my bm also same as urs... no heart to pump these days. jus latch whenever my gal wans. at least i dun see the amt i pump, not so stress.

ju, ya i also latch if he cries...but seems like everytime he let go but his mouth still searching for milk...then he suck no milk, he will cry very loud...i cant take it...so give him fm loh..dunno why i feel my b sore but only pump out 30-40ml...

Reporting back to forum..still no sign...Hubby gonna bring me to vivo to walk walk again later. Seems like no amt of walking or shopping helps leh..But the cramps on the 2 sides are getting more painful..

My aunty who help me massage on Friday commented that I have too much water retention &amp; I really have to reduce the no. of times washing my hair! Hence, now have to endure with oily hair/itchy scalp till tmr!

jamie, wah, u doing good! i was so scared to poo -- though KKH gave me the stool softener... after 5 days then i pooed -- that's like spending an hour "looning" in the toilet!

my gal also leh... daytime on bm, she need to latch every half to 1 hour. sore &amp; tired...
she also like to bite in before suckling... grrr..

i find medela purelan good for sore nipples. u may wan to try.
 
Adv sport and juju, baby bites our nipples to soften them apparently. So before you latch, give your nipples a rub to soften them. For me, sometimes I use a hot towel to clean myself and at the same time, soften the nipples. Yup, juju, purelan is good. My gynae gave me a pair of 'Mother Mates'. It's effective as well

Wash hair:
Cant believe you gals are so disciplined. I wash my hair on alternate days with the herbal shower. Cant tahan the sweat and oily smell... My mum told me I am going to have 'tou feng' in future...

Okipoki, so you have neogarden for the full month. Wanted to use them as well cos food was good during #1's full month but this month, another relative of mine also celebrated his son's full month using neogarden. Therefore, if I order from them, my relatives will be having neogarden twice in a month!!! no advisable yah?
 
oki, i had the curry, sechuan fish yest fr neo garden.. haha...n oso the eclairs..! so nice!! yummy! but cant eat much la.. just abit..keke..

adv sport...speaking of B size, mine also a bit diff, except it's right bigger than left. baby seems to prefer right side and tat side seems to get full faster than left. i wonder if i shld try to nurse him more on left side to even it out. :s

Hi Mummies,

I'm in my 17th day, still pumping out 60ml from both breast in total only...Discouraging...Reduce to 1 pump a day liao. Baby latching every 2 hrs for at least 30-45mins. No chance to pump at all...Some more can hear her tummy growling while she is latching on...My mil say prob milk not enough...

Seems like a lot of mummies planning full month celebration, my mil (dun want people crowd at the house) and hubby (to accommodate me and mil - restaurant) not very keen... my mum say just give cakes to frens and relative enough already. Is that normal? 3 against 1. So the whole idea may be dropped, just settle on cakes... quite sad tat not celebrating for her...

In fact I kept hinting to bring my girl out on 3rd week. But my mil just not keen, and she does not want too many people at my house too. I really wonder wat is the rational to tat... Sigh...She's been helpful... It's prob gen gap I guess.

Anyway, I will be trying my hand on bathing the baby tomo. Hope I could cope...

melody...why not do a simple dinner if u're not keen of the crowd? i'll be doing a lunch buffet for abt 15pax for baby's 1st mth. and for some reason, the ppl never come at the same time..so no crowd.

porky...i really want to eat curry fish head. tat will be my 1st meal after confinement..hehe.

i also feel the same. my mum is the fussy one, she doesn't like pple to come to the house. until now, no one has visited me or baby. cos she don't like. sian.

and my mil says that swine flu don't celebrate. i feel v sad also cos its my first child and that i never do any celebration for her..

den i feel v bad, everytime i latch her, i always say sorry to her. den she will smile at me. make me feel worse!!!!

somemore all my friends are asking me when is her one month party..zzz..
