I hav decided on Mt A...same as last time...quite okie wif Mt A.... I only decided on my hospital after 2nd trimester leh...

Ya Sun, got direct bus to go there when parents want to visit at Mt A.

That time my mother every morning asked my father to send her there to company when my dad go to work (on his way) and she went back during noon time, so convienent.

Week 18 - Detailed scan of baby
By Week 32 - gynae's clinic ask hospital for delivery/bed preference

mummies, if yur pants r getting too tight....
there are ways around it right now, rather than buying bigger sizes (which only fits yur waist but not rest of body), wear a longer top and leave yur pants unbutton (of coz must make sure zip works!). or u can buy this waist expander thing from maternity shops, it's an attachment to widen the waist so yur pants last longer. or if u r cheapie (like me!) just loop a rubber band from button into buttonhole then back to button.

Haha....that means your pocket will have alot of holes before taking up package. Lucky, mine gynae allow to take up package after wk 12 if not my pocket quite quite big hole liao.

wat also helps are those flare skirts with rubber band waist. i used to wear them a lot when i was working. they lasts throughout my whole pregnancy. the tops just keep getting longer and longer to accommodate my growing tummy.

dresses are great too! i find most maternity dresses so frumpy though, plus dun really wana wear them too early coz pple would know! for working, i find separates better, more formal looking.

I find it quite hard to find those flare skirts with rubber band. But rubberband won't be too tied also although stretchable.

i also feedback to gynae before that his charges is abit ex but he say he will only confirm package when pregnancy is consider stable. Sometimes due to complication cases (early termination of pregnancy etc), it's difficult to establish refund bah. I got some medical history c/o this gynae so it's best to stick to same gynae as he knows my condition best

now we early stage can still go to norm boutique to try on n buy... like my frenz w a tummy in her 2nd trimester, boutique sales ger said their dress not meant for preggy woman n dun allow her to try... but the dress material is expanded 1 so sure can wear but the sales ger juz dun let her...

Yes Im seeing my gynae which Im seeing the last time. My 1st I went to see her when Im 6 weeks and that time I got spotting. So have to see her like every 2 weeks until my baby is stable. This time round I decide to see her abit later.
For clothing I also didn't buy many for maternity clothes, mostly I buy those queen size clothes as maternity clothes is costly and don't really worth buying. There is 1 shop at TPY near to the Bata shop there, they sell bigger sizes clothes and cheap as most are over-stocks from factory.

Re: Affordable Maternity Wear

There is a shop @ Bt Timah Beauty World which sells affordable maternity wear. It's called "Carrano" @ #03-06, Beauty World. This shop sells all sorts of stuff, like hair accessories, fashion wear, children clothings etc.

What amazes me is that they have a wide selection of maternity wear. From pants to 3/4 pants, tops etc. All the pants are for maternity wear as they have the "expandable tummy portion" which has a piece of stretchable rubber band in the seam. And all the pants is less than $30 each (can u imagine!) Found a few pieces of jeans too, also tailored with "expanded tummy portion", also less than $30, if I remember correctly.

I also manage to take a look and found that they have quite a no. of affordable cotton tops too. Those soft cotton plain coloured tops but with simple patterns, also about $24 each only.

Of course, the worksmanship or the material cannot beat those maternity wear shops in town. But at only 1/3 of the price in town, I think this will be a good place for mums who don't want to spend too much on maternity wear

Its depends. I thinking of getting abt 2 - 3 more dresses. So that i gt enough to wear when going to work.
 
i bought a few normal clothes tt have big cutting for bumps one

3 for 35. coz buy from fren's fren who happen to bring her clothes bought frm bkk to sell during my fren daughter bday party..

wad worries me is the bottoms. haha

i'm considering gleneagles coz my gynae's clinic is there so i tink he oso prefer gleneagles... at least he can pop in when he's needed rather than need to travel... but i oso prefer MT A coz nearer to AMK... realli dun noe which 1 to choose... hahaha

Not to worry abt your gynae travelling, coz that day you might not be the only person he will visit. He may go and visit some other of his patients in Mt A too.
