hi mummies! I just got back from the hospital! Woke up at 3am and 6am to pee and my legs felt so heavy and sng, and I had backache and my lower tummy felt crampy. When I woke up up at 8am for work, told hubby about it and he said better call the hospital and see what they said.
My gynae was not in office yet, so the nurse spoke to gynae and called me back. Told me to go down for CTG and then see gynae. Nurse also said that I should get my hospital bag ready, just in case I'm ready to pop.
Hubby and I took out time to go to hospital, we went for yummy bfast before heading down. After an hour on the CTG, 2 mild contractions were detected. Baby's heartbeat and movement is very good.
Went to see gynae after that with the graph report and she did VE again. This time round, it's not painful at all! Gynae explained that on monday, my cervix was not as ripe and it was longer, so she had to reach further back, hence the pain. Today, she said there's an improvement, the cervix has ripened and is much shorter, though I'm still 1cm dilated only.
She thinks the baby will stay in tummy till next week, so there's still hope for my Sep 1 baby.
Am back in office now, still got so much work to clear! But I'm feeling abit tired now with the heavy sng sng feelings in the lower part of my body.
Will keep you mummies posted if there's any popping! hehe
Bigtoes: My bb is engaged, but he's still active. Perhaps cos now he's bigger, I can feel his movements more obviously. Hubby loves to feel his feet, and he's fond of placing his feet flat against my uterus wall! so cute! And we can even feel his heel sometimes!
