i oso missed latching R...although he not much hair for me to stroke but can sniff his baby heavenly smell...shiok but my arms will be aching cos i go no bf support pillow:p if i got #3, will sure direct latch again!

i noe breastfeeding is such a motherly thing to do, dun mean to "condemn" it. :p

even now hug hug my boy i oso like this feeling very much. i know my boy is telling me he loves me when he clamps himself onto me. i sure reply by saying "yes mummy loves you very much too". i say that to him almost everyday.
daddy never say that *grumbles*
 
I shall see how it goes today. She did suckle non-stop (not falling asleep) and swallow leh. I knew for sure cos my breast was very full and hard. After the 1.5 hr, totally soft already. So much to learn about BF.....

HR is already sleeping with us :) Think will take him awhile to accept this new addition to the family, and to accept daddy as his carer (so far, I am the only one put him to sleep and soothe him back to sleep). Ya, it will get settled, sooner or later.... gonna stay positive!

My boy like to rub his head on me, head, hands, legs, something like smelling my scent.. then go sleep.. like a daily routine. I love it but I am telling Daddy,please try and put him to sleep and not always me. Not sure what will happens when I deliver, how is this boy going to sleep? Hb heck care and say wait until then he will do something.. ~faint.

my boy likes to lie ontop of me and sleep. i dunno why oso. maybe nainai does that sun-thur bah. bad habit. i always push him down, he will climb his way back on top of my body.
yah daddy never puts my boy to sleep too unless i am out. ask him to put my boy to sleep he say nevermind, i go ahead.
wtf. nevermind, got #2 liao they LL bo bian have to put #1 to sleep themselves

u are right to tell yr hb to try & put X to bed else if X too sticky to you then when #2 comes along...will sure struggle for him to adjust. Gd to start slowly now.
 
hehe...Xandall so cute....Z oso leh...they can shake hands. My FIL let Z lie ontop of him & let him play with his belly too but i or hb will push him down & he will climb back again. Hmm...looks like alot of hubbies dun co-sleep or make their child sleep hor....my hb do leh & he loves bathing Z too.

if i go out, he can manage my boy perfectly. he just lazy and push the majority to me lor

ay, no wonder X and Z name sounded the same - both lie on body to sleep.

nowadays X got new style. he will gather his 2 pillows + 2 bolsters + blanket all in his arms, stand up and flop face down on the bed and must stay at that position to sleep. weird hor?

My hb also lazy and he feels that he cant do it. He will wait until he had no choice then he will think of something. I am planning to let hb sleep in a diff room first while I do confinement, then #2 and CL sleep same room as me.

yesterday hubby was sneezing. then suddenly Javier stood up, walk to the tissue box. I thought he wanted to play with tissue. end up, he took a piece of tissue and pass it to hubby... so sweet rite....
then he take another tissue... imitate daddy sneezing's actions... FAINTZ... hahaa

Z will take his bolster & ride on it & say "Qi Ma" aka ride a horse! I remembered during national day, we watched the parade on tv for the fire-works & we go "Wow Wah" & now whenever he saw sumting amusing, he'll go Wow Wah...so funni

yup, my boy gimme tissue paper too.
when i give him tissue paper, he will rub his face with tissue, but he will close his eyes and machiam relish the touch of soft tissue on his face kind of expression. like "~ahhhhh~"

or he will straighten the floor mat. or when the mat kena folded, he will unfold it. else, he re-arrange the shoes on the floor etc etc

while u r bf your gal, u can massage your breast while feeding so that the milk flow is smoother and breast will be soften faster too. for me, my #2 got slight jaundice too so i feed her some water whenever i suntan her in the morning. it's impt that they have sufficient water to pee and poo for jaundice bb. the first week for #2 was hourly feed for a continunous 3hrs slot in the afternoon. i called it marathon feed. gradually i realise that she is sucking for comfort so i introduce pacifier cos bei tahan keep latching on after every hr. i was told to feed 15-20min per breast and switch to the other breast for another 15-20mins. when my #2 hit 1 mth old, she can suck better and on 2-3 hr feed though i still fully latch her with 1 bottle feed per day so that she can accept bottle easier when i return to work.

Thanks :) Hehe, look like me hor. Her hair is really nice, looks like she has just dyed her hair brown, and is soft. Hubby said definitely can't shave her hair when she turns full month.

Thanks for sharing. I tried to feed her water but she didn't want. Hopefully her jaundice will clear soon, now still have tiny bit of yellowish.

Just now she only latched 1 side for 15min. So I pumped. Combined both side, about 20min each side, total about 50ml. Not bad :) Must work harder, I am happy cos think I get use to the pump liao, so enjoying pumping more now. Thinking of investing in a electrical breast pump if I can build up the supply, cos after I go back to work, definitely need to pump.

since HR already sleeping with u then maybe u can try to talk to him and soothe him while u to latch.
u support bb with one hand while she is suckling, the other hand get HR to lie next to u and u can still pat him?
A bit stress for u now lah but bo bian lor.

i m doing what u suggest to kam. i one hand hold bb latching on and the other hand pat my elder gal to sleep. siong ah... but bopian leh cos their timing always coincide so i have to "multi-task" to handle both of them at nite.

suntan your gal daily & as long as your gal get sufficient liquid ie milk or water, shd be recover fast. also try not to take too much ginger in your diet cos it will cause the yellow to go higher. your supply quite good leh so keep up the good work!

Can't advise about Haore, think I'll face the same problem with RaeAnne next time unless i successfully move her back to her own room and own cot before no. 2 is born. :p

Looks like you are doing well in BF and still very persistent. Very good! I hope I will be like you when times comes in 1 mth's time.
Xiyu is cute with lots of hair. She must have love your comfort a lot that's why cannot stop sucking. But 1.5hr is really too long and it is stressing on you too. Take it easy ok?

I think I have been going through hell for the past few days. I have not been sleeping well for the past few nights since Sat... My girl was vomitting since Sat and I had to clean and change her numerous of times. All the bedsheets also needed change and washing immediately... I was so tired... Brought her to doc but doc cannot detect anything wrong... Then came last night when all the 3 of us (hubby, me and girl) all had diarrhea throughout the night. We got stomach flu and again, got to change my girl's diaper, wash and change her... Not forgetting I need to run to the toilet every now and then... Totally exhausted... Today and tomorrow will rest at home... Then MIL called and said girl had diarrhea again but she spotted 2 molar teeth growing from the upper gum... What a good timing to teething at this time...
I don't believe that I am going through such terrible time in my final mth...
