K@ye:ya la dunno why they like to nag.......then my dad went market bought 20 papayas for hkd$20 which he think it was cheap is normal.........and 2 papayas left when i got home today,took him 3 days to finish 17 PAPAYAS!!!!!!!!!!!
but heck i still buy and ask my warti to help me keep those clothes hehehheheh and bring out slowly piece by piece to wash kekekkekekekekke

ya u are right abt the Bday celebration man.I m at a lost what to do now..hehehe...cake settled (i hope!) but buffet still not! jus told hubby and DAd to 'standby' as cooks that day if i cannot get a caterer! hahaha...got all decor stuff and costumes but NO FOOD!

Gymboree: Hi mummies, I've spoken to the staff at Gymboree Tanglin and they have confirmed that unfortunately, they cannot set aside a playgym hour for a private group but we are welcome to meet during those designated hours to use the gym. =(
As for trial lessons, they are pretty full at the moment so the maximum no. of babies they can entertain is 4 babies + 4 parents for Saturday (4.40pm) or Sunday (11.20am) the week after.
Let me know which date/time you prefer so that I can call to make arrangements? It will cost $40 per lesson. Thanks.

Baby's Day Out:
Catherine, thanks for organizing.. u did not do a bad job in organising.. just that the place is just too luah lar.. n super hot in the earlier part of the event.. n then super rainy in the later part.. the weather just cannot cooperate nowadays. If u din organise this outing i wont be there to enjoy so much with Reyner cos i'm a lazy bum always stuck at home or go to same old places week after week.. haha.
Reyner also took part in the crawling contest.. he's the last contestant of the last round. Lucky us.. after its my turn to write down our names, the organizer went to the person behind me n told them no more placement liao. Reyner did not even complete the 1st lap cos he's so confused by the rest of the babies.. most of them got so distracted. just like Reyner they just sat right in the middle.
We stayed till the lucky draw n lucky us won a gaia starter kit.. not too bad
Really nice to get to meet some of u in face.. hope to see the rest too.. but too bad we cant join the birthday bash as Reyner is celebrating his on the same day at bottle tree park.

yes, the plan to Bishan Park is still on. Do we wanna do East Coast Park instead for the big area of sand?
If not, we can stick to Bishan Park. In fact, I wanted to ask if anyone's nterested to do a fortnightly thing.. Just a few families, get together at the park, then we can have a music session. I am quite fine with singing to babies in public. Just that we might need mummies to bring their music insruments like the tamborine or the marascus. Then we can have a art session. we can prepare water, so as soon as the babies are done with their non toxic paint, we clean them up. However, I'll say this is not for the faint hearted. cos babies might just eat the stuff? or paint on their shirts?
I've seen enough of this to make sure I dun scream, but my hubby does. Hahaha...

Langlao, I ordered the $12.80 menu. Originally, wanted to get the $15.80 but too many ppl lah... So just get the cheapest one. My guests like 70-80 (excluding kids), catered for 55 ppl. Food all gone coz got unexpected guests turning up!!! HAha!

i cant go for the mini bash on 2nd Nov coz i intend to celebrate Jovan's birthday on tat day (it's his chinese BD) Jovan's actual birthday is on 14th (Fri) but i cant do a party on the weekend just before 14th coz HB is going on reservist. then 1st Nov my bro getting ROM'ed. so it's going to be a really busy weekend for me. u gals enjoy. AND please share photos!

Actually, its quite scary on holding birthday celebration. LAst nite was counting the angbao and the cost for Claire's birthday celebration. Wow, we spent abt $1.5K inclusive of deco, food & goodies bag etcc... So my hubby & I decided, only 2 major birthday bashes for our children, 1st & 21st!
As for me, i will demand that Claire gives me a treat on her birthday every year when she has started working. Coz her birthday is the day when I was in the greatest pain of my life (Even though got epidural!)
