Linda: My friend already upheaved the entire family to go. I would to, cuz I'm sure easy for my hubby to find job (it industry mah) and can employ maid somemore.

If u wan to go SNEC, do look got a recommended doc, somemore who has used and have good results before. Dun anyhow humthump :p
 


mist: hehehe tt's what they said in the contact lens industry too - cuz there's always new ways of doing it and we dunno wat is the long term effect.

But really, how many pple in the contact lens industry wear contacts. My team then, my boss cannot wear, our director then didn't wear, only sales 3 of us wear (with me 4 but i gave up) and one of them wear glasses with astig on top.

linda, such a coincidence. i actually applied for overseas posting to UAE - Abu Dhabi. impt for mutual encouragement and support. but education is a big consideration esp your two older kids are of school-going age. my friend told me that you can send them to international schools but then the locals also send them to the same schools so the standards drop. which part of UAE are you considering?

Mmm, i will not go as afterall hb job is more impt. For me my lst priority is my kids. So career and $ is not so impt for me in this stage.
Also i will not get this kind of offer as I'm not so independent and capable.

but my ears quite pain if i wear glass for a long period leh... and during confinement, i am so desperate for lasik, cos i can't see my boy in the night!!
 
Linda, the reason why i can go is because it is only 2 years. 2 years for me can pass very fast. my hb worked in china for more than 4 years last time, ialso think ok. so, no big deal lor.
somemore, tian so young, 2 years for her to play play there also not bad. i like exposure..

It is a danger to put car seat in front due to airbags (for Jazz model).
I already find it a bit squeezy for 2 adults to sit behind with the carseat; cannot imagine with 2 carseats.
I think you juz have to find a smaller build maid :p

But if hb wants to go overseas i will not want to follow cos i'm those cannot adapt fast to change. That's why we will not be rich because of me.

I wish there are shoes in stainless steel. Cuz I broke in my shoes all too often liao. The last pair from charles and keith that cost $30 plus have gone to heaven liao in under 2 months. Need to buy new shoes. Sianz.

Dubai not that bad, but weather a bit hot tho' not as humid as spore.
i also told hubby i would love to stay in overseas for a while...but tough, cos will need to bring me, leia + MIL over. MIL said she will want to go wif us and bring her cats over :p. If like that, i rather not, cos sure a lot of conflicts if she has nothing to do there, and i see her, she sees me, better not.

U diff. U are away from ur family in the 1st place. Dats why my hb finds it ez to up and go aso since he had 'left' his family since he was 19.

For me, no matter where i go, i still in sg. Any problem, my kids and parents are 1 phonecall away. If i leave here and something happens to my parents. I am 20 hours away. Come to tink of it, its my parents dat is tying me down.. Hmm....

Dubai working hours are GREAT! Start at 7am ends at 3-4pm. So far, I have heard alot of good stuff coz the industry is growing. Good $ too. Thus the temptation.
 
linda, u are right! I left home since I was 11 years old. I dun have much bonding with my parents, so they can dun see me for months and even without phonecalls in months. maybe that's y i have all my freedom to do anything i want.
i pat tor outside and change bf they also blur blur dunno.

ws lookin for trouble, woke up to get a drink. but ended wit a cut on his eyelid. then the cut din stop bleeding.

when finally stop, he woke me up ask me whether he shld go see doc. ask him go himself. coz it doesnt look like it req stitches.

but to make himself at ease, i ask him to go n see doc, he said wanna go A&E. went to Mt A. the staff told him need to get the plastic surgeon to come n do stitches. told him bill will be 2k+. refer him to SGH.

so went to SGH in the end, dun req stitches, send him home with a plaster nia! the cut is 1 cm long.
now at home at mc for 2 days. but kena scolding by his parents. ask how come, din call them and ask them to accompany him to hospital

linda, haha. unfortunately doc not jap. actually which level is lavonne and lucius attending now? but it's a good way to save money if everything is provided for. but dubai's standard of living quite high though. must make sure the package covers quite well.

my previous rship started in Dubai Desert..kekkee. and I bought my first Zara from Dubai before it came to Spore, so they are advanced! hahaha...

bintan..2D1N? or? is there a big price diff for weekdays vs weekend?
