pixie,
last few days was 8MIL but since yesterday 9.7MIL liow!
The more u buy the higher chances of winning...if don't buy, NIL chance:p

luca,
i oso having logistics issue...can't go tour at the moment...nvm la...just tell yrself soon will have chance once kids older.

dun worry...just try out once lor...

at least for coach you still get to get off the bus a few times....so they can get off and have a break too.

both boys did not fuss at all...

my elder boy like it very much...mayb i going again in nov

mylvera & luca,
my in-laws follow us to BKK too. Both kids were taken care by my mum, glad that she can handle well ;)

Hubby & I will be going Korea in Dec for x'mas. It is his company retreat, spouse also free for this trip... rem last yr, told u all abt the HK trip? But in the end, preggy & can't join cos bleeding in first tri. In fact, this round not veri keen abt korea esp in winter. Been there b4, find that winter can't buy much clothing. Anyway, is free, juz follow them, hehe ;) How i wish if they go japan, hoohoo...dreaming..

Steph,
Me too!! Thinking to go Japan next yr!! We can plan together, heehee ;)

Pixie,
One thing that i dun like Korea is their food. I hate Kimchi & dun take beef & vege. Almost all their meals come with that, yucks. And in the end, i eat rice with ikan bilis, kelian men. Still rem the only food which is edible for me is bbq pork & their instant cup noodles. Heehee, maybe the trip will help me cut down my weight;)

Steph, when I was preggie with RaeAnne, my weight at 37 weeks was only 55.1kg lor. Then I delivered at 38 weeks and 2 days. :p For Raelynn, I'm only 29 weeks and already almost 54kg. That's why hope I don't exceed 60kg at full term lor. :p

Steph, me want to go to Japan too. Got a cousin working there somemore, but can only aim school holidays. But next year still too early cos Raelynn too young. Maybe 2011 bah? Cos travel all the way there, should bring them to Disneyland. I'm aiming Taiwan next Dec though.

mylvera, if short trip, I'm interested, haha, was joking with hubby, best time to bring no. 2 for short trips is when I'm still BF, no need to bring so many things. haha.

luca,
are u SAHM? How abt leaving your kids with your mum or in-laws & go for a short trip with your hubby? Think is really gd to find back the "er ran shi jie" feeling ;) 1 nite stay at Bintan or Batam also shiok ah.

Janbb,
im a FTWM. its rather hard for me, the boys are still young, demand lot of attention n both mums are busy with 2 other kids besides mine. anyway, i wun enjoy also coz will be thinking of them. :p
not into batam or bintan, i hope can go europe when my boys are older.

i just want to go oz for some nature/farm stay with my boy when he's older. or now. now he will go "wahhhhhhhhhh!" or "ooooooooooooooooooo!" when he sees something nature-y

luca,
true, true. When i saw baby & todd like ours at BKK, i really wish they were by my side. But when i stepped into the shopping mall, i forgot abt them & cheong all the way, haha... me veri bad mummy hor.. And when i was back in town, my #2 punished me!! She dun let me carry or feed, cry & cry in my arms & stop when my mum carry her. Dun dare to go tour too often, hope that next time can bring both along with me ;p

Janbb,
u lose some but u gain some too. nvm lar, i feel children will in the end choose the parents, as they always say, dai hai zi mei gong lao. :p

Aiyo, mylvera. You should have been on HL already. Need to rest and have some "Me" time before #3 came out bah. Go and see your gynae immediately and tell him you super tired and ask him to give HL.

JanBB,

2pm would be good for my daughter. How long is the trial? If 1 hour, then maybe 9am also can. ;) My daughter is an early bird. She still takes 2 naps a day so 11+ and 4+ is her nap time.

violetice
im glad you are here regularly! you used to be mia-ing here hor!
my boy's hair got cut last weekend...by my mil...she didnt do a good job; sheared a portion too short so she had to cut the rest of the hair shorter to match the miscue portion..so my boy's hair now quite short...only the top part longer, so we will gel them up...

ian looks cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

pauline,

Need advise from you abt HK. What did u feed your girl when u are there??? I dont think i want to bring my slow cooker there to cook porridge :p Even if i do, what ingredients do i put inside??? So far Jayden still eating homecooked porridge.

