Sun, ya quickly intro porridge to ur boy, my gal loves it!

Mummies, my gal milk intake also reduce liao to 500 to 600ml of milk per day...

mangogal
really? she is really fertile.

BTW, ladies, I m thinking how to break the news to my boss, I actually felt embarassed and she may not take it positively as we hv so much work to do, so many targets to hit

Donroxx, Starflower
Noted and thanks for the info on brown rice. Yep, my gal has had bad constipation twice lasting 4 days so will be extra careful reintroducing some of the foods.

Scrumpee
Congratulations! OMG indeed!! We're soo busy and tired with just one bb to BD these days so no luck there! Although not planning to strike this year. Hehee. Take care and eat well! Round two, here you go girl.
happy.gif

Scrumpee, hee she has 5 children of cos fertile la..
happy.gif
Why not you make appt to see Dr Chua 1st, see what she say n later break the news to inform ur boss

babe
I m actually tired to BD too, like we only BD once a week or like once every 2 weeks for the past few mths. And I strike. Have a feeling is another birdie althought a gal will be nice. Before today, hubby has been trying to get me interested as I think we did not do it last week, but I keep pushing him away cos really no mood. Now that I preggy, I guess he has to be a monk again for the next nine mths lor.

Scrumpee - 1st of all I wan to CONGRATULATE you... hehe... exactly the smae timing as me. Meaning to say ur next one born ur boy will be 15 mths old... Just like me lah...
Well... look at me... I am coping well... good luck... ;p

Sassy and Jasmin
Thanks.

Sassy,
must consult u liao. I think I hve to get a maid for my mum already, she old liao, cannot do everything on her own. And there also goes my mthly expenses. Must cut down on my own shopping. Everything must cut cut cut.

Irony is, I actually went for a job interview yesterday, looks like I have no choice but to turn it down if I m selected. A pity, I actually asked for alot more than what I m getting now. But then again, I can always find a new job after no. 2 is out. Like what my hubby said, job can wait.

this made me thought of something. When I was in the delivery room, after giving birth to Eames, I shouted I don't want any more babies, so painful etc. Then the nurse turn to me and say, "I m sure I will see you again in 2 years time".

Scrumpee
Yea, agree with your hubby, job can wait. I think it's definitely a blessing in disguise for you. You still have 9 months to make it to the delivery room, don't think too much now!
happy.gif

scrumpee
congrats.

Donroxx
I am using Thermos shuttle chef. buy at the warehouse usin hsbc cc will get 20% discount.
My porridge will always be warm when i serve. after boiling under low fire for almost 2 hours, then put the inner pot in the outer pot, the porridge will even softer. Nutrient wise i m not sure. This is what my sis advised.

Misscandy
i have 2 tins of white rice cereal and 1 tin of brown rice fr nestle. if you or anyone who is interested can pm me.

oh ya before i try i must lose those fats on tummy first before pregnant. if not next time even harder to get rid.. help...

scrumpee - CONGRATS!!!!
happy.gif
Great News!!! hurhurhur.... like starflower... wondering who is next to strike... hee hee hee... for now, keep it hush hush frm ur boss ba.. til u pass the 3mth mark...
happy.gif
i think steph77 also same situation... she was pregs with #2 when #1 was ard 7-8mths... hee hee.. its God's precious gift! just embrace it!!! actually my lil sis n bro also very close... 9mths apart only... LOL!!! my sis born in June.. then my bro born in March... but he was a preemie.. born at 28wks.. =P

reverie - the nestle cereal i use is the green tin de... is urs blue or green?

fish - i use threadfin... cheaper than cod la.. =P i myself hardly eat Cod leh.. hw cn i feed her Cod? LOL

wow u all really cook the porridge quite long... maybe might wan to consider grinding into powder... it cooks damn fast in powder form... ard 30-45mins cooked liao... i cook different meats for lunch n dinner... when im or i run out of meats, i feed her cereal... =P wkdays usually i prep all for my mum and put in freezer.. so she jus has to put into slow cooker, 1hr later cn be served... wkends i do it myself...

pigpig - i think scrumpee only told us abt the great news... and is not ready for others to knw abt it yet... as she also has other friends in her FB acct, i think she wld like to keep it hush hush for now...
happy.gif
so i guess thats why her HB is also nt happy?

--------------------------------------

someone mentioned a chalet... erm... i dont think chalet wld be a good idea... unless u jus wan us to appear for a few hrs then go off...

1. babies wil need to sleep, no spc to sleep.
2. i read before that parties for babies shld be kept to 2-3hrs... after that, the attention is gone and they prolly will get cranky... so for ur 1yr old birthday party, prolly might want to have it over 2-3hrs as well.. max wld be 4 i guess...
happy.gif

--------------------------------------

prosper - just DO it!

prosper - no la. dunt get rid of it now then put on again when u pregs! get pregs now! then after that lose it all.. hehehehehee... one of my excolleague ... lost all her weight.. then kena pregnant... -_-" she was quite sian... hahaha

Srumpee, ths is so exciting! ya our thread is alive suddenly again hahaa, let's see what u have to remember...i think it was no pineapple la, no delmonte bananas, no century eggs, no chinese herbs (ginseng), pate (livers).

Oh yeah and no unprocessed cheese, coconut (liang), durian (fatty), raw sashimi , large fish (mercury) and caffienated drinks.....

*Phew* that sounds like a super long list already....but here we go again babe
happy.gif
So happy for you
happy.gif

starflower.... bringing back all those memories arrrr....

missy... i agree with wat u said.. n prosper.. u slim liao... no need further slimming

By the way, I have question abt fish that mummies give to baby. Any of you give salmon? Is it ok to give baby salmon now? So far I have given my boy only white fish because I am at overseas so i don't know what is Ngor hu, ang go li called here... haha.. paise :p
I have tried frozen cod fish. I blended it but it turned out strand by strand, not smooth. May i know how you mummies cook the cod fish? thanks
happy.gif
