enemum,

Thanks. So how do you cook the porridge? You cooked for both lunch and dinner at a go??

kitsune,
Thanks for your advise. Should i cut them up and put in ziploc or bring over there to cut?

mylife,
No problem. U above Kowloon Station? Is it just after Olympic Station? My husband is thinking of staying at a apt near Olympic Station during out stay there. But is it inconvenient to get to the town area eg. TST from there?
Maybe you can give some advices on what other places on the MTR lines we can venture to instead. I am abit sick of the temple street and others. I went to Yuen Long the last trip.
Do u know anything abt Zhuhai, guangzhou and shenzhen?

violetice
must take tmr liao since we are attending a garden-theme rom and sure will gel up his hair...
i prefer him with more hair aka ian's kind. remember i told you i like ian's hair, thick and boyish

mandy....i cook one feed in morning...for breakfast....then while i went for tim sum nearby, cook another meal lor....but wont be hot till dinner...thermal think can only last 5 hours.

but that time he was only about 18 months....i think can feed one meal of take away porridge theer la

Mandy, bring whole vegetables then cut over there so that they can last longer. Veg lose vitamins very fast once they are cut. Bring small chopping board and small sharp knife (put into check-in luggage) and cut over there. Cut out only what you need each day then wash and chop up. Dry vegetables keep better than washed ones. Some parts will definitely spoil or turn brown after a few days so factor in some wastage when you decide how much veg/fruit to bring over. If Jayden seldom take this type of seafood/veg based porridge, should try out 1 week before you fly over so that he is used to the taste.

Oh ya, if you have those tiger magic food jar You can pour the partially cooked porridge in after you boil it for a short while and it can continue to cook when you are on the go. Then no need to wake up too early in the morning.

i totally agree that life is fragile. Dunno whether u all got read the accident happened in ICC, Hong Kong, the building just opposite my apartment. Got industrial accident, 6 workers cleaning the construction site, fell down the temp lift shaft. All died. MAll men mostly in 40s, one 34yrs old. The papers reported one who really dotes on his family, just the night before, bought sushi for the kids, wife tired inside the room, he even brought the sushi into the room and hand fed the wife. So pitiful. Life is that fragile, today u see the person, tom that person may be gone forever. Tats why even if we cannot control and fight with our love ones, dun let it brew, u'll NEVER know if it's the last u see of him/her...now i see Rylee i worry if i die before she grows up proper...so must be healthier and more careful to avoid any accidents.

mandy
yes, my station is just right after Olympic! Ur hubby very good ah cos not many people knows about Olympic station, what apartment and where? To go TST or Mongkok, take cab VERY near, around 5-10mins only.
happy.gif
To go HK island, take MTR to HK station (connected to Central)

I dunno if panda biscuits nice or not cos it's Verene who loves it and asked me to buy for her. U can buy the biscuits from any Kee Wah outlets in HK.

Mylife, I see RaeAnne and worry that I won't live long enough to see her get married and have kids. Duh, now I know why my mum always lament that my bro haven't get married and probably will never do so. :p

mylife,

Is there anything there at Olypmpic station?? Most importantly, is there a supermarket there???

Are there buses that go to TST from there??

pixie,

i am not sure whether my first skool flexi-care incl enrichment kind but i do know that for full-day care, they have alike kindermusik (music) & phonics. If by year end, i still don't hear from them, will give them a call on my waiting list outcome. JE (blk 200+) abit far for my MIL else i don't mind putting Z together with X...they can be buddies leh:p

hey, there's a BP for hollywood dinos exhibition tics (child under 3YO foc)

Mylife,
I booked Langham Place already. Thanks for the recommendation, hb managed to get a corporate rate under his company heehee. The place seemed so much convenient.

Langham Place is NICE! you wont regret

I stayed there last year during my HK trip. MTR is also within walking distance & Langham shopping mall...there is a H&M there too!
