very easy to make.. just pour water into the container then pour yogurt base, shake and pour water.. then put hot water into the maker, put the container in and setaside for 8-12 hrs.. ;p

you can keep some yogurt as base and next time just need to buy uht milk to make new batch...</font></font>

how to know if bb has pnuemonia or brocholis(duno how to spell)?

No history of asthma from both family side. But when YuJie was diagosed with ezcema, doc did ask whether family member got ezcema or asthma or nose sensitive, any allergy. My hubby had nose sensitive prob. So, suspect it was a inherited prob. Doc did mention we had to be careful as ezcema and asthma belong to the same group of family.

But i nvr expect my #1 will be the 1st to diagnosed with bronchitis as she dont hv ezcema history. The doc said now he cannot said it'll turn into asthma, but if such situation recurring for few times, then we need to reaccess her health and see if it is asthma.
As for YuJie's case, i'm the one worry and decided to bring her to see PD, as she had been coughing for long period.And it really turn out she really had bronchitis oso.

Just within 2 days, i was scared out of my wits. At KKH, the doc initially suspect my #1 is hvin pneumonia and decided to do XRay. Not sure to consider lucky or not, coz it turn out to be bronchitis and not pneumonia.
Then at PD's clinic, the PD asked me if got family member got asthma. And at tat second, i tot YuJie had asthma, but he said is bronchitis, but will need follow up after a week.

feifei, for bronchitis, any prolong coughing might be a symptom. Btw, nose sensitive person might had higher chance to get bronchitis too. The KKH doc told me my #1 eyebag is a sign of nose sensitive person.</font>

My boy has sensitive nose too. He always sneeze. And he oso have eyebag.

Yes, dong xia cao is good for those with lung prob. You're right that i had brought it from EYS. YuJie only taken once as she had been coughing and i'm afraid she's heaty as advise by the EYS ppl heaty ppl shld not take the cordycep 1st.
One yr old kid can take. To build up immune system, suggest take twice to 3rd times a week in initially stage for about 1 mths, then reduce to once a week.

Mummies, u all make me so tempted to join the toy spree too but i must ctrl, else when move house sure headache.</font>

Toys cannot wait until move house lah. Buy a bit won't affect much.

Yes i tink cordyceps cause heaty. I am heaty nature and i can't take a lot else will sore throat so i take in moderation.

When i have phelgm, took cordycep and seems to work in reducing it.

I will go check EYS then. Worry abt my boy cause he has sensitive airway (according to GP). And eczema, food allergy and asthma are all good frens.

If Yu Jie has sensitive airway n eczema, i tink u better to be careful in introducing food to her.

Also, I read tat zucchinni is v good for asthma and airway. can try to give. U may consider to buy purifer also.

Hubby is not working tmr, so i'll be bak to office.
