching...haha!

yah my hb was saying wah if pop on 1st may.. u go into labour on labour day.. and i was like -_- so lame hurhurhur but yah its corny haha!

yah and every year bb can celebrate birthday and no need to worry if pple can make it or not.. its a holiday.. sure can make it.. and have many many presents

Hi Audrey, I think your gynae is right that you are about 36 weeks. My EDD is 4th May 09 and I am 36 weeks 1 day today, so you should be 36 weeks 2 day today if your EDD is 3th May.
