lynn, that's an achievement for B on toilet training. so dun always said he's slow in his development. he must be 1 of the fastest kids here to be toilet trained.
olwen/moomummy, i oso din know library got this kind of kids' programme. will definitely go and check it out one of these days. if not wrong, cheng san library is inside Hougang Mall. Right, Olwen?
Darlest, i usually let my gal sleeps on the kid's pillow but she oftenly will slip down from it when she's sound aslp, but it din bother me too much cos the elders always said kids' neck are very flexible so they won't hurt their necks even if they dun slp on pillows. dun know how true

my girl LOVES eggs! she has been having at least one egg a day and now she really prefers the egg white to egg yolk. so i normally mix egg yoke to her porridge, etc. And cut up the egg white for her to eat on her own. she can have egg whites for lunch n dinner!

wtan, I always place him on his back to sleep with a breansprout pillow on his tummy, just that night my MIL was the one who fed him so she placed him differently. BTW, no la... only that night he flipped himself then he slept thru the night, usually is 4-5hrs feed once in the middle of the night... my #1 slept thru the night when she was 3wks old, well well~ all babies are different... hopefully he wil sleep thru soon, at least before i start work =P
Alibaba, maybe coz my gal goes infantcare during the day so already "gai gai" liao... morning she will go her cupboard look for her shoes den bring to us to wear for her then went back home she will sit down n try to get her shoes out.. den place them back to the cupboard.. lol~ very funny de..

wakakak... if i were to have another one will b #3. i really dun think i can handle it now. i remembered once i was telling someone that i like to have babies but once preggy then next stage is delivery can? cos i am so scare of the 9 months as i always had gestational diabetes and its a torture not being able to eat things u like when u are pregnant and have super appetite.
and hor i really understand on not being able to accompany #1 when u have #2. but anyhow we are all trying our best aint we? so dun have to feel guilty though i know its really hard as i do feel the same way as u know. all mothers are the same.

yes, i agree with jes on not taking transfer maids. fresh maids are generally more obedient and hardworking. but you'll really have to list down the house rules which you want your maid to follow since the day 1 she's with you. coz if you try to intro the rules later, it might be too late liao.
But then again, some transfer maids can be okay too. where maybe she's not suitable for her previous employers, but may be suitable for you. Just remember to have a good face-to-face interview with her to rate her.

For me every morn will put Jalen to his potty after his morn milk. He will poo together pee inside
. I tink i dun have the time to train him to stand to pee every half hr. Still have to do so much things online n hsework. Prob have to delay...on the pee pee train.

Yep, i brought R to see EYS TCM when she was 6 months old and 9 months old when she had cough on both occasions. After taking the med, it helped R to cough out her phlegm and she recovered quite fast. But now that she is a toddler, making her drink the med is very difficult. In my opinion, i prefer R seeing EYS TCM over western doc. However for fever when i needed immediate relief n fast results, bobian got to bring her see ang mo doc. Seeing R took westen med for fever for 2 weeks made me so heart pain. Hated seeing them take so much med at such a tender age. Hope Ni ni get well soon.

I intro the whole egg to R after she's slightly over 13 months. I cooked her scrambled egg, steamed egg, hard boiled egg and fried egg.

I may be bringing her for MMR end this month, PD did told me no scientific proof of MMR causing Autism and said exposing her to more diseases n viruses as a result of no MMR vaccination is worse. I think will pass MMRV though.

yeah seems he the fastest for toilet training.. i toilet train him because his severe diaper rash.. and his big backside.. XL for his pull up is a bit tight that why cause no circulation and cause bad diaper rash. so doc suggest me go diaper free for noon. and now cause i just go my new job n be starting on april 5th so i use the time to train him urine.. and he seems easy.. thanks god! slowly, all bbs here will urine.. i feel if he refuse, slowly.. but walking and talking.. i reali hope he can fast a bit. haiz.. even every night i tell story. hope my efforts will paid off.

KIKI: avoid transfer maids, i had before and she ended up stealing things including my eyebrow tweezer ! Her fave was money of cos...agency also not honest in telling me why she was a transfer bluff me say maid used fone and employer scold.

lynn, yup, tat the one! pai seh duno how to explain. coz walker hav 2 type stand, push & walk, the other one is sit-in & walk. as what moomummy had said, u shldnt worry too much. let ur boy develop at his own phase.
my hb also use wat moomummy have done when my gal is crusing tat time. my gal hold on to our coffee table & he always sit near & open his arms & leg & said walk to dad dad & my gal will smile, hesitate, walk & stumble toward to my hb. & of coz my hb will catch her before she fell to floor. he will practice with her during weekend. he will also put her to push walker & let her walk walk, he will bend & direct the walker in case my gal push to fast or bang to the wall.
& soon when my gal confident is build, she will start & try walk bit by bit without holding onto things & one day,to my amazment, wola, she suddenly stand up & walk from living room to kitchen & bac to living room. it really amazing to see ur child growth & learn.

snnowy, jes, moomum: jes is right, cheng san is in hougang mall. other libraries have it too but cheng san's is convenient for me - wed evenings. there's a new run starting in apr. need to go 15 mins to half hr beforehand to register at the e-kiosk. at this age, i think such things r a good start. brot my big boy couple of times when he was a tot but i won't bring luke & gerard cos they already know how to talk & like reading books.

I heard from a nurse friend before, if your MS is in the evening, there is usually a specific timing it starts right? Do eat something light half an hour prior to it and it will curb that MS.Hope it help =)

For your MS, maybe you wanna try drinking some ginger beer or ginger tea (Teh Halia)? I took both when I had MS and it helped to reduce the nausea. Hope your MS goes away quickly.

It's like a continuous love-hate relationship. When they are in loving mood, the 3 of them will hug and kiss, cuddle and sayang each other till bits. But comes to fighting.. aiyohz.. headache lor. Will scream, yell, push and fight.
My dad is helping me take care of baby J now. But can see he is getting really tired out. Plus got household politics going on. To ease his 'burden' I'm looking to put baby J into CC for half day. Then in Jan next year will change to Full Day Care instead. Too bad I'm not staying at Serangoon area leh. I'm at CCK. So looking at a few CC's. But the so-called branded ones the fees are damn ex siah - S$550 onwards after subsidy for Half Day Care. *faintz*

yeah, i think the jie jie helped the mei mei a lot on the speech, like last night she will tell mei mei, mei mei u say 1 then mei mei say 1, then she say 2, then mei mei say 2 and so on and so forth.. kekek... wat a cute sight. mi and hubby were arm chioing away. but then again girls ussually talk earlier. charlene started talking very early too, ard 9 to 10 months. for mei mei is slightly earlier.

*Hi-5* I'm also a lazy mommy. Can't be bothered to teach them to use potty. I'll leave them in their diapers all the way till they are 18-months and go CC. Then at CC, they will slowly learn to go toilet. hahahah... save me all the stress and headache. *lolz*

*Hi-5* I'm also a lazy mommy. Can't be bothered to teach them to use potty. I'll leave them in their diapers all the way till they are 18-months and go CC. Then at CC, they will slowly learn to go toilet. hahahah... save me all the stress and headache. *lolz*

Yah yah. I also went for the Taka baby fair. Agreed.. nothing interesting leh. More for those MTB's lah. Me only stock up on the bottle teats from Pigeon. The rompers and clothes also more for babies from newborn to 12-months only.
