after the cake cutting, a friend's daughter wanted to take one of the Elmo figurine on the cake.. then of course the mother stopped her but she said "you asked Auntie whether u can have one".. then the little girl asked.. but i didn't want to give cos i want to keep for memories and keep for EJ mah.. so I just gave her a funny look on my face - a pained expression .. like "err..errr.." so the girl didn't take, then the mother of the girl also didn't say anything. But i tell u, I felt very paiseh lor.. then for a moment, i thot i should just give it to her.
Cos each character comes in 2 figurines.. so 2 elmos, 2 cookie, 2 big bird etc.. but in the end i didn't give.. then i quickly take out all the figurines and the balloons and put on a plate and quickly bring it back to my house! Then upon closer look, i realised that altho the figurines come in 2s, but they are not the same. ie.. altho got 2 elmos, but the 2 elmos are in different pose etc.. so i was thinking to myself, luckily i didn't give one away.
But overall i still felt very bad and paiseh.. that mother is not my friend, it's hubby's friend.. hope she doesn't remember me by this incident!

if i m not wrong, i think Belle is celebrating Chloe's birthday this weekend at the same place (bungalow chalet) as Carol. Hope that Pete will be fine and good by then. I think Belle must be very worried now.

My hubby is very funny last nite. I was hungry at abt 12am. Then felt like having instant noodles. Then he asked me if I know how to cook! I look at him and was shocked! He really thinks I'm so bad to the extent of not knowing how to cook instant noodles?!?! *horrror and shocked*
But last nite was the first time I cooked instant noodles for myself in a long time..

the 1st flowergal dress is bought by my brother from Bangkok! we kept quarrelling since young cos he used to steal my titbits and my stuff w/o asking me..seldom talk till Leia came along. he dotes on her too, come to my place to visit her often, and bought this dress which surprises me! so i must let her wear...plus bought another one which my mum insisted tat she has to buy a new set of clothes plus shoes,bcos she's the Ah Mah.

Autum: the kid at my party just grabbed the balloons.. so i tot just give to her to play with lor, i didn;t know she threw it away in the trash, it was when i was trying to look for it, then my SIL say its thrown away liao
But lucky i kept all the HK figures... i took them out immediately before i started slicing the cake for everyone.. i said very loudly to my guest, i need to keep these figurines as keepsake..hehe

starfruit.. My DD's cake got 3 pooh bear .. den got a girl.. my friend's dotter wan.. but the little ger went to ask my mum instead.. so.. my mum asked me.. so i give lor.. cos got 3 mah..
cutie: sorry missed ur qs..its not me that posted the list of party shops lah.. i only posted the list of cake supplier/bakery, if u need, i can repost. i cannot remember who was it that posted also.. anyway i got my balloons from concourse, but i think the shop has moved to middle roady, last sat was the last day for them at concourse. As for party supplies, the concourse shops carries too but they have all moved out, some to tekka mall i think, one to middle road, the rest i dunno. i know there is a party shop at centrepoint, great world, city hall and i know the SKP shops sells party stuff as well.. other than that, i dunno where liao. i got a lot of my stuff online as well. Hope this helps.

I think sometimes children are so spontaneous that the adults didn't think of it lor.. like the mother in my case, I don't think she mean to put me in a spot.. guess it didn't occur to her that the host will want to keep the figurines!

Hey, u not resourceful leh.. RP so big, how can u not be able to find a bowl or plate? can use a cup also u know.. get two mugs and break the noodles into two portions! There are tons of mugs in the pantry la.. or borrow from your friends.. they sure got mugs right.
