Yesterday evening, Lucas requested for his pacifier. I cut off 20% off the top end of the pacifier. He suck abit .. take out and see ... suck abit ... take out and see. My MIL so heartache and told him she will buy a new one for him tomorrow. I told Lucas in front of MIL she buy and I will throw it away. Last nite, when going to sleep, he suck once and hold it .. suck again and hold it and sleep very soon. But middle of the nite, for 2-3 times, think he was quite pek chek abt it. Very much I wanna give up and give him the new pacifier but I endure and juz carry him and pat him to sleep in a short while.

Jo: Jia you! You have survived the first night..endure for a few more days and I am sure Lucas will no longer need it soon.
 
hw abt some home remedy? instead of medicine?

Wtan, Dr koh did not cut t black thread properly?! He stitched for me quite nicely leh. Its just a scar right now, not protuding.
Ask u, was your c-sec wound painful after t op? I didn't experience much pain. I dunno issit t painkiller did wonders, or Dr koh is superb?

Snnowy, ur fren's mum's case is so scary -_-" 15 yrs later! piangz ....

I will give abt 1-1.5weeks to wean Lucas off the pacifier. I will cut the pacifier shorter every 2 days. But I need to endure for the next few nights.
I will keep that pacifier for him till he decide to throw it away himself.

yaya..i went thru 2 c-sect for my boys..the 2nd one the ends not nicely trim leh..so i can see the black thread wor..althou struck with the skin but u can see it there ma..hehe..

it doesnt seem easy but now my brod is teething molars so i will rather give in to him then to let him hv anything to place in his mouth..:p

hw abt the boiling some chuan-bei + nan-xing + bei-xing to drink? i think u can get the pre-packed ones frm Eu Yan Sen..

i think ur pain threshold is superb la..for me, when i have #1, it was painful esp when i hv to start walking..but for Brod, i think few hrs i can start walking liao..haha..but not as painful overall for 2nd time..maybe bcoz i hv experienced before the 1st so kinda mentally prepared...i didnt take as much painkillers the 2nd round too leh..hehe..
 
wtan, hahaha.. if i have superb pain threshold hor, i wouldn't have asked for epidural even before the start of everything.

i think hor no matter hw, c-sect sure need epi leh..if no epi hor i think that's beyond superb liao leh..

mav was bcoz he was really comfy so i dun want to wait till exp dd..haha..i went to see doc on 2 oct then tell him let's go c-sect on 3 oct 2006..lol..btw, our 1st yr wedding anniversary was 2 oct 2006..lol..

K was emer-csect. Was there in t hospital on EDD for the err...wat u call tat... 催生 (i seriously can't remember t english term for it). But K decided tat she prefer to stay in my tummy. End up emergency, and cost me (or rather my hubby) a big bomb.
Nice to have Mav one day after ur anniv!

Nuts.. where r u? Hows ur leg?

icic..i was trying to avoid emer-c-sect for Mav whc is why we opt for c-sect then..but before i can even ask Brod to hold on, he came on a surprise to us as a Oct baby on 31st..was kinda expecting him to be here on 1st wk of Nov since we have set the date for c-sect with Dr Koh..haha..but i m glad to have 2 Oct kiddos..hehe..

i m heavy-duty one so i try not to put on heels in office..mainly low platform..so before u see me coming, u hear me walking 1st..hehe..

Good morning mummies

Wtan/Lilian,
I sweat when I heard abt the pus after 15 yrs from last birth. Some more she only had 2 c-sect. Then these few days my wound also itch so wild thought ran through.
For me, my #1 was breech so gynae said must c-sect and ended up as epi c-sect and like wtan, I regretted like hell when I had to start walking the next day. For #2, I only dare to walk the 2nd day but the pain was nt as bad compared to #1. The nurse told me cos the nerves were already "injured" once and we are so much ready for the pain. Strange theory though *scratch head*

yah yah... kind of busy lately + boss in so not v convenient to come in and post..
Yest on half day leave brot my gal and all the neices and nephew out with my SIL and sis. Had a fun day.. went for nice lunch then proceed sembawang mall for the water park.. As usual my gal was kind of timid din dare to touch e water at 1st but managed to warm up and played like nobody business! she had a great day.. They're planning again to bring e kids to zoo tomm but i cant take leave lei.. Sad &amp; sianz...

umm... seems like stil e same.. somemore surrounding getting a bit red.. doc say may b mild infection.. supposed to take out stitich nex Mon but seems like e wound is not ready for that yet at this point of time.. hope e infection wont worsen or else they've to unstitch and wash e wound again.. then stitch again!!! piangz.. torture..

My gynae skill is actually ok.. at first it was quite nice.. Tink it depends on individual's healing and skin quality and e tings u eat.. if never take care then wil b like this lor.. keloid.. yucks

OMG! Must take care of your wound now. Avoid seafood and food with black sauce. Did the doctor give you any medicated wash to clean the wound? Also will need to change the plaster once it gets wet cos damp and moisture is good breeding groung for bacteria. Take care babe.

Congrats on your baby girl! It sure is fun to dress lil girls up. But it also costs a bomb! wahahahha... Enjoy...

Oh dear... maybe you gotta buy a pair of sandals during lunch? Alternatively, you can buy those special plasters for blisters. These are thicker. Then you put on moisturiser and wear stockings. Whenever I buy new shoes, I will moisturise my feet, roll on 'foot glide' and wear stockings. Till the shoes become seasoned.

For me, everyday gotta wear heels due to my job nature. But for weekends, I'm a sandals person. Currently I'm wearing my fitflops everywhere. Super comfy.

mine need to remove stitch one.. doc say he dun recommend dissolves one cos scare complication if did not dissolve properly and completely..

nut, did you consume eggs or chicken after you got your stitches? coz i remember the last time i had stitches on my hand, the doc told me to avoid eggs and chicken for at least a week so that the wound would heal faster.
