Oh i got a Dr Seuss titled : From first to last - Its a collection of 3 of his books (inclusing his 1st and last book)... i like Dr Seuss.. read them when i was a child.. think i stillkept my Dr Seuss.. must pass on to Rae.
 


i also bought this other chameleaon book titled 'A colour of His own" illustration style similar to EC but i like this story so much better (even though i bought EC's Mixed Up Chameleaon" as well. This book talks this chamealeaon asking why all all animals have colours of their own exp for chameleaons..so cute and heartwarming story.. just the kind i like to read to Rae.

ay, i think your mil is the "knowledgeble" kind, that's why will tell you what to do... hehehe... actually sometimes my mil also will do that lah, but will tell her i prefer my own method... maybe my sil hv set a "standard" that she do whatever her manner, so my mil never insist her way w me lah.. moreover, i always remind her, it's our kids, every parents hv their ways and preference.. anyway, which parents would harm their own kids leh...

but my girl had stopped gaining weight since 7mths. 9kg is good weight ah? Cos I see hua_jing's elisha and Michelle's K are all 9.something at 6-7 mths liao. Then my mum kept complaining that my girl isn't putting on much weight.

9kg okay what... i think my ah boy only 8kg leh... will find out after my visit to doc tomorrow.... aiyah, elders always complain one... my mil also wat, keep saying why i never increase milk for my ah boy... still taking the same amt of milk!!! aiyo, they shd be eating more solids than milk what, and furthermore sometimes i wanna him to drink more, he also dun want!! give him solids, he will open mouth big big ...

ya, maybe cos my mum after carrying my boy then carry my girl so she always feel that she's small-sized. But her milk intake had reduced & yet no increase in solids. I just thought if she doesn't put on weight anymore and when she starts to crawl/walk, she'll lose weight then she'll be even smaller liao.
 
irin: my ger is only 7.9kg at 9 mths.. evenlighter than urs.. considering urs was 1 of a pair of twins, i think her weight gain very good liao. cannot compare with Elisha and Keira lah, these two are the chubbier babies at our thread.

and the irony is.. i was at parkway parade today.. went past Borders.. curbed my urge to just go in and 'take a look'.. coz i got a whiny bb chameleon with me and the old chameleon too. no way i can read and enjoy my selection.. wanted to go alone tomorrow, saw what bbgirl posted, pointed mouse on my PC's calendar.. ok. dec 13. no more sale..

Mist: sorry.. late reply. it's ok for 120ml for 2.30/3pm feed. the logic here is to get the bb to eat more solids at 5pm.. so this feed cannot be too big.. yes.. u doing a goodjob. pls go ahead and replace then 1130milk feed with a solids lunch.. can't be drinking so much milk liao. tell ur MIL. ur bb not cow..(remember?

).. but to make sure that he not eating that much for 5pm. coz the last milk feed at 7 still impt for himm.. if eat too much at 5, wun have appetite to drin kat 7 liao.. i think at this age.. 3/4 bowl - 1 bowl just nice..

Irin: pls rest assured that ur girl is of a very good weight. was at the GP the other day and saw this milestone development chart hanging on the wal.. go kpo a bit.. saw that for 11mths.. weight should be 11kg.. so at 9mth. 9 kg?? i think very good liao.. u wun want them to be to heavy.. trust me.. i am a victim.. haiz..

babies 2007 so different from babies 2005. at 10mths in 2005, Matthew was considered 90% liao, he was 9kg then...

that's why i say 2007 diff fr 2005.. in 2005, in the FEb/Mar05 thread, M was the heavywt... today, the heavywt is no longer 9kg.. it's upgraded to 13kg!!!
 
i stared at the chart while at the GP seeking treatment for my eyes.. 9kg at 9mths.. just right .. and the clinic . i think.. hs not removed thiat chart... since like 2 years ago??.. 2005.. 90% percentile is very ok.. i WISH one day .. teng can drop to 90%percentile.. via the healhty way. and not tru sickness.

yvonne: not yet, BP just close today, i am am cosolidating order and payment now. Have already alerted the supplier.. orders will go in before the end of this week. then its an estimated 1.5 to 2 weeks for them to deliver I will see if they can deliver earlier. Will let u know again.

PP borders is so neat I couldn't believe it. Saw all the different EC books there. Bot another 85 over and got another $10 voucher.

I still didn't use up all my vouchers, started giving them away at the counter. They thanked me so much. So easy to make people glad - it makes me glad too..

... actually saw some of you at gymboree the other day, but everyone was in a hurry to leave so didnt catch up as well. How was the class? From on on-looker's perspective, i tot Kindermusik looked better? at least K conducts the class in an enclosed area, without passerbys walking and peeping... the G teacher also seemed to be screaming her head off... i still like that Shauna. she impressed me q a bit.

aiya, EJ is wearing us out.. I don't mean to agitate you.. but he keep moving non-stop!! keep crawling here there and everywhere.. using his push-to-walk walker.. trying to pull on sofa.. crawl to the balcony and try to eat the floor-cloth.. it's really tiring I tell u.. to chase after him and make sure he doesn't electrocute himself by playing with the wall-plugs.. or hitting his head on the tv console, dining chair, floor, sofa etc.. If you have a bb like EJ, maybe you will wish that he can guai guai sit down.. Sometimes I think as mothers we are never satisfied hor.. don't move we worry, move too much we feel tired..
