Morning mummieS! bene MIA for a fair while..busy with work and i fell ill yesterday..had a bit of a preggie scare cuz i felt nauseaus and gassy, just like when i was 6wks preggie with yee heng..but test turned out negative..whew! dun think i could handle another one so soon, tho hubs was a teeny bit disappointed..doc said it was prob the flu bug that went on to affect my tummy..
about the stroller vs carrier for travelling..i would advise to bring both, as it does get very tiring having baby in the carrier for too long..we had yee heng in the ergo when we went to orchard rd on sunday for 3 hrs and hubs and i were both super tired out!

cute pics! i didn't realise the discovery ball everyone was talking about was this one! i have the new one (xmas gift)..and yee heng is more interested in turning it upside down to look at the base after spinning it a couple of times..silly fella!

Jete, we have the same leapfrog balls as Paige does. But i think my boy prefer the discovery ball more than the spin a letter ball. Like woof, i am astonished to find that each letter comes with different music and it's really value for money, i bought it despite having the spin a letter ball because, i want to detach the ball from the stand when my boy can crawl...

i used to have like 4 cats when I was still in Jakarta and I call them all pussycat kakaka... so when I said puss puss all would come!! Now all died oredi and the offsprings are spread over to my neighbours too..
I got music drum from leapfrog too and Ike loves it.. if it plays music he will start dancing with his hands waving and his body shaking front back front back.. kakaka.. I think Ike is our toy kekeke.. Anyone has the old discovery ball that wanna sell to me? Ike likes balls so I am thinking since the old one is detachable, he'll love it..

Muddypie: I have a tall, thin Nuk bottle at home, and its much narrower than any other brand of bottles.. I'm not sure, but I think its a little too narrow for the soft disposable liner. I'll try it out and let you know tomorrow? Like Nining said, best if you use the Playtex Nurser...the nurser is a good investment coz you never need to replace it, even for your next baby. Better still, you can buy from Nining directly : )

WRT stroller vs Carrier...honestly, I think you'll need both. I have overseas guests staying with me several times a year, and those with babies or young children almost never bring their strollers. When we bring them out shopping the whole day, the parents always suffer...most times we end up at kiddypalace looking for a cheap emergency stroller...

that's what boys do, looking at things thinking how it works, isntead of playign with it... u know Ike nowadays studies his buckles on his high chair or stroller, and also the latch at the gate door along the playground fence,.. i guess he tries to figure out how to break these prisons kakakaka..

yah lor. coz my boy like to lick and chew the diff parts of the high chair, i will everytime do free service for the restaurant and wipe the whole chair with pigeon wipes and hand sanitizer. haiz.

Ike used to do that on his straps in high chair or stroller, then sometimes choked himself when we're not around.. so my maid got clever, she tied all these loose strap akakakakak.. poor Ike lost his hobby and now everytime he's strapped on chair or stroller, he will study the buckle.. luckly combi is good, the buckle press button is same colour with the other part so diff for him to differentiate.. Whereas the lindam fence, the gate latch is in blue, different with the gate / fence itself (white) so when he studies it he straight touch the blue parts hehehe.. but of course he can't unlatch cos it's tough enough for adult to do..

its called step 2 buggy from toysrus. he just sit there n we can push him around. he loves it.
btw 2hrs to cook a potato is too long! if u want to speed up, cut the skin n then cut the potato into small pieces n steam for 10 mins. then mash it n add a scope of milk powder. he loves it!

go and buy pasta from bellanmy. titus loves it. its organic n its for babies above 7 mths. just boil the pasta for 7 mins. and mix with your own sauce. what i did was i buy the organic carrot puree sauce n mix with pasta. sometimes i do my own by mixing pumpkin n tomato puree. go n try, its easy n something diff.

i wanted to sell the baby head support for $10 and i more then willing to bear the postage if less then $1, if more then $1 the buyer just top the difference.
buyer agreed.
so yest night, i wrap and even go out to weigh the parcel.
the postage is $1, so i msg the buyer to trf $10 to me and give me the address
this morning, i even brought the parcel to work so that I can mail on the way home.
just now, at lunch time, she msg me that she got another one, which is more ex but with immediate delivery so she wan to cancel mine.
arrghhh...
i msg her that she should honor the deal as it is already agreed. i was very angry and pissed but she was apologetic.
haiz...so unlucky

no no no! they cant take pure tomato. too acidic. u either dunk it in boiling water to boil for ten min. the skin will come off n u cut it into small pieces. i have got this book on baby's food that says they can take tomato once they r 8 mths onwards. its suppose to increase their apetite n good source of vit c.