Penang: Been there when I was preggie. THe food there very nice....Rented a car over there and drove around. Got promo for tickets now???

Jess,
Why dont u try driving up to Genting??? Much easier and better than coach. With a GPS, it just leads you the way. Maybe can bring some heat patches there if u guys venture outside. The other time I went, Jayden was quite young (abt 8 months), he enjoyed himself heheheh.

Janbb,
I prefer Sat. I have got a tentative slot for next sat at 11.30 i think. THey will need to call me and confirm. Cant remember when i called and leave down name for trial but they called me on wednesday. Yours at Evans or Forum??

Haha! Now a bit more free and not playing so many games online, thus can come thread here to chit chat! Ian also HATES to have his hair cut. Whenever he sees a salon, he will have a wary expression. If we bring him in, he’ll start to cry. It’s traumatic, trying to cut his hair! How short is short? Ian’s hair is really short lor but I really want to try gel his hair since I have no girl for me to tie hair! LOLOLOL!

Oh yeah? The last time was Little Neuro Tree right? JanBB was still preggie and we 3 went to the kopi shop for drinks while the Daddies took care of them. Haha.

mandygoh,

i bought a slow cooker to cook for my boy in HK. you can get ingredient like brocolli and eggs at supermarket. Rice you can bring from singapore...small amount only anyway. I check with customs before

else, buy him porridge from there

you can try giving your child tabao porridge (in singapore) and see whether he accept.

jess, my trip there...i cook my morning porridge there.

over there, i buy porridge for his meals as he prefer porridge. But porridge not all resturant have.

come back that time...i buy a packet of porridge and put in thermal flask for his dinner. Coach departs at 2.30pm for me.

Milk...i bring milk powder. that time i bring not enough...short of 1 feed....bought fresh milk from there and warm up and luckily he accepts......his first try of fresh milk.

Mummies,

I am interested in getting mosquite patches from BP. ANyone interested to share?? 12 packs for $60. If not normal price will be $6 each.

Mandy, I brought some pigeon porridge (just need to heat up) but it was very watery and not filling enough. That time, RaeAnne was less than 11 months and has hardly any teeth so I can't choose the '12 months & above more filling' pigeon porridge for her. I was travelling with an entourage of relatives so my 2nd aunt who has experience looking after 2 young grandchildren helped me to cook RaeAnne's porridge everyday. She brought a travel cooking pot.

Actually if I'm travelling with RaeAnne now, I will bring either a portable camping hotplate stove or a small rice cooker (if you don't want to wake up too early in the morning to cook the porridge). Of course, slow cooker is best cos the porridge will be really mushy and no heat to worry about overheating. Just boil water using the hotel electric jug then pour into the slow cooker so that it will cook faster, cut your ingredients very small though cos hardy veg/fruits take long time to soften.

For ingredients, bring those hardy ones that can keep well in the normal hotel bar fridge eg. dried scallops or pre-prepared ikan bilis powder or 银鱼粉(for taste since not bringing raw meat), hardy fruits/veg eg. sweet potato, potato, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, baby corn etc. That should make a yummy porridge for those few days.

If your hotel is near a supermarket, can make a trip down on the first day to get some veg or eggs etc. Of course, since Jayden is older now, can also give him plain congee with some bland dishes from the HK restaurants if you don't mind.

sorry didnt get your tickets in time for my trip back to Sg. Cos the mommy fren i'm getting from is also hevaily preggie of her #2 so didnt get the tics in time from her cousin (who's working in Disneyland and got the discounts). Anyway, u will have to get the tics from me bah...shud be quite easy and not too inconvenient for u sinc emy apartment is right above the Kowloon station (on the way to Disneyland). If u want, i can lend u my slow cooker too for cooking porridge in your hotel but u'll have to return it to me so u decide which one more inconvenient hehe.
